- Here is my 6 am productive morning routine ❤️
In this morning vlog, we do our skincare routine while talking about bringing yourself out on dates. We also have a little catch up session and make breakfast together. I also did a little bit of internship work before getting ready to go to the market and the museum.
I also unboxed my new phone from @OPPOglobal 🥹 I was looking for a phone I could use to take pictures and create content with since I’m struggling with storage on my current phone. So, OPPO gifted me their new OPPO Reno11. Their new software, ColorOS 14, uses ‘Aquamorphic Design,’ and the OPPO team explained that it’s a combination of nature and water.

🔴 So far, here are my thoughts on the phone~
- The phone charges SO FAST. It literally only took me 20 mins to get to 100%
- The camera quality is amazing.
- The phone is very thin and light, it took some time getting used to it but that means it’s easy to chuck into your bag without adding extra weight
- I love the wallpapers. I know this is oddly specific, but something about them looks so visually appealing
- The only criticism I have is that I’m not used to using Android, so I still need to play around with the interface. I’m still fumbling around a little, but if you’re an Android user, this should be no problem~

Yep! A neat incomplete circle is like you gave up half way through because of the pressure to make it neat, but with the crumbly circle, you made it to the end _even if_ your hand slipped sometimes while drawing and it wasn't as neat as you wanted😊

I was dealing with perfectionism before and I am delighted to share to you how I overcome it. This is not a pro advice but what I did was to enjoy every little mess I did or just letting my self be genuinely happy of what I am doing. And of course accepting that we often can't make perfect things. What I did was focusing on doing excellent. This is my mindset " If I'm trying to make things perfect and I failed to do it, I'll be stress, but if I enjoy this process and let my self work without thinking of being perfect, I will be happy of what will it turns out knowing that I did my best to finish this task.
Also, I pray before doing things and reminding myself that I'm doing it to glorify God.
That's all, I'm not a pro but I hope this will help you

reminds me of a video by Struthless (I highly recommend his channel for creatives and those who want to improve their life) where his advice is to intentionally make something bad: designing with comic sans, paint with ugly colours... because it pushes you to view it as a fun challenge since it will not be perfect by definition

You've always been the one guiding us and giving us advice like a big sister!
So it is also our responsibility to help you in need.
My advice to stop perfectionism is to keep a deadline as tight as possible.
For example, if you have to write an email, keep a goal that you will finish it in 2-3 minutes.
This way, you have to rush to complete your goal and you won't stop for unwanted perfection.
You can also try to do these tasks at night before sleeping, or when you are really tired. Then you wouldn't bother to perfect the task and even the perfectionist in you just wants to finish the work asap and sleep :)
Faye, remember that scoping for perfection isn't bad, but you should have control over it, especially if it is wasting your time and taking a toll on your heath.
Uhum I see about the deadline. I've tried it but I don't know it doesnt work for me. I've developed a weak mindset because of this perfectionism thingy 😓 anyways thanks for info 💐

Maybe you could try doing your work when you are super tired. That way you won't pay attention to adding perfection and all, because you would just want to finish the work as soon as possible.
I tried the working at night thing, but i end up being so stressed im no longer tired enough to sleep 😭

Hey Faye! I had a really big problem with perfectionism during high school and how I overcame is that I just took deep breaths said whatever and just let the task be. For example if I had to write notes I would always make sure it was perfect what I did is one I finished it the first time I just left it at that and did something else to get it off my mind. Hopes this helps love your channel! ❤

I am a night owl and luckily my school starts at 11am (since their are 2 shifts and i am in the afternoon/senior shift) so i dont have the pressure to wake up early. I usually do my work till 2-3am and then wake up at 9am. I started waking up at 9am from one of your videos about procrastination as it helps me divide my day into chunks and i love that way of studying.
