That's beautiful, he truly is a musical genius. Love his piano solos, always wanted to see him on a solo tour just him and piano--- but I was to young!
@WBB843 I believe it's the sound boards guy that changes the sound depending on the song. Most have the same sound, but for something like 'Daniel', it'll be changed.
@@BabyLambCreationsthe base of his piano sound is from the MKS-20 rack he uses, which is basically a box that gives you the sounds from the Roland RD1000, as he loved that that keyboards piano sound since he used it for 6 years live and it was bright and cut through the band. The mix is about 90% Roland sound, and then 10% of a Yamaha 9 Ft grand which is also just a patch because they can’t mic his piano as he likes his monitors LOUD. They measured the sound one time and it was like 115 decibels coming from 4 amps.
When is Elton John record another mainly instrumental album or songs ? He has the talent to surpass "Friends" and other albums or songs he has done in the past.
This is below average for an Elton Piano intro. For example, have a listen to the Nuremberg 2014 Rocket Man intro on youtube. It's far better. For a lot of this, he's basically just tranferred the 'Take Me To The Pilot' intro into 'Rocket Man'. I'm not sure if it suits.
Great amateur footage...very good sound registering and also nice Elton´s little suit's reflections... Do you think Elton John will release an instrumental disc, perhaps with new songs or instrumental exclusive versions of his classics? I ´ve always wondered why he never had this idea, for his melody improvisation skills and are impressive.
Elton is WAY to hard on the keys. Perhaps this style entertains most of you here; but, I can assure you after he is through w/ his performance, any piano he plays is noticeably out of regulation to the extent no classical pianist will want to play the piano until after the piano is repaired.
He is so freaking awesome and this is just on the piano. I could listen to Elton just play the piano forever…
Elton is one of the musical geniuses of our day. How blessed we have been to see and hear him.
Front row ...it was a brilliant experience...Elton was relaxed and on fire.
Loving it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Magnificent....Amaizing...Wonderful....Unique
That was actually amazing….
What a treat to have found this video. All the sparkles were quite mesmerizing too. He didn’t even break a sweat!
Elton, words dont cover the magic of you. Princess Theresa
Was there...mind blowing performance
So amazing! Sounds like a harpsichord!! If he recorded classical music I would totally listen to it!
That’s the beauty of his piano and the way it sounds.
He plays a Yamaha Disklavier piano that he can change the way it sounds.

No one creates a mood like Elton.

He can really play that piano and sing!

Elton, incredible. Wish was there. Princess Terese Maria Faisal
It is soooooooooooooooo brilliant !!!!!!
Oh, how I wish he put stuff of this caliber on his records.
You have to go back to his pre 1980's records.

I'm a huge EJ fan, but to say he's the best of the best is a bit of a stretch.
Hi i like your music
That lick at 0:11 ♥️
Beautiful ❤❤
Brillant!! Magnificant!!!!!
Hermoso !!
Chapeau..
Salutations au chanteur Elton John Bénédictions.
Damn!
not his best fan, but admire very much. His voice still clean
🤩🎵🎶🎹❤
je pense que lirlande doit le booster cest absolument fabuleux
Son génie s'exprime partout ! A Rouen en décembre 2016, il avait été aussi grandiose au niveau de l'impro. J'ai mis la vidéo sur ma chaine !
I don’t think he meant to hit the blue note at 3:00 but he went with it.
It was just part of a descending chromatic scale
A UA-cam commercial in the middle of Elton playing?!?! NOT COOL!!!
UA-cam just wants people to subscribe and go commercial free!
7:30 What does Elton sing here? It's supposed to be, Mars ain't the kind of place, to raise your kids.
But, it sounds like something else? 🧐🤔
@Adrian metzler-holden Yes, I think ur right! I just heard it. :)
Mars ain't the kind of place you used to raise your kids
Rocket Man
Did he write this?? Anyone know?

But only he will be and I’m sure he can afford any maintenance
He has an army of piano techs to maintain his many million$ pianos, which are staged all around the world.
Why is his outfits always brighter than his music?
nah. his music is brighter
