I bought a 2018 break out with the 114 and i ended up putting a wood's performance 22X cam in it along with a power vision by fuel Moto with a fuel Moto map for my set up along with a two brothers racing comp S series 2 into 1 exhaust and I honestly couldn't tell you where it tops out because I get scared. I've hit 130 in no time flat and it keeps pulling like a freight train.
That looks fun. I can't wait until springtime to ride. I bought a 2018 Fat Bob 114 for Christmas, all I can do is sit on it and wish it were summer! Call your bike Tank if you haven't already done so. I named mine Sir Beastly.
Nice vid as usual man, passed the MSF test last weekend , and I'm getting my gunner in a couple weeks! I know u said it might be a little heavy for a first bike but i can't resist lol I want to start with a bike i know i won't get bored with, and the gunner sure seems like endless fun haha and my vote is go with green monster, I'm from Boston so I'm a little bias.
I just started riding last year and my first bike is my gunner - i'm a 155 lb dude and have no trouble handling her. it took me a little getting used to at first but now riding her is like a dream. i did a nice 250 miler on the super slab this afternoon in perfect weather. you will not regret getting the gunner!!!
Nice thats awesome!! I'm 6'2, 190 so I'm thinking ill be fine, at this point its what my heart is set on so I'm just going to go for it. The only thing i was worried about was that victory shut down, but i heard there going to be making parts for at least another 10 years so I'm not going to let that influence my decision.

I have an 07 Victory Vegas Jackpot with the 100 cubic inch engine. The fastest I've been is 125 mph on the interstate and it was still pulling strong!!
I know you are partial to "Tank" I personally like "The Green Monster". Once you start doing upgrades it WILL be a Green Monster. Your bike should be governed somewhere between 120-130. My bike (Victoria Lynn Gunner) has had a few modifications done to the stock 106" engine. It will easily pull thru 140mph where I typically roll off the throttle. The speed rating on our bias tires is only good up to 130 or so. So until I get proper radial tires (have to go to 18" rims) I will not be able to max out on speed. Engine mods:- Torque Tube Intake system (Lloydz)- 49mm throttle body (Maxbore)- ported heads (Star Racing)- competition valve job (Star Racing)- oversized intake valves (Star Racing)- .495 cams (Lloydz)- high lift valve springs (S&S)- adjustable timing gear (Lloydz)- high compression pistons (10.4:1) (Lloydz)- Barnett clutch (spring, pressure plate & discs)- Trask "Hotrod" 2 into 1 exhaust system. - reflashed ECM- Power Commander 5 w/ auto tune module In the future I may also add:- underdrive pulley (Conquest Customs)- 1/4 turn throttle ring (Lloydz)- 116" or 129" big bore kit.
135 on my Night Rod equipped with full Rifle windshield and a fat guy. Haven't topped my King Pin out, yet. It has been 110 a couple of times. (again, full windshield and a fat guy)
Sad to see victory laid to rest. I used to ride hd and now ride vmax that is the first factory stock 10 sec quarter. The max must be ridden by any biker, if you don’t respect it you will after you feel the power
I've got a gunner, Octane, F6b, cbr500r and a Rune. The Octane is definitely quicker off the line, but I rarely go over 100 so I can't say which has a higher top speed. The cbr500r is slower. Just picked up the 2004 Honda rune. There's snow on the ground so I haven't ride it much yet. My F6b is probably similar to the rune, but rune is tuned better. I think the gunner and rune would be a close race. I'm not about top speed though. I'm too old for that. I'm about sound, feeling and looks. The rune and F6b sound like the porsche with their flat 6 motors. Nice videos. It helps get me through the winter.
Killakam it's funny, I traded a Vulcan S for the Octane. It was a nice looking bike but not much power and didn't sound that good. I put the victory 2into1 exhaust on the Octane which was also a stage 1. Sounds great but not too loud. I put x-bows on the gunner which is also stage 1. Sounds much better than stock. Keep the videos coming! Ride safe. Put some gear on.

