Knowing that Ethan was her guardian angel all along, helping her the best he could makes it even more sad but happy that he has always been there to protect his daughter even when he wasn’t around.

I'm so glad the Ending makes so much more sense now since they teased it at the end of 8.
Such a sad thought about Ethan. They made him such a loving father that many people only have dreamt they could have.

Always wondered how Rose can say she has abilities even Chris doesn’t know. This DLC just answered that. Nicely done.
Now I'm curious of what happen to Mia since she said she hasn't seen her in a long time. To bad we probably won't get a answer as this dlc is the end of the winters saga.
@Cop Anders well during the dlc it seem she been living with chris. Since he even went to her school to talk to the teacher about roses "condition". But there are many things that need answering. Shoot there questions left for revelations 1 and 2 also.

@@atomic747 read the resident evil wiki of Mia, it was mentioned there that Mia did raise Rose but Chris took custody of her when she's 17 so she seldom sees her mother.

One of the most emotional endings I’ve ever witnessed. It was so cool to finally “see” Ethan after getting to know him over the last two games.

Well shit, that got me crying...again. Ethan really pulls at the heart strings in both Village and this DLC. Wow, this was an absolutely phenomenal game in every sense and Ethan will forever be by Roses side and in our hearts. Wow wow wow! Where's the damn tissues..... While Capcom said this DLC will conclude the winters saga I totally agree with that Rose’s story and adventures aren’t over yet so we’re definitely going to see her again perhaps later than sooner though but Rose keeping her powers will make her a valuable asset in future I kinda like to see her go toe to toe with a tyrant next time like Nemesis how cool would that be
i wouldnt mind playing as rose in a new resident evil game that would be cool also with the includid powers

For a split second, I thought we were finally going to get an answer to the person walking on the road ahead of Rose's vehicle and it would turn out to be Ethan all along, bravo Hollow!

One thing I've noticed is Ethan doesn't use his pistol for the monsters at the end because he gave his pistol to Rose at the beginning. It's great attention to details!
This should be horror game right? But.. I was crying all the time with that ethan and rose's scenes. Damn! Ethan is the best dad! I can say he's my fave RE protagonist. This is good for DLC!

I think anyone with at least half a brain could have deduced that it was Ethan since the very beginning, tbh.
When I started this dlc I not expecting it to bring out emotion in me, well played Capcom
When I watch this, Rose looks very lost, she has nowhere to go or look for a way out, but I know that Ethan is not easy to pretend to be her Guardian Angel, Michael to be. Even when they make mistakes but rely on the best, there is always hope, Rose you are not alone.

"Amazing" love resident evil so much it's a game that has been with us for so long. And each time it gets better and better. Saw all three uploads today thanks Hollow for the uploads. I will never get tried of resident evil it has to much history since the 90s and all the way till now. My favorite characters are Leon and Chris, but Ethan forget it love this guy and his story in resident evil.
Finally Rose love herself for being who she is and meets her dad physically or just in memories. Her story reminds me of one song. "Dad is gone... and she needs someone." 😭😭😭
For me Village and DLC with Rose is the best from far away of legacy RE. ❤

This just brings more and more hype towards the next main game of resident evil knowing that rose is full on board with Chris's team and considering that she has even more power over the mold she definitely is gonna be there for a lot of the future re games maybe not as the mc but as a really important side character

I think the reason why Ethan exists is because Rose exist. She has the power to control the megamycete, where Ethan's consciousness is currently inside of. However, Ethan, because he's tied to the megamycete, needs power inorder to continue existing. Without Rose choosing to live with her powers, Ethan might've never appeared in the ending scene.
This probably ties into the potential R.E: 9 revolving around their reunion. The journey in finding a solution for the mold and to revive her father. His body is destroyed, but his will lives on. They just have to find where he is in the vast consciousness of the mold then create a body.
The ending of the game would probably leave a few traces of the mold around the globe, to which Rose will have to take care of, thus continuing the series. In later sequels, she will probably play a HUGE role, judging by her powers and relations.

@@NicerNine there is no clear identification, that he really IS alive. Judging from that torso alone, it could have been almost anyone. He could be alive, cuz he is still in the consciousness of the megamycite, but if it isn’t stated anywhere, you have to label everything as a speculation, and not take it as a fact. If he was in fact alive and living amongst mortals, why would Rose talk with his grave, and not communicate with him face to face.
@@NicerNine also, did you ever hear about symbolism in any media??? It’s commonly used in books, plays, games, movies etc. Also, from this shot alone it really looks like it was just added for sentimental effect :)
@@velbloud5443 Modders used a free camera to find out that the figure is Ethan. The only counter arguments then are it's a reused asset meant to be someone else or that Rose was seeing things. But the fact that Capcom put that scene in again after all those "Ethan's alive theories" makes it all obvious. Also did you miss the whole point of the ring? Did that just fly over your head somehow?

The end scene repeating is to drive home that “I was always watching over you”from Ethan. And the we have an open shot was because how she roughed up the guy. They were gonna put her down because she is a threat but he said he could handle her because she’s just a kid.

Did anyone else see the flaw here. Miranda basically said Rose was too powerful and tricked her into giving up her power but when Rose gets her power back Miranda is like 'Good luck defeating me'

DLC was a trip wish I could’ve experience it but who knows maybe In the next dlc we can see Ethan Face finally, hopefully we do I love 7 and Village so much, as you were saying Hollow! 7 was done beautifully and can’t wait more of Villages DLCs. Maybe it’s Mia’s Turn for the next dlc
My heart breaks for Rose! Poor Ethan, I took a huge liking to him. Wonder if Rose and Chris will be working together on the next RE?? Or involving them both,
I feel like we aren't going to see Rose after this and going backwards in the timeline for re9. Though we also got a lot of questions that need answering because of 8, like what is the BSAA doing making bioweapons and I feel chris should have figure something out during those 16 years while watching over Rose.
