- Supermodel Gisele Bundchen recently returned to her native country of Brazil for National Geographic's "Years of Living Dangerously" and witnessed the destruction of its rainforest, bringing her to tears: ”You can’t just keep taking and taking and think it’s going to be here forever,” she tells TODAY. Giselse also talks about parenting with husband Tom Brady and reveals which of them is the disciplinarian in the family.

TEMER U.S INFORMANT FROM 2006 &THE FBI JUDGE SERGIO MORO!
She has an amazing message and a reason for being there today. So why do the hosts talk about the Amazon for a few minutes and then abruptly switch to her personal life (People magazine, Tom Brady, etc.)??? I don't get this. The whole segment is all but 4 minutes, so give the topic more time, will you? We all know as much about her personal life as we should, her visit the the studio will not become less interesting if you DON'T switch to "what-everyone-REALLY-tuned-in-for" mode.
Having said that - Giselle Bundchen is awesome.

I embrace the Amazon rainforest and it is extremely important to raise awareness about the illegal deforestationdue to the meat industry! She is speaking for us all. TO all those people saying she is doing this only for the fame of good girl. She helped A LOT in Brazil, even if she doesn't live here anymore. She is just a discreet person who doesn't boast about these things. But if you look for it, you'll find it. She helped to relive a few rivers in Rio Grande do Sul, her home estate. She donates millions to Brazilian charities. All the proceedings to her book goes to charity. That woman helps so much Brazil, it's impossible to fit in one post. So do better research before doing fast judgement on the internet.
Granted, yes, those are valid points but can you tell me why she still flies on a private jet, has homes all over the world and a four storey apartment in new York that would require major heating expenditure in winter? There are people such as Berta Carceres who have actually died in their protection of the environment. I 'm not saying she should go to those extremes but I wish that environmental protectors such as Carcers and others who face assassination get more credit for their work, too. I know no-one is perfect and please don't write back saying I 'm jealous and judgemental - the issue of corporations and big money is a massive, massive factor in environmental pollution and corruption. yes, she is doing a somewhat good job but there are others who are less high profile who have put their lives on the line - but Berta Carcers wasn't tall, slim and beautiful and not instantly recognizable. we need more coverage of people such as her and, for example, the Lanka people she tried to protect before her murder

Random but I remember a while back people never understood how Leonardo DiCaprio & Gisele dated...Yet if you really look at both of them..I can see how Gisele & Leonardo were together for many years..They are both very passionate about the same things...Specifically with the earth & taking care of the environment..Not to mention organic farming too..They are both right though..We only have one earth we gotta start taking care of it at some point..Honestly I think corporate greed will always win unfortunately...
Yeah they first visited the Amazon together iin 2003/2004 which they have both said they became inspired by environmental causes after that trip.

Stupid is your comment. She lives in the United States does not mean that she does not love Brazil. She lives there because of work, children and husband, but every year she is in Brazil to visit her relatives, to spend holidays and work in the Amazon. She has a great contact with Brazil, she teaches Portuguese, the history of Brazil for her children to have contact with Brazil.
