@@babyjaws73 Cascadeur can only generate realistic body-mechanical character animations. It would be great if it can automatically produce Pixar-esque or Dreamworks-like stylish character animations with very minimal art directions from the user
With this I would love in the future to unbake to different levels. More or less level of details + breakdown keys like in traditional animation. So I could edit a level with very few keys, most extreme poses etc. And then inbetween keys would adopt to the changes in both position and timing. In some ways this is how autophysics already work. But it would be great with this control method on keyframe level as well. So with this one can unbake both baked imported animation and keyed inside. Key difference is that the unbake could be done in several ways. One where it removes keys to get a results as close as possible using autphysics. Basically keyframe reductions with autophysics. The other would be more that it would identify breakdown keys and still keep all the keys. Or it can be as simple as you mark down some keys as breakdown keys manually.
This is amazing. Jumped into this with some motion tracked from a movie clip. Dumb question for anyone, but should I be looking at the grey guy or the green guy for my final results? BC when I change the Unbaking parameters, it seems like only the green guy changes... Anyway, thanks!
Feet ground contact detection could be done without this fulcrum point detection too? Couldn't it be done with a reference plane for floor and then allow reducing useless keyframes on custom rig animations too? But if it is using autoposing, I guess it isn't that simple.
There's absolutely no logical reason for this feature to exist in the new Free version, when it can't export to FBX. I say this as a long time Pro version user. The new Free version is utterly useless and I'll no longer be able to recommend it to anyone, unfortunately.
if you use cascadeur before 1 march 2024 then they left you big present where you can claim cascadeur indie license of 90+90$ (2 years) for free, so it basically better then previous free version because no bones/frames limitations and also can customize app for work with multiple displays, as a pro user who forgot to top up my bank card and lost my early adopter 50% discount in february i was update to 2024.1 and feel a little bit better
@@poochyboi Ah so just because it suddenly does not have all you want for free you should pirate it. Sounds legit. Also can you do some animation work for a small game I am working on? No payment of course.
awesome useful tool. great work 🎉❤
Good feature!
Fantastic feature. I hope there will be an option in Cascadeur to make the animation more stylish in the future
what does that even mean?

Why my animations looks "low fps" after unbaking?
I get error Autophysics: Interval length for selected center of mass is less than 3 frames. How do I add frames to it?

Usually the grey figure is the preview of your actual current animation, and the green figure is the animation with autophysics applied.
Is it possible to import to blender with one click, like bridge addon?
No
Yes, there's an addon @@cs1045
In other words, does the animation unbaking currently only work with standard humanoid characters? As it requires using autoposing.

animation failed to load every time
i managed to get one animation to load but all it did was make my character lay-down (i don't mean animate)
missed opportunity to call it "animation defrosting". other than that a great feature! 😅😅

wow.....
WARNING, they removed the option for fbx exports, making it useless for anyone who doesn't pay monthly.

Time to pirate then
The Indie version is FREE for 2 years for those who had registered before March 1, 2024. You can claim it directly inside Cascadeur in the Help menu
@@Cascadeur I joined 15 days ago.
So I cant claim anything.
