Haha 😂 thanks dude! Glad you understood it was a bit of a laugh, a lot of people think I'm being serious! 😂🫤 Unfortunately I sold my Saab for a TVR but those videos are more serious than this one... I'll see if I can do the same with the TVR but I might get shot! 🫣 Thanks for the comment 👍
Hahah! 😂 Thank you, glad it helped! I sold my Turbo X though... 😔 Great car, lots of memories made in it. I hope the new owner is enjoying it, as I spent silly amounts of money on maintaining it.. so I thought I would buy something more unreliable (not that I ever broke down in the Saab) I bought a TVR, but if I was to make another video it would just be me swearing at it constantly with no context. I even bought a bigger hammer for when it does start to p*ss me off! 🤣
Hahaha, people still ask about other things about how to help them with various issues but I no longer have the car!... :D Shame I could have made more they seem to be a hit...
Haha brilliant! 👍 Unfortunately these cars have this as an inherent fault. It'll come back sooner or later, but you can try to clean the window rubbers, and spray with some silicone to help with function. Naturally you'd have to wipe off any excess. 👌Cheers
This is to reset the anti-idiot pinch feature I presume? The instructions I used before (the oh 6 or 7x now I've needed to do it 😖) only did the up/down portion which worked...for a while. I've never seen the screwdriver-y bit, will have to see if that works better. (And if not, for whatever reason, thx for the 🤣 all the same.)
Haha, no worries. It's only to be considered a temporary fix, and indeed it corrects the anti-pinch mechanism. Unfortunately with these it's an inherent problem. I went through the receipts of my TX and found when it was new they took it in to be diagnosed for the exact same thing.. Clearly even Saab dealers had no clue! 🙈 Anyway, I hope it helps. 👍
Don't need to remove the door connector sir. Everytime you disconnect/remove the car battery you have re-program the window regulator by the 2nd half of your video (up/down window button positioning).
So why would you go for the greasy option? 🤔 Batteries and their terminals are dirty, plus you need to find the correct socket, rachet / or spanner etc. Not to mention, every time you disconnect/reconnect the battery you risk blowing something up... This is the simplest option, doesn't take much to do with tools you can find around the house. This is also the recommended way of it. 🤷🏻♂️ Anyway thank you sir for your comment, I have moved on long ago now from the TurboX. TVR 🇬🇧 is where is it at now. 😂💪
@@RobsCars When there is no other option and the battery has to removed/disconnected, then the up/down window positioning has to be done to activate the safety pinch feature. Anywsys sad to hear you moved away from the TurboX....awesome car!
Yeh, when you see the same post every 12hours, about how to reset the window regulator it started to wind me up! So I thought I would make a joke video about it. It was actually just for a couple of friends, but they goaded me into uploading it here. Glad they did it has had a mixed reception.
Calls people idiots while having the wheel on the wrong side of the car
Hahaha funnily enough I got my driving licence in France. 🤷♂️
Right hand side is the right side?!
And with no shoes on :D
