That was a high-speed stall (moderate speed), I recovered the nose attitude quickly BUT Le Fish doesn't instantly get a re-flow/reconnection of airflow over its wings. I understand it coming from a harrier roll stall because the airspeed is so low on exit. I think because Le Fish is monocoted directly over foam, that surface is slightly dimpled, so it doesn't recover instantly like a smooth winged sailplane. I've always noticed that, it bit me this time.
    All good though: easy fix!

I don't have one but It looks like an AHI is the better glider. Yes though, I love my Le Fish. Thanks for the Complement and yeah... Get back at it! lol

I took a LONG break from flying, like... 35 years. Bought myself an Ahi and a radio, that thing went together in about 30 minutes and it's a blast to fly. Get one... You won't regret it.

@@sf1203 Ha ha that's what I tell everybody... get an AHI. I don't have one yet but it's an obvious want. Thanks for the comment! :)

@@robertshaver4432 lol, I misread that! Can you do a complete rolling circle? The last quarter will be a challenge for sure! Always welcome brother!

@@mikesrcgaragePowered planes Yes, Gliders? Hmm I'll give it a shot. If I have altitude and can lose some within the maneuver, Definitely yes.
Do you mean a harrier rolling circle? Hmm I'll try that too but obviously much altitude will be lost in the process.
Challenge accepted on both counts, sounds like fun! lol
I've done flying rolling horizontal eights without losing much altitude but that's in running through the lift zone twice in the process.
I've maybe got one decent day in the forecast in-between a lot of upcoming rainy days.
      Cheers my Brother: Robert

@@robertshaver4432 Yes with gliders on slope, just a rolling circle without the 3d harrier high alpha attitude, aileron rolls flying at any speed or any direction hence circle or a rolling loop ect. I have seen it done with 3d slope gliders and I have only done it with my warmliner electric gliders myself not on slope. But it looks cool! I think downwind coming at yourself will be very tricky on slope... Lol! But I think you can do it!

@@mikesrcgarageI'll give it a shot. You know... the last 90 degrees is just in your head, keep the sticks going as before and ignore the adrenalin caused brain fade. It is hard to get over but confidence prevails. Never tried it with a sailplane though. Well see. Cheers: Robert

Ha ha, That's almost my newest radio. I still use my 72 band radios, They're perfectly safe now because I'm the only one using them lol. Ever heard of an Airtronics Championship series radio? From the 1980's and still going strong. Glad you enjoyed my video! Thank you for your comment.
