As the name would suggest, Albacore Town specialises in various fish, seafood and other foods. It's usually good to get a couple of different trade goods so you don't drop the price of whatever you're selling too much. As long as you're dealing in light stuff like food, you can cram the dhow completely full and even carry a couple of boxes on top of the rafters of the cloth roof.
@@couplingrhino Well, thanks to you I have just learned that an Albacore is a type of Tuna! Cheers for clearing that up! Great advice on picking up different trade goods and being able to cram the Dhow, I'll be filling her up with all sorts of food and supplies for my sail to the Emerald Archipelago (after customising) so its very handy to know about the rafters. Cheers!
Been eyeing this game for a long time and finally took the plunge...very happy with the experience a masterpiece in formation, a lost gem waiting to be discovered...glad you still streaming your adventures, liked and subscribed, keep up the good work showing up what the game can do!
Welcome to the crew, shipmate! You can expect all of your free time for the next wee while to be spent on the water. Sailwind truly is a beautiful game and it has certainly brought me a lot of peace, enjoyment, and just the right amount of excitment. I appreciate the kind words, please do keep in touch and let me know how you're fairing! Fair winds, and smooth seas ⚓
@@ikolokogameplay Good to hear from you! I hope you don't mind, I took some inspiration from you with the music and using numbers on the thumbnail! You are more than welcome to mention me whenever you like, and I will be sure to mention you - I liked your top secret video! 🙂 Saúde!
@Shipwreck_Sean I'm very glad that I could inspire you and feel free to use whatever material I release! Also if you want to ask about sailing or the gameplay I'll be more than happy to talk about it with you! Thanks for the support man!

Been waiting for this episode, partly to see how you'd do pronouncing my name lol. Emre part is right, the rest is just as bad as I expected haha. Don't worry, it's not even English so I don't blame you! I loved the fast forward intro and the music. I say keep both. Nice work on the pilotage, even with some fails. I think that much is expected. I recently got the sanbuq and got it into Albacore town just fine! Getting back out was an entirely different story lol. I'd love to see you take the dhow out to the other archipelagos before you get the sanbuq. I'm curious to see how a small ship handles the long voyage.
@@emrebaskocak Haha I knew I was going to butcher it, but I was absolutely still going to try! Would it be more like "Baskokatch"? I'm Scottish, so I can't even pronounce English words properly and that's my first language haha. I'm really enjoying the pilotage map! It adds a new layer, and of course gives me something to do while at sea. I plan on taking the Dhow out to the Emerald Archipelago, I'll sail back to Gold Rock, customise the Dhow, and then see if I have enough money to purchase something to keep my eye on Lat/Lon 🙂 As always thanks for watching, and apologies for how I pronounced your name!
@@Shipwreck_Sean Haha it's actually bash-co-chuck, but don't worry about it, emre is enough. I don't find your accent too hard to understand compared to some other Scottish accents I've heard. Must be differences in location within Scotland I suppose. I hope the developer adds the pilotage map in game. I think it's on the roadmap. Have you played any of the Silent Hunter games? Basically a submarine simulator where you're trying to sink ships. They have amazing maps in game that you can plot on and draw shapes on and stuff. I'd love to see that in this game. Wait you'll sail to Emerald Archipelago before customising? Oh boy I'm looking forward to that lol.
@@emrebaskocak Well, I couldn't have gotten that more wrong if I tried! I have worked in travel/tourism for years and years now so I've learned how to tone my accent down a little bit. In real life I'm sure it would be more difficult! I haven't played any Silent Hunter games but I checked out some channels on youtube since reading your comment and I've subscribed, looks like my kind of game! Ahh no, just to clear that up my plans after this episode are; - Return to Gold Rock (from Albacore) - Customise the Dhow - Sail a maiden voyage (to practice configuration) - Back to Gold Rock for a Chronocompass & Quadrant - Missions to Emerald Archipelago - Ocean Voyage!
@ Ah got it, your plan makes sense. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the dhow. I'm not sure how profitable the trip to the Emerald Archipelago will be since the dhow is quite small and I imagine a lot of the space will be taken up by supplies. Might I recommend that you make your maiden voyage with the new configuration to Alchemist's Island? There's a good reason for this, snake oil! It'll make it so you can sleep during most of the long voyage. Might be worth a thought.
@@emrebaskocak Yeah I don't think it's going to be a huge money-maker, but I'm hoping to learn a lot along the way, which is valuable in itself! That's a great suggestion actually, it'll also be worth getting some energy elixirs too as I have been in trouble a couple of times by napping at the wrong time! It also gives me an oppertunity to pronounce your username correctly when I mention it, haha!
