- If you have experienced a knee injury, or even have had knee surgery, working out or exercising can be more challenging. Luckily, Lauren was able to come up with a quick yoga flow that was made for people with sensitive knees, or anyone who cannot bear weight on their knees. This flow can also be beneficial for someone looking for a low impact flow or someone who would like a mostly recumbent position. I had a left knee scope last month due to a fall at track 7 months ago and I hadn’t really been able to do anything without hurting my knee but this felt so good! At the end I was actually able to fully straighten my knee and it brought me to happy tears. Thank you so much for this!

This video and your earlier knee injury class are heaven sent. Feeling my body work even as the knee is protected. Is there any way you'd consider a longer knee injury workout, maybe 1/2 hour - 45 minutes? It would be so deeply appreciated! Thank you for finding a way to help keep me and others in practice!

I am 3 weeks out from ACL and meniscus repair surgery and have been doing only chair yoga. I tried this as my first foray back into "real" yoga, encouraged by the title. Unfortunately most of it was inappropriate for post-op since there was a lot of knee bending throughout - my knee isn't there yet. I liked Lauren's style though and hope to try her classes again later in my recovery.
This is great for me as I've had Tibial Plateau Fracture surgery. I'm 10 weeks PO and 7 weeks non weight bearing - so this is absolutely what I need. Thank you. There's a lot of us out there who did yoga before our injury - and need gentle sessions to get started again.

This is great! I noticed I had been doing a lot of squats with my workouts and warm ups. This is such a wonderful alternative to save my knees!

Thing about this class is, assuming I have managed to get myself onto the floor in the first place, how exactly was I supposed to get back up again without getting on my knees? Maybe that should be included? My solution was to do it in bed.
Nice, but keep in mind a lot of people post surgery (TKR or PKR) within the first 4-6 weeks might not be able to keep their knee bent in the first set of poses you've got going. Modifications are fine.
