On a second note, the Indian education system is really hard. Naturally, we need to study extra. I’ve seen my sister take over the room for 8 hours straight. It’s not the least bit funny when you go into senior school 😢 I’m lucky I’m still in middle school. What I’m trying to say is, I’m very proud of us students, no matter where ya’ll live. Faye I can't tell just how much I appreciate you actually learning our culture and language for this video. Shows just how much efforts you put to actually get to know your audience. Love you so much
Lemme tell you one thing how Indian study hours goes from 0 to x,y,z Till 5th you won't do any self study or anything if u r average or good from 6 th standard 6:30 -3:00 school 4-6 tuition than again no self study same goes till 8 th but from 7th u will start studying a little bit before the exams like 1 or 3 weeks before the exams and since 9th world turns upside down ur school 6:30-2:00 , 3-5:30 tution 5:30-6:30 rest and a self study of at least 3 hours is important according to me otherwise u will score really less 9th is hard tbh than in 10th my schedule was this wale up at 2:30 am study till 5:30, 5:30 to 6:30 get ready for school and reach the bus stop then at 3 i used to reach at my house and within 10-15 minutes i was supposed to leave my hous as the place where I used to go for tuition was a bit far than i used to play badminton ( because my health was really bad and i needed to play doctor said it will be a great issue for me later that is why it was important) after that I used to reach at my home at 8:30!!! And then i used to eat food watch a Lil tv or use my phone and from 10:30 to 12 i used to complete my writing work then sleep from 12-2 or 12-3 which really affected my health. So yeah this is the life of most of the people til 8th u r kinda free from 9th u get busy forget bout fun keep studying and if u score less ur parents are gonna scold u real bad. 🙂 And sometimes we gotta study for nights and days without sleeping before exam this happened with me I literally didn't sleep for 2 days well it was practically my fault cuz I procastinated 🥲😅. Edit - sorry for grammatical errors
This is the actual reality of Indian students, I can feel u. I wanna like this comment damn 10000 times. So relatable to me 😭...but disappointed as my life is relatable with this comment
Ahhhhhh watching her speak Hindi just melts my heart...Love and good wishes from India ❤️❤️ And I'm obsessed with her Hindi accent so imma watch this video a million times
Im not from india, but I'm really amazed on how studious and hard working you guys are. Indians have really inspired me to study well and to practice a routine so that I can manage my time somehow. You guys deserve so much
This routine was specifically about students pursuing higher education (11th,12th maybe dummy students and college) I'm in 12th with subjects commerce and mathematics and although I don't study that much, the hours of studying stated here are very much correct. And school going students won't have that much time to study ofcourse so I think this routine represents dummy students and college going students
and here I am a master's student and watching this video to get motivated to study. Also, its typical for Indian students who have major exams such as 10th, 12th boards, entrance exams to get into universities for both ug and pg and other competitive exams to study minimum of 10-12 hours a day .
As an Indian I dont study that much at home, I think that the main thing to do is to listen VERY CAREFULLY in school. If u do that, the content stores in our brain and when we reach home we just need to read and revise. This is a great way to study and it will also result in good grades. I do this method everytime and I am so happy with it!!!! Also in our school (my school*) we mostly focus on our future for arts and literature, sports and all those things. BUT STUDYING IS REALLY IMPORTANT BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN TO DEPEND ON THAT FOREVER Edit: I don't wanna be that person but 50 LIKES????? Thank you all
I too used to do this when I was in school, listening to the teachers and just revising at home..but as a university student now I can tell that this way is not effective anymore.... our system usually prioritizes government colleges and universities for admission because of fewer fees as compared to private ones..and you know how lecturer in government clg and universities teach right!? They'll just give you an outline of a topic and send the presentation slide or some pdfs which now you have to read on your own and understand the rest..lecturer from my university basically just explains the basic things which we already knew about the topic as an "Outline" and then send pics, pdfs, slides in WhatsApp group to study on our own..we university students have to rely on ourselves and our books only..no one helps us!! 🥲😭
that is the routine for high school students, specifically, junior and senior high students. As someone who is in 11th and chose PCB, i can relate my routine to the one shown in the video
As an indian we have to give exams. And our schedule is bit difficult but study help us to get success. And i am proud to be indian. Thanks faye for your efforts
Exams in Sri Lanka are 🥴🥴 same as India I think. May be harder than India. Tomorrow there will be a Histoy test in our school but I didn't even read my textbook yet. 😶
@@jungkooksbananamilk2505 I'm a science student and I have Physics exams tomorrow like we have two textbooks for physics and its very hard. Well about your question............I have no answer at all. All I know is that I don't get time to sleep nor eat or do I care about eating. I'm always sick and the stress plus the extreme expections makes my health become even worse. The only way to have a stable future is to succeed and i.e. through studies, so we have to sacrifice everything.
@aera This is our first term test . We have Three terms and three vacations after them,. And also monthly tests in every month. For the first term - nearly 30 % of syllabus, and for the second -70%, and for third-100% 🥴🥴 And I've never skipped school for my whole life 😅 I did my best in the history test, but I only marked 5 places out of 12😅 I could imagine how my mom react my marks

