- The 2016 South Carolina strength meet was another success and lifters from all over the state came to compete in 3 events for medals and rings. Lots of great lifters and two state records were broken. Anthony Anderson from the 140lb class broke the squat record, as well as Jhabias Johnson hitting 755lbs for the overall state squat record. Lots of hard work has been spent and these lifters had to place in the top 3 in their weight class at the region meet to make it to state. Thank you to White Knoll high school for putting on the event, and to the sponsers Total Speed and Strength, and Samgroup for supplying the equipment and medals. Congrats to all the lifters!
