Hey Faye I had an idea. I call it the "hybrid pomodoro."
When I plan a session, I write down 2 lists.
    1) non-academic tasks of no more than 10 minutes.
    2) non-academic tasks that last no longer than 30 minutes
For short breaks, I refer to list 1, and for long breaks, I refer to list 2. This way, all my annoying chores and other tasks I have to do, like dishes , laundry, cleaning, replying to emails, etc., get done without me being overwhelmed. As a bonus, I don't have to follow a strict schedule and I feel like I have some type of choice. I also feel less drained because I have been taking productive breaks during my study sessions, and there isn't a long list of time-consuming chores to do at the end of the day or week if I've been putting things off.😁

    Tips:
    1. Read for 10 mins - write notes for that section
    2. Essay template
    3. Break ideas- complete small tasks. Do not pick up your phone
    4. Stick to a particular playlist while studying
    5. Break 1 big task into small tasks (deadlines)-
    6. Stand up while studying
    7. Doodle

Faye, I'm so excited to tell you I improved a lot and did really well on my exam! 😁 Last year, i got 3A, 3B, 1C and 1D. I actually can get better grade if i studied. But I didn't because I'm really demotivated during MCO. I crammed for all the subject except Math since my favourite subject is Math.
But I told by my teacher that I got 7A and 1 B for my latest exam this Friday . I think this is such a huge improvement(atleast for me). My science improved from 87% to 97%. I'm really happy for that since I was headache and fever without taking medecine during my science exam . (Don't ask me why. I also don't know why I will get sick suddenly.🤣 )
Another subject I'm now really satisfying with is Sejarah.
And I wanna say thank you to you, Faye.
Faye, you are the one who contributes the most to my improvement. You always make high quality video for us. One of my favorite video from you is "how to study the subject you hate and score A+". Sejarah used to be my killer subject, but with your life saving tips, I start to improved in Sejarah. My Sejarah went from 53% to 86% ! Hehe. Your other video also help me to change my bad mindset, be productive and start to be a hardworking person. By the way, your english pronunciation is literally crystal clear that I'm using your video to practice my english listening(and procrastinating ofc🗿).
I' m now start getting my life together. Wake up early to self learning computer science become a part of my daily routine. I proud of that because I improved at something I weak at before. I'm saying that because I tried to make learning korean my daily routine before but fails.
My goal now is becoming a trilingual and get better in English .(If you're curious, I'm fluent in Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Cina) I suck at english. I still can't speak english even though I learn english since 5 years old.😭 I'd tried to speak English in front of my class and attended public speaking competition. But still not confident when speaking english. Being not fluent in speaking English and always make grammar mistake is literally my biggest insecurities.
I also want to request some video. Maybe you can consider to make one.😊
    Here is my video requestion:
    - How to avoid wasting time during holidays
    - How to manage stress
    - How to be socialize
    - How to be better at english
( I know Faye is native speaker but I need that. If you're someone who used to feel thw same, pls share some tips with me. You will make my day😊)
    - How to overcome insecurities and become a super confident person
Faye, if you don't make those video I won't also be disappointed because you're the one who inspires me to become a better person and helps so much in my study journey . You clearly put a lot effort in your video. You did a really good job in making high quality videos for us while studying in the University of Melbourne. I know you are a hardworking person but please don't give too many pressure to yourself and have a well deserved mental break !
Last, I wish you all who are watching my comment including Faye can achieve your goals, overcome insecurities, get what you deserve, get your life together, be rich and the most important, be physically and mentally healthy.
All the best to Faye and you guys 💚

Hey ... Friend, you don't need to be super confident while speaking English.. actually it's not only your problem many of us also face this problem everyday.. u just need to appreciate yourself when ever you speak English, try speak slowly like seriously u don't need to too perfect just start slowly. Even you can try talking with yourself in English in front of your mirror..(we are more comfortable while talking to our self as we don't judge our self ... Again don't forget to appreciate yourself 😊

    1. I leave everything till last minute.
    2. When I am trying to study I do great, then I decide to take 30 minutes break which turns into 5 hours.
    3. Taking notes. I write everything down because I just don't know what is needed (especially biology).

    another study tip:
for people who write down EVERYTHING, take a small notebook and write your notes in that, this way you can not be tempted to write everything down as there is less space
[i do this most of the time while cramming for exams it really helps with remembering key points and the main concept instead of studying the whole chaper for revision :)) ]

Whenever I sit to study. I suddenly feel the urge and think that it's not fun studying which makes it harder for me to focus. Although the only thing that satisfies me is studying. I am whole distracted from the last 20 days. I can't keep up with the schedule that I set for my study.. Still coping up with these type of situations . Sometimes I feel angry, sometimes anxious, sometimes overthink, and sometimes just zone out and thinking about all the unnecessary and unimportant thing that had nothing to do with me. If I try studying but after something happens that will again take me to the initial from where I start. It's everyday thing now. Ur videos really help me a lot. I'm from India and I'm in 7th grade, it has been really hard for me to study now but you helped me in my studies. Thanks for the effort you put in your video. And I got a jump scare when Jisoo appeared on the screen lol. And one more thing, if I even study with instrumentals of the song, I would still be doing a karaoke lol.

