Blow drying helps my hair retain length too. I became a blow dry natural about 4 months ago and I’m FINALLY seeing some length retention after 3 years of being natural. Heat is not damaging if you use proper technique. Great video!
So, I guess white woman who have naturally curly hair shouldn’t straighten their hair or wear straight hair extensions because it’s unrealistic. You sound dumb it’s just a style period. People have curly hair and straight hair.
I noticed also that when I braided my hair while damp... there was a LOT of shedding when I took them down. Then I started blow drying my hair b4 braiding & noticed the shedding was a lot less👍 Easier to braid when dry also..not too much pulling. Your hair looks nice & healthy
This is so true! Finally a UA-camr stating what you have to do. My hair is “long” and it’s because I leave my hair alone! STOP touching your hair ladies. Low manipulation is key! Have you ever got braids and take them out after 2 months and your hair grew ? I thought this was common knowledge. Protective styling is the MAJOR key as well. People think I have no hair because I wear protective styles even hair dressers give me a hard time because my hair is so full and long. ( which I find hypocritical because if your bold they have something to say too but that’s a story for a different day) Find a hair dresser that works with natural hair and encourages you. Also you don’t need a million products. Just shampoo, a deep conditioner, moisturizer, a detangler to help with breakage and pain and oil. I just started doo grow as well. That’s it. Everyone’s hair is different so only you can know how often you need to wash and use these simple products. Also little to no heat. And only trim your hair 1 or 2 times a year. Please keep in mind that genetics play apart as well.

Keyword wigs. I found out that just low manipulation, braids or a twist under my wings after I wash it moisturize has made my hair grown so long I’m so happy when I pull my braids out to see the hair growth each time it’s time to wash my hair I’m retaining so much hair and the length is amazing I’m so proud glad I found out about wigs more importantly making sure that when I do my wigs I don’t tear up my edges just popper removal as well. You know what’s so strange.I followed so many natural hair you tubers for about 4 years and used so many different products. My hair would grow but I always had a difficult time retaining length because I always had a problem with split ends.I would always moisturize my hair deep condition and just the whole 9 for my hair. After 4 years of trying to get longer healthier hair I gave up and started texturizing. It’s so weird because my hair actually felt a lot better after being texturized. It was really manageable and extra soft.My hair is still kinky just stretched my hair retains moisture a lot better now and now that I finally found a whole hair care line that my hair loves I feel like I can finally be able to achieve healthy hair again.
I keep my hair tucked away. Under either a pretty head wrap or a wig. You can not manipulate your hair everyday and expect growth spurts. I am relaxed and my hair is bra strap. I trim 3 times a year. Only when I relax. My black rice water treatments promote my hair growth. 4C high porosity. It loves protein and Blue Magic. I keep my hair plated and well moisturized. I also use a leave in.
Beautiful hair and skin routine tutorial is needed! You should definitely get a trim so the hair isn’t breaking up the shaft. You don’t want your ends to be thinner than roots. It’ll leave that stringy looking hair look.
Omggg I do the exact thing . I first noticed that my hair grew out a lot when I use to get sew ins but the thread made it a little bit thinner just a little but I stopped before it could get worse lol thennnn I got it dye blonde but the lady did my whole head instead of just the tips like I asked it was gorgeous but I only wanted the ends bc I didn’t know how to take care of it ( I had been leaving my hair in sew ins bc it grew more when I left it alone to do it thing lol ) so it started breaking off I now do LCO method and trim my ends and it’s already past the length it was before breaking off so yesss I definitely suggest try wearing wigs and moisturizing your braids underneath . 🌻🌻🌻✨
Your hair is so cute with the 4 braids to put under your wig! My hair is way too thick to only do 4 braids under my wig so this’ll never work for me haha
Lol thank you 😊 and you don’t have to do 4 braids, you can do however many you need for a flat look.. I just do 4 bc that what works for me ya know and plus I’m lazy lol 😆 sometimes I do more than 4 but majority of the time I’m doing it this way lol
Great video, an important point to always remember is your head, your scalp, this is where all the Magic happens, Growth, hair growing. Hair strands are dead, the follicle inside the bulb in the base of our scalp is what needs to stay healthy in order to keep reproducing new hair growth. The strands of hair are literally dead. 🌺
I just keep my braids in for 3 months. I only added water to my hair and oiled my ends to not get build up. (Sometimes I oiled my braid but not my scalp). I used to do once a month but the longer I keep it in the more length I retained. You can spray yourself hair with ACV to prevent build up. My hair is fine and I was worried about matting like with single braids but it was fine.
