I completely agree with the knotless braids comment. I am used to the traditional braids and noticed in the take down there would often be a lot more breakage and matted hair which I would loose a lot of hair from. But I tried knotless braids and it basically slipped right out and didn’t have half as much build up and breakage.

    • @afrolique

Yesss! Knotless braids are 10x better!

You are a beautiful person! My style is always two strand twist out since I went natural 2 years ago. Now that it is growing I can style the twists & still be cute. After 2 years I have gone from pixie undercut to back bone lenght. I can't flat twist...have to practice. Love your advice on the direction to wash your hair. I agree manyyyy stylist from my experience don't know how to do natural hair. Thank you....great video! 💐

I can not trust most stylist, they’ve done more damage to my hair and I’m sure that if I continued going to them, my hair would not be where it is today.

Aloe vera gel straight from the leaf is SO great to use for laying down edges! It is 100% natural and helps your hair grow also!

@@vitushka01 I buy a leaf from the grocery store, cut it open and the gel is right there. I just dip my fingers in it and apply to my hair. You will notice your edges regrowing hair also.

I have been plaiting my hair to grow it because the plaits stay better than twists. I keep them in 4-6 weeks at a time , letting it get wet in the shower. I put shea butter cream onthe length and spray the roots with aloe….i massage my scalp almost daily…what do you think…?

I'm so so so so glad I found your channel! Would you mind creating a video about the "awkward" length phase and how you got passed it? I love cornrows for now since my hair is short at the moment. But I will explore flat twists! It is easier to lose your hair than grown and retain! I 100% have experienced this SOOO many times O_O
