Thank you. We get a few days a month where we have really good wind like there. Other days it's in the 6-8 mph and not always straight on. Then only light things can fly and it more of just slowly cruising around.
Oh yes that is a bit of a distance. I didn't know you moved. Well if you are ever out here to visit your old stomping grounds. Take care, and Happy new years. :-)
there is something about free flight as opposed to powered flight that makes it graceful elegant and at one with its surroundings, it seems natural and effortless like an albatross soaring on thermals, it's just nice to see. .
@@Jinntsai I did not install a servo for the wheel break. It’s rare that I land that far up on the hill. The ground is very rough too. Sometimes I don’t even use the LG as the ground destroys them.
As always, great sailplanes, great flying and great video. Hope to visit you this year at Torrey Pines.
Awesome, please let me know when you have dates. I'd like to make sure I'm there.
So awesome!!!!!
Dream slope !! Nice flying guys
Thank you 🙂
Awesome slope soaring and great landings
Ah yes, the glass slippers.
They do paint a pretty picture, don't they?
🙂
Wow, amazing footage and flying

Great video Thomas! That looks like a lot of fun!
Thanks Chad. One of these days you should come out and see it. Sunday is possible another great wind day. Should be there about noon.
@@sdmoller it would be a bit of a drive from Texas 🤣

nicely said... Yes agree
That’s not free flight; it’s radio controlled of course. Just unpowered for propulsion. Free flight means no guidance. Not trying to be snarky
First!! Another great video Thomas and congrats on your new ASH-26. Steffen’s Antares is a beauty too.
Thank you Ray. Next for me is to finish the 6m ASH in between all of Aaron & Steffen's projects.....
Superb thx for posting.
Thank you. 🙂
Been there! Done that!😁
