In this video, we discuss how to study multiple subjects. Many of us are currently studying more than 8 subjects, which is incredibly difficult for anyone to manage. I personally took 11 subjects in secondary school, all while balancing my extra curricular activities as well. So I hope the study tips in this video will help you out too!

"The more stressed you are, the more chances of you blanking out." That advice actually helps me a lot. I did that mistake on my previous exam. I put in all nighter for the whole week, didn't get any rest and genuinely was very stressed and don't bother to calm myself down. Even after the whole effort into studying, i ended up not remembering anything during the exam and had a mental breakdown. I got a low mark because of it. This advice helps me, I'll try to calm myself down first! So thank you!

0:13 I am a bulgarian student and this is the first time I hear in other countries you can CHOOSE how many subjects you can study. In high school in Bulgaria you must study 13 subjects and most of them you don't wanna study at all! So thanks for this video, it helped me a lot!

You are a lifesaver! I took so many classes and extracurricular classes this year. Its the 2nd month of school already and I've already collapsed. This motivated me to keep on going and continue.
You are a hidden gem faye! you helped me get higher grades. these days I get a lot of high grades on the difficult subjects that I used to fail.
1. SPLIT YOUR SUBJECTS
- do not dedicate a day for one specific day
- divide your subjects into batches (eg 9 subjects - 3 batches)
- mix difficult and easy subjects in one batch
- study one batch a day
- alternate your study days and practice days
- practice days: do practice, then read material that you got wrong
- study days: revise material that you got wrong
2. STUDY TWICE A DAY
- break day into 2 sessions(morning & night)
- study the same things in the 2 sessions
- session 1: write down subtopics, then blurt out what you can remember, check notes to see what you missed
- session 2: repeat until nothing is missed
3. DONT STUDY SUBJECTS IN SIMILAR CATEGORIES TOGETHER
- memory dependent subjects: biology, geography, ess, ss, higher music
- practice subjects: a math, e math, chemistry
- language subjects: english, chinese
- every day, do one subject of each category
4. HOW TO PRIORITISE
- highlight learning objectives in textbook and study them
- then go through the rest of textbook and tick those you think is important
5. WHAT TO DO WHEN WE HAVE MANY EXAMS
- tab important pages of textbook or notes
- only revise these pages when rush revising
- read corrections on past year papers that you did
- recap these topcis

I recently have 12 subjects and from these 12 subjects I have to repeat 3 subjects daily without skipping any of them. Hi Faye, thanks so much for this video. I am studying in high school in the UK and I have to take seven subjects because I just chose my options for my GCSEs. The compulsory subjects that we have to take are Maths, English (Language and Literature), and Combined Science and with these for my options, I chose Computer Science, Business studies, Further Maths and Statistics.
I have 10 subjects to study and I repeat maths everyday as our Indian parents tell us to practice maths everyday even if it's just for half an hour. Along with maths I choose 1 easier subject and 1 hard subject. I dedicate more time to the hard subjects. I have followed your tips from this video and other previous ones too and now I can focus on my studies very well.
Same I also do that I study mathematics everyday and include 1 hard subject (memory based) and 1 easy subject (interpretation based) it becomes a lot easier to study every subject and balance it all and this make sure I don't neglect any subject.

EDIT: Actually I've only mention theoretical subject. Other than that we also get marks for PE, Drawing, Dance, Music, communication skills and many more 🥱

@@elainebuyeke3773 GK means General Knowledge (it's kind of having little bit information about all the subjects which are useful in day to day life)
And moral science is honestly a useless subject. It teaches us morla values (correct manners, behavior etc) which is although not followed by anyone 😑

Actually I am from Pakistan and I have 6 sub in 1 year which are chemistry, physics, English, Urdu (our national language), Islamist, and Biology. Actually biology is divided into 2 sub subjects that are : Botany and Zoology. So we have to give 7 papers in overall 😁😉

When I was in grade 6,7,8 and 9 I had to learn 13 subjects. So I have lost of experiences like stress ,depression..Now I'm studying 5 subjects. @@shreyasrivastava6738 you can start with learning Hangul,you have some lessons on UA-cam and you have some apps for learning korean. I think it's easier that way so when you learn to read and write you can then start to learn some words and sentences. For numbers you have sino korean and native korean (you can find it on UA-cam).

Being an Indian High schooler and someone who's very competitive academically, it was very helpful! Memorisation is the most difficult for me while interpretation based subjects are the most boring for me...I've taken 6 subjects and it is very hard...thank u faye 💗
Omg thank you so much for this video!! I'm taking 19 different subjects, and i did not have a choice. That's just how it is in my country 🤷. And i also do after school clubs, so all in all, life is stressful. This video is going to SAVE MY LIFE.

Here in Ukraine, we have 7-10 subjects per semester and in 1 month I'm having final exams, so those methods are called to save me and my graduation this year. Fortunately, my University is not destroyed, so that's a great motivation too. Thank you for your work!

@@atiyascraft631 lol in some countries the opposite happens. When you’re a kid you have to study 10+ subjects but when you enter high school they are reduced to only 4 or 5!

ahhh your vid just passed through my recommendations while i was studying, I'm a highschooler who's in my second year and i take 15 subjects. So this was really really helpful for me, especially since i tend to overdo one subject in one day instead of splitting it. Thank youu💕💕💕
hey I'm a high school student from India with 11 subjects which are English (1 & 2), French, Marathi, history, geography, biology, physics,chemistry, maths, physical education ( both practicals and theory) and rapid reader.
To be honest, this video really helped me a lot and like, you're so much better than other studytubers who just give out really vague and frankly, useless advice so I like how this was so detailed and instructive ! thanks again !!
