    I love braiding the roots of my hair also, then twisting. My hair actually thicken up alot by doing that style and leaving it alone. This happened when I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled back in October. Hair was the last thing on my mind lol. I was miserable but my hair benefited from it.

      @@crownofglory6071 your welcome😊. I just finished watching one of your older videos. The 4 month old braids takedown. That will give me motivation to keep these cornrows in for at least 2-3 months.

    Im inspired to return to my healthy hair growth journey. I experimented with regular wigs and flat ironing, etc. but have always been stressed as a result. My hair grew the most in twists down to mid back length. I will return to that.

    Beautiful! I have been doing the same thing for about 3 years now, braiding the roots. Not only does it look better to not have puffy roots, but my twists last longer and I'm not stuck only braiding my hair for retention rather than twisting for volume. Your hair does look fluffy and soft!

    I loved your detailed video..first time visitor here. Question though do you purposely avoid applying your leave in conditioner on your scalp or it's just something you do. Because I've seen this with many of our natural sistas in yt.. and I've done some research

      @@miyu_asali oh ok gotcha! I don’t apply any conditioner to my scalp. overtime our hair produces sebum from the scalp that will moisturize the hair and build up over the scalp. therefore I don’t think it’s necessary to apply conditioner to the scalp.

      if you’re experiencing excessive shedding it could possibly be an underlying health issue or result of taking medications. are you gentle when detangling? have you found the right products for your hair? are you moisturizing frequently?

    Hi, how are you? Your hair is definitely goals. I would like to ask how often you do your washing routine? How often you moisturize your hair in between washes?

    • @crownofglory6071
      @crownofglory6071  Рік тому +3

      Ideally I wash my hair bi-weekly, but if i’m super busy that may turn into every 3-4 weeks. As far as how often I moisturize, im trying to be more intentional about it. Being that my hair is high porosity I should be moisturizing it every 3 days! hope this helps.

    Twists vs cornrows (without extensions) which do you think works better

    • @crownofglory6071

      twists, it would provide less manipulation. if taken care of properly both will be beneficial for hair growth!
