I am getting the PD, but I feel you with why you want Aviators. I'm retired and my career days are over, so this is my hobby in retirement, and I love it. I spend lots of money on peripheral's, VR, and thinking about getting a DOF motion simulator. I went to the flight sim convention in Vegas in June with my wife and found out there are alot of people just like me. I don't miss many days from flying.
Going to do the same as with FS20. And just get the standard version. As i hardly visit the same places often anyways, airports are not a massive deal. And as for planes, the best ones usually are third party that gets added later. I realise a lot of the FS24 planes are originally 3rd party, but most are pretty much middle to low fidelity planes. And also, just screw those tiers with content that gets cut from the base game in order to sell them as "premium" just to stuff up the price.

I'll wait with buying until there is moreinfo on individual plane pricing, how the additional planes interact with career mode etc. I like to have Heathrow and Schiphol as premium ports. I do like many of the Aviator bundle planes too. If you can get access to them in Carrer mode, I might go for the Aviator set, certainly if those planes normally kost 10/20+ euros per plane.
The aircraft in the Premium Deluxe Edition is what i'm interested in, so I don't really need anything above that. I just need to know what airfields are going to be in the Aviator Edition. Before any of that though, I need to see what the performance will be like, so I'll wait a few days before buying.