True sis you hair grows long when you leave it alone but make sure when doing the hairstyle you don't pull too much and your take down process is not too much like down pull and have a healthy hair regime then you hair will grow

So I finally caught up with more of your videos and see you’re doing the TYMO brand. 🙃 I’m so late. Lol But I’ll stick with your sister’s Revlon. My hair is BIG enough, so I don’t need the added volume the TYMO would add. Thank you for sharing your process with us!!
I’ve done the same routine for like years and have very similar looking hair. Unfortunately, I flat ironed my own hair (did NOT know what I was doing) and caused severe heat damage. 💔💔 I was at waist length going for tailbone as well. Now I’m just gonna trim off about 2 inches every 2 months and wear wigs for about a year. Hopefully that fixes it…
I oil my scalp every week or week and a half whenever it’s time for me to reapply my wig and then I remoisture my hair every 3 to 4 weeks when it’s time to wash my hair again and do those steps all over again.
How long do you keep your hair braided underneath the wig before taking it out and redoing it? Also do you wash and condition your hair while braided and if so, how often? Thank you! I’d really appreciate it, I’m starting my hair journey next week after extreme hair loss and traction alopecia.
my hair broke off bad, I am a natural hair girl, so for a time my hair was long but not anymore because now I’m starting to learn how to do my hair on my own especially bc of heat damage my hair is really short. I need to know something, how often do you wash your hair and how often do you blow dry your hair? Am asking because some people say it isn't good to blow-dry our hair every month...
I think it depends on the heat temp. I used to think the same but I blow dry my hair to make it easier to do and I still have my curl patterns. I wash my hair every 3-4 weeks

I’m glad you mentioned this as well because my hair was like the lady in the video 2 years ago and last year I noticed my hair kept shedding due to me combing it and then putting it in braids. I definitely will be blowing drying more from now on.
You are so right about blowing the hair out then braid. I use the same dryer by Revlon.
Yep! I feel that definitely helps with the shedding in a way.
From me dry it did not matter it still grew. But I let my hair dry on my way to Snail because it allows me to make my wig flatter when I have it mostly dry or close to being dry.
Guys I can confirm the oil she's using works so well I decided to shave all my hair off 2018 and in two years my hair is shoulder length definitely recommend
Yes!! 🙌🏾 I swear by this stuff lol
What oil is it please? As I believe there’s 2 different types. Thanks x

Her texture is everything😍😍😍
Even when I wear a wig for only a month and take it out I can see growth so she ain't lying 💗
🙌🏾
I love that blow dryer!! Usually I let my hair air dry, but that brush dryer is my go to when I don't want my hair wet 👏👏👏
Yep I love using a brush blow dryer. 🙌🏾
Same my hair is thriving texturized
Lmao I didn't even notice the mirror until you pointed it out and now I can't stop focusing on it 😭😭😭
😩😂😂 I’m sorry! Had to point it out before somebody else tried too lol
Girl you been pumping the videos OUT! OK CONSISTENCY! 🤪💃🏾
Yes! 😆🙌🏾💕 just got a lot of new equipment so it’s time to get it in!!
@@FabulousBre get it in boo!
Beautiful hair and skin routine tutorial is needed!
You should definitely get a trim so the hair isn’t breaking up the shaft. You don’t want your ends to be thinner than roots. It’ll leave that stringy looking hair look.
Yes definitely, I like to trim my hair 2 times a year and I did trim my ends when I straightened my hair last month.
I have been wearing wigs for 2 years and my hair grow so muuuuch !!!
Fabulous Bre yea I know, I wear wigs lol I was just saying that basically you’re lucky to only have to do 4 braids under yours! I could never 😩
Great video, an important point to always remember is your head, your scalp, this is where all the Magic happens, Growth, hair growing.
Hair strands are dead, the follicle inside the bulb in the base of our scalp is what needs to stay healthy in order to keep reproducing new hair growth. The strands of hair are literally dead. 🌺
Your voice is so relaxing to listen to
That’s a first 😆
Wearing my hair under wigs def helped a lot
Hey Bre I just started wearing wigs. How often are you washing your hair under the wigs? Like every month or every couple of weeks?
Hey what’s up 🤗 and I wash my hair every 3 weeks
Ok. Thank you
@@FabulousBre hello ,do u wash ur hair with the braids are do u take them down and do more? And if so how often do u rebraid ur hair?
Just asking, do you blow dry your hair whenever you wash it? And have you ever flat ironed your hair? If yes, how often do you do it?