I remember watching your videos for motivation during my 12th finals but didn't know you are doing these interesting routines. It's fun to see how you are engaging your subscribers in this way and also you, yourself are putting a lot of effort in doing this. Really love this concept. Hope to see more contents where you can engage your subscribers more cuz ik it definitely helped the students to study in a more fun and interesting way.
As an Indian 19y/o student I would 100% agree on the evening "family time" ritual. Currently I am in a different city but still it's a must to call my parents everyday during dinner. They even ask to send pictures of what I am eating or where I have been travelling.
It's 1:00 am...I was studying for like 2-3 hrs continuously. So I decided to watch some of your videos for study tips to just relax while being a little productive. Then I came across this video..never thought someone would appreciate the hard work and struggles we Indians have to face just to compete with others everywhere like competitive exams, life, family, friends, and the list goes on. When we tell our parents that it's hard, they reply, "We too have gone through this phase..your hard work is nothing compared to what we had to suffer" and I don't think statements like this from parents help any of us to be encouraged..plus girls here need to do household chores because our moms will slap us with their slippers if we don't! I have just accepted my fate..
I appreciate how you are making an effort to try various countries' routines. India is a diverse nation, and it is tricky to place the whole country's essence in one video yet, you achieved it very beautifully.

Hey faye!! I'm so so glad to see this video and how you appreciated both North and South India. People often forget south india but I was exhilarated to see you speaking Tamil. I'm from kerala, and it's not my mother tongue but we malayalis do have a close relationship with Tamil Nadu. The Indian study routine really is extremely tiring so I love that you followed our entire routine esp house chores.( sometimes they call you in the middle of studying and it can get annoying but it is family :) ). Personally I don't have tuitions every single day and some scheduled times are at 5 and 6 am( I'm pretty sure it's the same for a lot of other kids too). So i get the evng free. My fav food for breakfast would be puttu or appam( which are both rice based, we south Indians don't fancy wheat that much, but each dish is cooked in a different way so its delicious). Loved the video and hope you post more!

I am from India, I love your videos, thanks for this video🇮🇳 really appreciate how you respected us indians thanks a lot🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 Now about breakfast, I have a whole day school and my school is far from my house, so bus arrives at around 7 : 15. Due to this I need to wake up at like 6 : 10 to get ready on time. I also have to study late night and I need like atleast 30 minutes for breakfast. So I skip breakfast. I have this habit since grade 1, which is since 7 years now. I reach school at 9 after so much traveling. Good thing is I can spend that minutes sleeping. I reach home at 6 : 30, freshen up, have snacks and study, then, have dinner plus family time then sleep, no extra activities or anything. Around 3 hours of traveling dialy is very much exhausting, especially when I am alergic to AC. In my bus and class, there is AC. Keep up the good work!

