Absolutely the right decision Julian. Nobody wins by launching a game prematurely. I'm super looking forward to this when its finally ready for 1.0. LET THEM COOK
Really appreciate the transparency and the fact you've clearly been listening to feedback. I've played the game to death and had a blast, can't wait to experience it again!
I've been here since day one and have remained forever patient. I'm just glad that its going well and it didn't turn into a unsuccessful project leaving you guys in financial debt or anything. And I know the game isn't out yet but you have definitely brought more than enough and what I thought would be in the game so for that I'm very grateful and appreciative. I really hope launch will bring tons of more people onto the game.
I am an Arab, although I do not speak English, but I love your game very much, and I thank you for everything you do, and be sure that you are a person worth waiting for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤🔥💯❤🔥💯❤🔥💯❤🔥💯❤🔥💯❤🔥💯❤🔥
I don't think anyone would mind a delayed product that ends up being great. I've been following you for quite some time and I am happy to see how far you have gotten.
personally, I don't see the "bad" news here; you're going to take the time to not rush it and make it even better that it already is. You said you were ending up having to rush multiplayer. My wife and I have played (solo) and I'm waiting for MP to reintroduce her back to it so she can see how much has changed. But we overall already loved it and seeing it progressively get better and better with every update has been very exciting. As a passion project, take the time you need because the game is already a gem, and I'm looking forward to 1.0. Kudos for doing the opposite of what other big dev companies end up doing which is crunch and zero polish ending up with a half-baked product that still was delivered late. Best wishes for you and the team.
No need to apologize because a good game needs time to cook. So take your time and make your dream game come true ♥ we'll wait, I'll wait as long as I need to. Have a great weekend and thank you for the personal update!
Right decision, appreciate the straight forward conversation! Please also ensure you guys enjoy the holidays coming as well on top of this, need self care as well as focus!! Helps to ensure you stay focused on the important stuff.
Honestly love and appreciate this kind of transparency from devs, and wish more devs did this. Take all the time you need. My wife and I will be patiently awaiting 1.0 and Multiplayer till then!! Happy Holidays to everyone at Flow Studio!!!
You're doing a great job. The game has evolved so much through early access and it's always been getting better imo. I'm a big fan and I really want the game to sell well, and rushing an unfinished game never worked out well for anyone, even AAA studios. Take your time, do it right, and don't burn out your love for what you're doing.
As a person who has supported since the moment it released on Early Access on Steam, I want to say this; Even WITHOUT the major updates this year the game is substantial! Please don't let any overtly negative comments wash over the overall experience this game has been so far! I typically jump into each game I support at every major update, and Len's is a lovely breath of fresh air for me. So I am very eagerly looking forward to the updates you guys have planned! The game is SO good! Also omg yes to more story bits! While I love the overall open nature of the narrative having some direction and especially a reason is very enticing! But yeah... PLEASE take your time! Nothing is worse than a rushed game.
Thank you for being honest and transparent about it. I think your game is amazing and I love already now playing it. I know the saying in English is: I can't wait to see what comes next but: I can wait for it. Don't rush it. As a fellow developer I can totally understand. I am happy that you are not giving in to the pressure. Look after yourself and your team. Greetings from Scotland 🙂❤
Kudos to you & your team for making this tough decision. In a world where many games claiming release 1.0 aren't anywhere near finished I wish all game shops, big & small would follow your example. Looking forward to the finished game!
Hi Julian, good to see you personally once again. Please, take your time with the launch. All of you are doing a fantastic work! Thank you for your passion.
As a long term player of Len's Island, I can absolutely say that is the right decision to make. I think players these days appreciate how long development takes and are more tolerant to delays. There has been too many games in the past that have been ruined by unrealistic timelines or even devs just abandoning their games altogether e.g. Cyberpunk being a big example. Keep going at it! Take your time!
This is such an amazing game, thank you for your passion and for making the right decision to delay the full release in order to keep Len'e Island great! It is so much fun!
Take your time, Homie. Too many games launch in a half-arsed state these days. The foundation of LI is VERY solid, and your vision of the game is clear. Backed in EA months and months ago, patiently waiting for 1.0 to pick up a copy for the wife so she and I can play together!
No need to be sorry! Len's Island had honestly fallen off of my radar, but I do own the game already & check in periodically. I'm really excited to see how the game is when it launches fully into 1.0! You guys are doing a great job & I think everyone here understands completely that you guys need more time.
Len's Island will be huge. Few people know about it already, but once it's released as version 1.0, everyone will play it. So no rush, take your time, we'll wait EAGERLY but patiently❤🤝
LET IT COOK! Flavors meld into a better overall product the longer it cooks. A lot of us players are tired of undercooked, gristley, bug ridden games that come out too early.
Please don't push it too hard, you already almost died pushing yourself to the limit, please take it slower, don't push your team and just one step at the time, your game is already great :) you are not a team of hundreds people with half a billion budget, you are a couple people making a great game :) so please just a deep breath, have great holidays and I am sure it will come to a finish line eventually :)
Absolutely the right decision Julian. Nobody wins by launching a game prematurely. I'm super looking forward to this when its finally ready for 1.0.
LET THEM COOK
The potential of Lens island is so huge, its a right decision Julian. Keep up the awsome work!
Don't burn yourselfs out. Take your time, do what you need.

Never heard of your game. Looks fun! Don't rush it. We can wait.
Better a delay than a bad launch. Polish makes a huge difference to people who come it an 1.0. Looking forward to it, whenever it's ready.

Your game is such a vibe and I've been there for it since "almost" the begining. Yes do take your time so the game can become the one of your visions

Right decision. Never compromise your art or standards for a deadline. Either reduce scope or move the deadline 👍
Kudos to you & your team for making this tough decision. In a world where many games claiming release 1.0 aren't anywhere near finished I wish all game shops, big & small would follow your example. Looking forward to the finished game!

Excited for 1.0. I'll still be excited next year.
Nothing worse then playing a rushed game! Take your time, I look forward to playing the finished product 🙂
Da ain't rushed, Len island have developed a long time single player
This is such an amazing game, thank you for your passion and for making the right decision to delay the full release in order to keep Len'e Island great! It is so much fun!

I would love more features and I can wait, good luck! 💫
Sounds Great, keep up the good work, and be careful of that nasty "scope creep", looking forward to 1.0
No worry! 1.0 is gonna be great! Worth waiting for sure!
Hi Dev!, i love your game soon as i get to have money i would support. Thank you for making this game.
I’ll wait patiently if that’s gonna give u the time to make of the game something you’re fulfilled with

hey take all the time you need ya know, we want a full running game, not half rushed game
we are not going anywhere, just take your time and enjoy the journey building this game.
all good! Cant wait to play
Can't wait to play it!
Good luck!
I remember watching the first devlog video
Take your time! A polished game is much preferred to a buggy release.
It'll be worth the wait
Len's Island will be huge. Few people know about it already, but once it's released as version 1.0, everyone will play it. So no rush, take your time, we'll wait EAGERLY but patiently❤🤝
still waiting excitedly for launch.
PLS PLS Take your Time , it´s the better Decision
Four devs? I completely understand man

Im gonna try only when multiplayer mode is available
Take your time, the industry is pushing every game way to quickly, it's usually awful, full of bugs
Do the things right, and everyone will win
I am 80 and I enjoy playing games of all kinds. Unfortunately, I am not very good. How about adding an easy mode for people like me.
ok but......beards?