I just keep my braids in for 3 months. I only added water to my hair and oiled my ends to not get build up. (Sometimes I oiled my braid but not my scalp).
I used to do once a month but the longer I keep it in the more length I retained. You can spray yourself hair with ACV to prevent build up. My hair is fine and I was worried about matting like with single braids but it was fine.
Your hair is the gorgeous bomb! It looks so healthy, long, and well tamed!
Thank you for the tip to dry the hair before braiding.....trully game changer
My new hair crush 💁🏽♀️😍😍😍
🙋🏽♀️😆💕
True sis you hair grows long when you leave it alone but make sure when doing the hairstyle you don't pull too much and your take down process is not too much like down pull and have a healthy hair regime then you hair will grow
Found the blow dryer brush- it’s Revlon. Definitely need this in my life. Revlon needs to be a sponsor of yours bc I’m definitely buying this ☺️.
So I finally caught up with more of your videos and see you’re doing the TYMO brand. 🙃 I’m so late. Lol
But I’ll stick with your sister’s Revlon.
Hopefully that fixes it…
i’ve heard oplex helps
Girrlll Your hair is beautifullll God bless you !
Thank you ☺️
Love this video . Some ppl wear damaged hair under wigs. You provided simple and great tips
Thank you 🤗
Your hair is beautiful. I let mine air dry completely before braiding. It takes a long time but for me, it's smooth without the heat.
Your hair is so beautiful, I love how gentle and patient you are with it 💖.
How often do you remoisturize while wearing wigs? This is my first hair growth challenge I feel will work for me.🤗🤗🤗🤗
Ff
I oil my scalp every week or week and a half whenever it’s time for me to reapply my wig and then I remoisture my hair every 3 to 4 weeks when it’s time to wash my hair again and do those steps all over again.
Wait but you’re so beautiful tho 😍
Awww thanks! ☺️💕
finally, someone with little thin, skinny braids like mine.
Great job, you take good care of your hair, your hair is very healthy and long. Thanks for sharing. Black girl Magic 🔥
Finally a real simple hair care low mainteanance protected style video thanx you?
I like to keep things as simple as possible 🙌🏾
Im claiming it to the grace of God,when i take this braids my hair will be this long.
🙏🏾
How long do you keep your hair braided underneath the wig before taking it out and redoing it? Also do you wash and condition your hair while braided and if so, how often? Thank you! I’d really appreciate it, I’m starting my hair journey next week after extreme hair loss and traction alopecia.
my hair broke off bad, I am a natural hair girl, so for a time my hair was long but not anymore because now I’m starting to learn how to do my hair on my own especially bc of heat damage my hair is really short. Now I wanna start wearing wigs just for the sake of protecting my hair and for growth, and I’m gonna start changing things up so I can get my long again, I love your video and it’s one step to growth in my hair, so thank you so much!!!!!!
You’re so welcome! 🤗 yes practice protective styling whether it’s wigs, braids. Etc. whatever works for you do that for a min. And you will see a drastic change in your hair 🙌🏾
@@FabulousBre my cousin is gonna do protein treatment for my hair, so everything will be alright!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I believe my sister grew her hair out doing this SAME routine!!! 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 I know I experience the same hair thangs you expressed in this video with my hair. I have been coming to terms that my hair needs to be touched less. I will and am listening to accepting my hair and how to care for it. CUZ, bluejazzle, I KNOW my hair will grow. 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄 I - REFUSE - 2 - GO - BACK - PERM (wish I had a good emoji for this one🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣). Thank you for being SO honest about this. Although your texture is different (as in looser, prominent definition when wet), I am glad to find another youtuber with long, similar hair features goes through some relatable hair thangs. 🤗🤗🤗🤗 Great video
❌🚫🙅🏾♀️... emojis for refusing to go back to perm 😅
I love your hair length 🙂 I been growing my hair for 3 years but I want it to keep growing healthy and longer.
Yes ma’am!! That Doo-Gro oil is the truth! 💯
This video was so so helpful. Simple yet effective routine wow thank you so much hun👏🏽😍
Glad that I was able to do that! 🤗💕 thanks so much for the love!
Your real hair is pretty!!…. I want mine that same length! I think mine is upper mid back right now I haven’t straighten my hair in a LOOOONG time.. braids and wigs is what I mostly wear…. I loooooove that OLIVE 🫒 OIL ORS STUFF it keeps my hair moisturized I wish I could find it in a BIG container… my hair loves that stuff!!
