Thanks for posting this video, Michael. But when you first import the model, you click on “Import FBX / model” and then you click on a FBX file in your computer, right? When I do that (“Import FBX/Animation), I only get a skeleton that I have to rig. Then I import the motion on that rig, which is not a character. Where do you get your character? Thanks.
You have to import the Mixamo file as a model first. Then rig the Mixamo model in Cascadeur. After it is rigged, then import the same file as an animation. You have to import the same Mixamo file twice. First as a model. Second as an animation. I hope this helps.
The animation came from Mixamo. You have to get your character from Mixamo. If you choose a bot, it will work, because Mixamo created the bot. If you use a character from Mixamo, it may not work, because the person who created it, may have not done a good job rigging it. I hope this helps.
@@iclone3danimation976 You can import FBX motions into CC4. You have to convert the motion in Cinema 4D to FBX or BVH. If you can apply the motion to your C4D character, and export your character as FBX, you can import into CC4.

@@michaelbarton130 I imported a character from Mixamo and it works. But if I import a Cascadeur character, it doesn’t work.
How to export Cinema 4D motion to Iclone ?
If you can convert the Cinema 4D motion as an FBX, then you can import into CC4 or 3DXChange 7.
@@michaelbarton130 I can use to the original character but I want to use for cc3/4character