Faye, I just want to tell you how much you & your channel means to me 🌻💖 This channel has genuinely changed my life for so much better, I'm not even exaggerating. I'm a student with depression & ADHD, and all my life I've been scolded and yelled at by peers and teachers because I couldn't work how THEY wanted, and because my mind was different than others. Your channel has helped me so much, with organizing and taking control of my own life. The way you speak and your ideas, it all really means a lot to me. Thank you! 🌸

I really want you to know this Faye, that you're truly very inspiring, and I say this from my heart. I got a video of yours as a recommendation this year in February, and I was starting high school, which my parents call the "first step of success". Your videos really saved me, and now I'm waiting for the result of my "first step of success". But I had been through a lot of mental problems, three of main being stress, anxiety, and depression. But your videos helped me a lot, reminded me to take breaks and that I'm not the only one. I'm from South Asia, near India though, so I know what it feels like managing the pressure of studying and spending time with your family, specially when a lot of the pressure is because of them, but you still wanna make them proud, but who cares about that, you still love them. So I know the feeling. It's just your videos have helped me SOOOOOOO much, I can't even say, and you can never know just how much exactly they've helped me, through my hardest moments. You always seem so passionate about helping others, and you do it in such a great way, and I absolutely LOVE your jokes. Just thanks a LOT for helping me in my hard times, you're a great person Faye. Yeah! For me too
For me
Lemme tell you one thing how Indian study hours goes from 0 to x,y,z
Till 5th you won't do any self study or anything if u r average or good from 6 th standard 6:30 -3:00 school 4-6 tuition than again no self study same goes till 8 th but from 7th u will start studying a little bit before the exams like 1 or 3 weeks before the exams and since 9th world turns upside down ur school 6:30-2:00 , 3-5:30 tution 5:30-6:30 rest and a self study of at least 3 hours is important according to me otherwise u will score really less 9th is hard tbh than in 10th my schedule was this wale up at 2:30 am study till 5:30, 5:30 to 6:30 get ready for school and reach the bus stop then at 3 i used to reach at my house and within 10-15 minutes i was supposed to leave my hous as the place where I used to go for tuition was a bit far than i used to play badminton ( because my health was really bad and i needed to play doctor said it will be a great issue for me later that is why it was important) after that I used to reach at my home at 8:30!!!

Im not from india, but I'm really amazed on how studious and hard working you guys are. Indians have really inspired me to study well and to practice a routine so that I can manage my time somehow. You guys deserve so much
not really everyone don't study like 13 hrs according to me side by school classes i only study 2-3 hrs so it varies.
@@imsheep123oinkoink i understand because I'm also in the 12th grade so my schedule is almost like that 😭
@@unknownperson9543 really? Wow huge respect for studying that much bro like I don't have the motivation to do that 😭
and here I am a master's student and watching this video to get motivated to study.
BUT STUDYING IS REALLY IMPORTANT BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN TO DEPEND ON THAT FOREVER
Edit: I don't wanna be that person but 50 LIKES?????
@@agentred230 Ya, But I dont know much about university and college and how they teach cuz I am just 12 :0.

They even ask to send pictures of what I am eating or where I have been travelling.
being an Indian, This honestly makes me so happy. The shear amount of efforts put into this video! Thank you Faye! Love you!!

Ooh and my favorite food has always been beef steak esp. when my mom cooks it.❤
Love it!!!! ❤
Thank you for making this video........ girl
I'm Indian and I know that this schedule is tough and it sucks but it's really helpful and at the end of the day it make us feel proud
Love you 🥰😍
I really want you to know this Faye, that you're truly very inspiring, and I say this from my heart.
Im starting my second year of HS, I hope it'll be great!
