Can-am X3 BIG battery UPGRADE

- My Can-am stock battery lasted a little over a year and that is with it always on a battery maintainer. It was time for an upgrade and I decided to go with the biggest battery that would fit in the stock battery location without major modification. I went with the Odyssey PC1200 and used a battery strap from @UTVINC. This battery has more than double the cold cranking amps, a lot more amp hours, and a 2 year warranty.

I did this oversized battery install yesterday on my X3 2-seater with smartshox.
I have a Probox roof package 3 with the under the seat subs.
I had the new battery on a full charge.
The goal was to try to see how long I could play my stereo until the battery died.
I have Whip Lights, but they were not on.
I started at 7:03 pm playing the tunes so obnoxiously loud that my wife and I couldn't sit inside the car.
I finally gave up at 8:03 1 hour later.
I still was reading 12.5 after 60 minutes and the car cranked right up.

Odyssey batteries are top notch. A whole lot better than those yeller top problems too.
I have a probox top also so it shuts itself off like 45 seconds after I shut machine off when it drops to 12volts. Will this let it play longer until it drops to 12v ?
Yes, it will help it play longer. I haven’t really tested it but I know ours will play about 15 mins with the switch off.
How you doing with that battery? Mine arrives in a couple of days and I would like to know if it can handle a lot of accesories.
I just installed it. We are going riding this weekend and I will let you know.

Ha, I bought from someone selling stuff out of a tent on the side of the road.
Main reason battery dies are lack of maintenance.yours is a good example with all that dirt 😂😂
