    As an infp, i can find the potential weaknesses or insecurities of people with my Fi-Ne and also my knowledge in psychology. However, I can't imagine myself using that for manipulating people. Even when i dislike someone, I can't do that to them bcs my moral compass wouldn't let me doing that haha. I think it's also bcs of my Fi, when i spot other's weakness and insecurities, it makes me empathize with them instead of using them for gaining power or something.

  • @adrienne9757

    It shocked me when you said infp is most rebellious, because i was picturing people/ types who purposely go out of their way(s) to rebel against rules, society. But lol, i see what you mean now. Infps are naturally rebellious because we don't give a flip. We like what we like. We listen to music we like, go where we want, do what we want. Because we don't care about what anyway thinks, or what's the"norm". We are our own norm. We don't care about fitting in. We just naturally do what we like.

    • @psychcasserole
      @psychcasserole  Рік тому +4

      Yep. Rebellious as in we are ultra stubborn about our values. So that may or may not lend itself to perceived rebellion. It just depends on what the values are 😂

    As an INFP 4w5 this is all 100% true for me. I feel like you're talking about me when you're describing all these characteristics and traits. I'm a psychotherapist and also an advocate...I'm a very passionate person and when I care about something I turn into this unstoppable warrior for a cause or person that I care about. I also excel at picking up big picture patterns that others don't recognize which helps me a lot in my profession. I'm glad you made this video as I don't think these traits are discussed enough in MBTI world when it comes to the INFP personality. I think most people underestimate us.

      winging it is your mantra made me think of it being your main transportation. Plans that are made prior to are typically limited because of these things being a priori it would be best defined as empirical although it's not necessarily data in the same terms as those used in science and having such definite positions, but personally empirical data that is the current understanding as things unfold before our eyes. Something like the propulsion systems that are used for docking equipment in space.... correcting position as the coupling is taking place. Also reminds me of how birds fly together.... reminds me of how we can often bee, slightly altering our position using a graph like aerial mapping that creates grids to ensure there isn't as much error, causing flights to go awry. Kevin B rockin' up in here,, Keep on keeping on w/your talent that would be worthy of awe no matter which version you might on "America's got Talent" Australian/Britain/ and others. International World's Got Talent would be a fitting venue for your performance.
      Grace the stage with the eloquence and vibrance that only you can bring to the world. Your audience awaits you, on the edge of their seats, eyes darting about waiting for the moment that you step foot on the stage so that they might rise with a wave of applause that would make Gaga overdose.

    I can imagine this video being empowering in such a way that the love that is able to be created from this description of our exceptional abilities that we often overlook because of so many of these skills that we have are obscure because of the lack of so many of us knowing that we do things in so much of a unconscious manner that it allows our brilliance to shine in ways that are able to converse with just about anyone on any topic that we might find interesting-regardless of education, MBTI type, upbringing, and other nature/nurture factors. One could be the most brilliant or maybe not seen as the brightest crayon in the box, but they are a part of the palette of colors that allow us to have the vivid imagery that life is able to express to us through our senses, but this connection and ability to converse with the former or latter with compassion is so magnificently exceptional. I'm understanding HOW significant our favoritism for status whether it be socioeconomic, cultural, spiritual, regional, or other label that is used to create division. It's as if division isn't something that we perceive in the same way that others do.
    Jesus' acceptance of others who were thieves, murderess, and the like was an excellent portrayal of how one can be accepting of others if they're willing to allow Fall to take place to drop their leaves to bring new ones in the Spring (not turn a new leaf, but to help create a new one) Also not showing favoritism to one whether they're wearing rags or they're cloaked in riches. It brings about a much wider perspective and ability to create MASSIVE new opportunities and windows where no light was even permissible adding a roll back cover like some of the stadiums and arenas. the circular shape architecture is the continents, countries, states, etc. Perspectives from differing numbers/letters as well as box seats can allow one to recreate plays, bring about new positions/plays/utilization of roles and analyze- to create improvisational tactics/preparation/supplementation/implementation and any other concepts/approaches that could be used to gain benefit for those we see worthy of being alongside us or a leader that would make Martin Luther King Jr swoon with admiration for such a forward thinking through accepting regardless of color, creed, religion, clique, musical preference, or even those people who get those wild body modifications like dying their hair and stuff.....WHOA crazy ppl there....or maybe MAD is a more suitable term. Milliners who are a bit angry.... *jumps up and taps heels together* (imagining Johnny Depp in Alice In Wonderland 2010 but the jump & heel tap is more reminiscent of Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke
    thanks for this video and I hope all who encounter this gem among gems can be appreciated by all who might stumble across your Vlogging of psychological profession alongside the savvy that comes with age and the INFP-otential for growth that is only limited by the amount of time, effort, and other factors that we're willing to put into life. It may seem insignificant for some, but Sir Isaac Newton said it best "on the shoulders of giants" and we're about as docile as Gulliver. Gentle giants who prefer to use smooth fluid movement that doesn't disrupt, but attempts to synchronize with them in order to create a flow that occurs like musical chords. Hoping to bring about a symphony that is worthy of an audience that has no seating capacity.
    Thanks again man, you f'ing rock (keep it kinda pg-13 in hopes of being more diplomatic for the younger gens)

