@@sdmoller Yes, It tows well. A little brake is used on tow to prevent it overtaking the tug. I needs good thermal lift, but if you find it, it thermals well with a little flap.

If you choose this one for soaring I would make it an FES (motor in the front) which will not add much weight to this model as there is a bit of lead in the nose to balance her. I believe she is about 14 lbs ready to fly that is with (2) 2200 mAh 2S LiFe batteries up front too.
I have had my current ASH26 since 2006. Absolutely superb model.
Ever use it for thermal? I had some one asking how it would do. I use mine only for slope, and it is fast.