My bad habit is that I just can’t get over chatting ….like I do open a yt video for understanding and if at that moment a msg pop-ups it distracts me and make me lose my focus. I am an A garder but due to distractions my grades are going down and I really need guidance and self-control by watching ur videos I feel better and always find solutions to my study-related problems ….thanks a lot.

Hi Faye from the Gold Coast! I just started Year 12 content this week, so I’m heading into the most crucial year of my life so far, especially since I really want to study at the Uni of Melbourne. Definitely will need all your amazing study tips this year 🤍. I just have a small request… your videos are always uploaded at 11pm, and I love to catch them but when I’m up that late I’m probably procrastinating going to bed and likely ending up sleep deprived the next day. Could you perhaps upload an hour or even two hours early? No worries if that’s not possible, but it would be highly appreciated!
Either way THANK YOU, your videos always motivate me to continue working hard to achieve my goals ❤️
Oops sorry for the giant comment, just wanted to add: would love to see more vlogs, either for study or just in general!

You know my habit, I write down everything the teacher says LITERALLY. But this helps a lot since, after that one lecture I am never touching my textbook or notebook ever again. I write stuff down with a clear understanding and it STICKS. So, if you can write at turbo speed, I recommend it to you.

Haven’t even watched the full video yet, but the first tip is so useful. I’m definitely one of those people who gets so annoyed when my notes look messy or unorganized or if I mess up. I feel like I can’t keep up with lecture videos because they’re either going to slow or too fast and I can’t write down everything that I think is important (which seems to be everything at the time). I also had to switch to erasable pen in college because my professor would always mess up her math and I would have to scratch off my answers and it looked so messy. Very useful tip, thank you!

about the listening to music part, music can help you concertrate and focus, but depending on the music or song your are listening to. Basically, when i listen to rock or pop, or any this else, instead of focusing on my studies, i focused more on listening to the music and get myself distracted bobing my head, but whanever i listen to lofi, calming, or sound affects, i manage to have more focus on my studies, and the more i listened to musics, the more focus and concantration i had, for short, listening to music while studying, is a good habit, but it depends on the music or song you are listening to,
and also, this is just my opinion so please don't take is seriously, thank you!

what really helped me ( and what I definitely should start again ) was exercise.
Whenever I dont want to study, I go for a run/ do a pilates youtube workout.
I hate that too because Im lazy af but now your stuck in a cycle of doing something you hate less than the other thing and it forces you to study or at least be healthier.

    Hey besties! Hey Faye!!
There is this one tip i figured out about writing notes
Firstly i set a timer like 1hour or 2hours fir reading the lesson and associate different colour markers for different types of topic
    Fir example -
    Neon - definition
    Pink - example or reasonings
Orange - explanation of the definition
Normal pen - points to remember (i do it basically for MCQ and fill ups possibilities)
Then i go through the chapter exercises or sample paper for the particular chapter (you can also take reference from your class lecture)
Doing these will make you aware that what are the things that are really important for the chapter and which types of questions will come and also which topic is important for exam point of view.
Then firstly i scribble down my notes without refering anything (just keywords that i note down or sub-headings)
And then i see what i missed
After this whole process, i write my fair notes....
    Beleive me
You will know exactly what is important
You will be learning , practicing as well as writing your notes (it is inspired by you Faye...the blurting technique+notes )
This will save a lot of time no?
I also set timers for specific tasks which really pushes me to do a task more productively and fastly
Like i set a 2hour timer for sample papers (because it is the general timing for examinations too)
I will love if These tips will help you out or.....if you will mention it on your video 😁😁
    I'm from India BTW

Something that i personally struggle with is remembering things out of the blue. I tend to remember something I was curious about and search it on the web. Next thing you know I'm on youtube again. Or just getting on my phone and wandering on tiktok/instagram. I now do 25/5 increments so that I don't get too tired after reviewing for an hour. Thanks for this video, it helps a lot!

If you want to be organized physically is....
Put your books in one place if you want put your math textbook with the notebook and on top of that put English text book and so on but the books in a place were u can easily remember were you put in! It's you have those book organizers then ok but if u don't then Do what I told you :)
    Second....
This happens to me alot the I have incomplete work even tho I come to school regularly
So if u have that problem.....take some time free to check you notebooks tell you theacher to send pics of call the work they did and see those pics and see if u have done that too or u can tell your parents to check Ur notebooks to see if the work is complete :)
Oh and underline the most important thing in your text book :)
    And thankkkk yooooouu!!!💕💕🌻🌻🦋🦋🦋

9:55 I study in my bed and I have divided it in two different portion 2/3 is for studying and 1/3 is for sleeping
    (I'm short;)
I have a big table on my bed( on which I put the my phone, books ,stationary, to-do list and water bottle...exactly things which I'll use while studying today)
And then a small study table just in front of the table and then infornt of study table i sit and study peacefully
    .
Why I don't use some chair, study table or studying at floor?