With this in mind, it definitely wouldn't hurt and would be surely appreciated by Brandon if you were to do a bit of exploring yourself. 2 heads are better than one right? Might not always have a second one to rely on, so to make sure you're better able to take on life more confidently, wouldn't you like to know how the terrain, map, roads, highways, and other identifying landmarks are perceived? If you know the map, you're better able to go from point A to B or A to ABBA, AABB, ABAB (rhyme scheme for poetry- yay just found something else to look up rhyme schemes and other structural usage within poetry)

    Interesting I have an INFP friend and I’m not so sure the manipulative nature of them is a good thing. I tend to lean toward manipulation as a negative. To use people for your own gain, IMHO isn’t exactly badass. The golden rule of treating people how you want to be treated should be everyone’s mantra and I’ve had to “ point out” the manipulation in the past in the nicest ways. Maybe I’m super aware of manipulators and that’s why? Peace.

    • @psychcasserole
      @psychcasserole  Рік тому +1

      Agreed, the manipulation isn’t good per se, perhaps edgy might have been the correct descriptor for that one.

    • @magic13christispage
      @magic13christispage Рік тому +4

      Everyone can be a manipulator, no matter their personality type, but I think us infps are the less manipulative types, because usually we can't live with ourselves if we are, due to our moral. I don't think that is what Brandon meant here (he even commented himself). From my perspective, what I would see as "manipulative" behaviour in myself is that I have the ability to drive conversations/situations etc where I want them. But that is not to gain something from it and bring others down, but because, maybe, it is about an issue that I think is important (even just for me and no one else) whilst overlooked, so I "manipulate" things to draw the attention there. If that issue is fixed, I have no problem "being manipulated" myself towards another issue that is considered important by others. So, even if it is called manipulation, it is not a malicious one. I don't know about your experiences with infps in general, but I think you might be kind of prejudiced here. Which I understand, though, since I have been (and still am maybe) prejudiced over some types/behaviours, due to my own experiences; so, no hard feelings:)

    • @warriorcatkitty
      @warriorcatkitty Рік тому +4

      @@magic13christispage another thing- INFPs are very introspective. a lot of people who manipulate others don't even recognize they are doing it, but an INFP is a lot more likely to notice what they are doing and stop it. that's why although yes, we CAN be good manipulators if we wanted to, most of us absolutely aren't going to choose to do something like that. types without Fi might might be more likely to be manipulative and not realize they are that way, so it can be harder to stop.
      of course, that still doesn't mean we will always notice it; so obviously, you should still definitely tell us if we are doing something wrong.

    • @SouthPacific-qg5ky
      @SouthPacific-qg5ky Рік тому +1

      Edgy, I’ll go with that. I’m pretty sure this INFP knows they are manipulating consciously, but they may be a 1 off, maybe have some other tendencies unlike a usual INFP. Thank you for this vid brah, these do help in understanding. Peace.

    • @adrienne9757
      @adrienne9757 Рік тому +2

      @@SouthPacific-qg5kyhello. Think the other response are great. Especially the part 2. Still wanted to add my 2 cents though. From my experience and infp is not trying to be malicious when being manipulative. They won't take advantage in the first if they think it against their own morals or if it is damaging in anyway. In my experience, I will do it to get out of trouble, if me or someone else is being wronged, I'll argued my view point or tell a white lie, so that said person said person is validate, gets their rights, or whatever the case may be. There is healthy manipulation and there is unhealthy manipulation
