The P337 conversion that I’ve flown in and with the additional Horton Stol kit as we started to throttle forward from the TSIO-360-CB engines on takeoff the turbochargers pushed me back in my seat and what a nice aircraft that and I wanted to get my multi engine rating but with center line thrust I would not be able to operate the other twins. The person who purchased this Beautiful Aircraft has one of the best T337 that I’ve ever seen for a long time I personally would ride along .
A friend of mine had a 337 and I have a few hours in the right seat. I remember that engine sync between front and back was a pain. Used to get a pulsing when they were out of sync. Kind of a buzz in the floor.
@@mpladd The standard Cessna 337 Skymaster has a maximum speed of 173 kn at (sea level) and a cruise speed of 125 kn at 10,000 ft (econ cruise). How many horse power would Gardner need to add to make this a "300 mph cruiser". Keep in mind the Cessna 337 has a vne of 194kn (never exceed speed).
not really...the P models are pressurized..you are riding inside a pressure vessel and have additional insulation as well ...when i was flying one i used a Telex head set and was very comfortable

My Dream Plane...
300 mph cruiser, great plane by Riley. Wish I had one to travel in style.
300 TAS with fixed gear?
more like 150mph crusier.
@@dreamdiction more like 270kt max, 225kt cruise, so yes, it's a 300mph plane.

@@dreamdiction This is not a standard Cessna 337. It's a Riley Super Rocket conversion, rebuilt from the ground up. The numbers I gave are valid.
This is the only plane I know that is very similar to the 337 Cessna Skymaster
It IS a 337! Riley just worked its magic on one.
wow!
I can’t imagine how noisy this is inside!

It is a rocket ship.
This appears like a P337