Can’t wait for my hair gets this long
How often do you trim your hair? You and your hair are beautiful by the way!
Thanks! And I like to trim my hair 1 to 2 times a year
How often do you do this? I have been doing this same exact method for years and my hair has grown but I feel like barely 💀I’m going to try “twists” under my wig and for regular maintenance. Just subscribed! ❤️
Thanks for becoming apart of the #fabfamily 🤗 and this routine I normally do it once or twice a month depending on how bad my hair is itching lol then I’ll do the whole routine over again.
Hair is gorgeous wow and so shiny.
What oil treatments would you recommend for me? I just did a video on touching up my great hair and need a really good oil treatment.
🌴 Oh my goodness, your hair texture is Just Like Mines!!! I never saw any1 with my with a texture like mines !!! 😊
I love you hair in these braids alone! I’m going to have to try this
I liked the video before watching cause sis I love you
😂😂💓💓
Omg! 😆🙌🏾 thank you! Lol I really appreciate the love 💕
Great information 👍🏽. How often do you blow dry and do this entire routine? And what do you do in between blow drying…. Beautiful 😍
How often are you taking the braids down, washing and braiding? Did I miss that part?
I take them down whenever my head starts to itch really bad.. that could be from a week to 2 weeks. Just all depends on how my scalp feels.. lol
Your skin looks flawless! You should do a skin care video😊
Hey beautiful I was wondering where you got that hair net from been looking for one thanks and is it for protecting your hair from frizz ?
How often do you remoisturise your hair weekly, and do you deep condition after u wash ur braids while wearing wigs
I only oil my scalp every week to keep my scalp from itching too bad and I remoisture my hair when it’s time to wash my hair and I do a deep condition. I leave my hair in braids for like a month sometimes lol
This Video Is so lovely thank you for these tips It's really beautiful, I have a hair routine, and all thanks to you I have a protective style and I moisturise It during a protective style to keep it moisturised. You're Beautiful
I didn’t even realize your Murrow was dirty until you pointed it out 😭 great video
You have beautiful hair 😍 I have the same blow dryer brush it's really convenient. You remind me of Fabolosity is me. Y'all are both so pretty!
You are AWESOME. I truly enjoy your vlogs!!! I do not get easily bored at all with what you say. Thank you so very much. Keep up the great work!
Your hair is so successful. It look terrific. Continue the great hair journey because you deserve it. Congrats !
I have the brush blow dryer and the rev air. I rarely use either. Was debating on locs but nah...it's so convoluted with all these snobby what constitutes a sister loc, what is better....how not to thin 😐 🤔 😑 your hair. After 5 days of videos....I'm over the loc drama. Lol...I feel like I already got them. But it's nice to admire them. From afar. 😆 😂 😝
How often do you blow dry your hair? Your hair is beautiful!
Beautiful ☺️ 💜👏🏽
Where is your blow dryer from and what’s the name of it?
It’s revlon I have the same one . I got it from ulta.
Okay is this weird?: I feel like my hair grows ALOTTTT when it's in dry twists!!😂 Like when I braid my hair I just feel like it will break my hair
Lol not weird at all. Do whatever you feel is best for your hair. If that way helps with less breakage then keep doing it that way. 🤗
@@FabulousBre Alrighty! Tysm❤
Girlllllll, your hair is Gorgeous! ! Omg. .
How often do you shampoo and condition and rebraid your hair? Also do you take it off every night? Love this video 💕 your hair is goals.
I shampoo my hair and rebraid it every 3 weeks and I leave my wig on I don’t take it off unless I need to re-glue it down.. this way seems to work for me..
Fabulous Bre thanks so much this helps me a ton
@@FabulousBre What do you glue your wig down with?
Yes you were very helpful I like how your way of growing your hair was so simple, your was so much easier than others I have watch
New subscriber. I have always rocked wigs for my go to "protective style". I'm curious what shampoo and conditioner do you use? I usually like to use the same products instead of using different ones.
I ❤️ your hair, It's hair goals.
Right now my hair is loving mane and tail shampoo and conditioner the one with the horse on it lol
I wore a sewn on u part wig for one year straight and my hair grew super long. I should have taken breaks in between though because it was thinner than normal
Yes definitely take breaks. I do that from time to time. Especially if it’s a sewin
You got some beautiful hair 😍😍😍😍
Hi Bre your hair is beautiful...do u wear your wigs over night or for long periods of time or how do u do it...
I definitely wear them over night. I’m that type of girl 😂 once I lay my wig it’s on for a min. Until it starts lifting and then I do the whole routine over again.