I have a small bend in my front wheel. don't notice it till you hit 115. shakes like crazy. not bad for a 1200 Harley. I need to to fix that wheel man....
I have a gunner now, previous bike was CBR1000RR 04model speedo would Tapp out at 299k at 11200 rpm and would rev to 12000 rpm so that would 310 to 320 kph in mph would 200mph 😁so just wondering what CBR1000RR vou have 👍
Love the videos brother lookin at a '15 Gunner at the moment too. A lot of talk on forums about stalling on these things when you " blip " the throttle. Any trouble with her, so far?
John Ramirez my 14 highball did that, it was a recall on the fuel pump I believe. It only did it to me 3 times in the 2 years i rode it though. And ya for someone reason when you blip it at a red light is when it would do it, other than that never had a problem with it
John Ramirez I had it happen to me a couple times on my 2015 and it was when I blipped to go down a gear. First time it happened, I pulled over and restarted. 2nd time, just pulled clutch, hit the starter and kept going. Notice it more when going into 2nd or 1st. I can occasionally feel it want to stall, but that is infrequent. Still love the bike!
My 2011 victory is not stock but with doing up grades myself less than $1K best bike best performance I have had on any of the dozen bikes I have had Hands down
Hey what so u thank about the 2 restrictions on the Kawasaki Vulcan s 650 the one with the gas feed throttle grew that keeps it going from wide open and on the left side where the key is that little thing you pop out supposed to be a bug that you can pull out and that is another restriction it has a loop wire on it just thought I'd ask you what you thought about it or if you know anything about it I hear it has lot more power if you do them too thank you you're the man

My vote is with "The Tank". Not sure about a faster cruiser. Had a Triumph 650 years and years ago that would do 105, but shook like crazy at that speed. My first ride was a mini-bike with a racing go-kart engine. It would do 95 easy, but that fast, that close to the ground was nuts !! I was 14 and loved it :)) Was also the source of my first wreck, Hah.
I hope you do go to a track! There they will show you the importance of quality gloves and jacket. Hopefully you had a helmet. Because doing a ton on rural two line roads is ALWAYs the safest way to travel. At 70mph over 100 ft. per sec,80 is almost 120, 90is 132, 100 is approaching 150. And on rural roads no one ever pulls out of a driveway. Hope you make it to a track, the education will help you live and ride longer!
I understand that it’s not the smartest move. I lived in Florida and honestly it would be too hot for me to wear a jacket all the time. I generally would always rock the helmet and some gloves. Appreciate the sarcasm ❤️

love my 2017 highball. so I know this video is a little older but thought is chime in. my M109 is faster for sure. The Vrod is faster then my 109 not off the line but soon after very soon after and the Vrod is faster then our Victory's too. That's about the only Harley in stock form that can beat our bikes and that is pretty much to day. With that said I would never get rid of my highball love it too much. Engines are solid very good design. nice video. can I ask what your recording on? What Mic. are you wearing full face and is Mic inside? I left my bike stock until now,well I've bought radiant cycles go shorty mufflers to hold me over until I can get a proper 2 into 1. I have ordered some thunder volt 8.2 mm wires, thirdgear customs intake and dynojets power-vision tuner from fuelmoto. I was going to get a maximus but wanted to be able to monitor data channels as I ride.
You'll want to use the Maximus tuner from techno research. Without changing anything internally the Dyno guy got me to 118.75 ft lbs of torque. I do have a proformance exhaust and air cleaner but that's it. I really had it dyno'd to smooth out 1st & 2nd gear, but damn that extra torque is fun. Plus averaging 46.5 mpg. good luck with yours.
Stay out of 6th for the top speed pulls. 6th is basically overdriven. I believe stock has a rev limiter which will stop you around 122. Throw a cam job on and who knows. I've seen 130 in 4th maybe it was 5th either way was still pulling hard and backed out bc of the road. For about 2k you'll add I wanna say about 30hp 20ftlbtq. Look up The Vic Shop on fb

Het a maximus or pc visioncx and have them take the rev limiter and gov off and youll go alot faster. Also can do your run in 5th and get more out of it than that

California edition Victory Vegas Premium, 100ci, 6 spd, After market high flow filter, Power programmer 3 mapped by me in spreadsheet on pc, Victory perfomance exhaust. Bought it for 8k with 9kmi on it. I bought this bike because I didnt want to buy a brand and chaps then weekend ride. Helmets are great but you really need the other gear. I know it's not my place to tell riders what to wear but when you do crash you are going to wish you had it. Dress for the crash and not the bike.
Definitely - better to have a decent pair of gloves than suffer a de-gloving injury & lose the use of one's hands. Don't google that if you're eating! :-)

I've had my stock 05 vegas 8ball to 124 with the 92" 5 speed, wonder why they did that in the later years? Mine still wanted more throttle, I didnt.

My 2015 Magnum after being tuned did 145 on the Dyno. The Vic's make killer power if you have a good Dyno guy available.

how fast well basically they are set at 120mph from factory so if you arent running a tuner thats all you get the end

You would love it. And if you ever do. You have to stay in those gears up to redline or just before redline to feel that powerband at 6k
Helmets are great but you really need the other gear. I know it's not my place to tell riders what to wear but when you do crash you are going to wish you had it. Dress for the crash and not the bike.
Definitely - better to have a decent pair of gloves than suffer a de-gloving injury & lose the use of one's hands. Don't google that if you're eating! :-)

Well, Polaris had not put the Programmed fuel management system in the Victory line and the Honda has a bigger motor so yes it should beat the gunner.
