I have watched this vid so many times. I've always had an idea in my head of what would be my perfect house, this is it. Layout is sensational. I would make very small changes like a firemans pole from loft to ground and a couple of other ideas but this is just perfect. Well done to all involved.

For me the toughest part is finding someone that does this type of amazing build where I'll be retiring is tough...this is the way to go. Dream home without a doubt.

Go to the Local home building material supply stores / lumber co in the area you want to build in & ask them which builders specialize or at least build the type of home you are looking for.... The supply stores absolutely know their builders because they consult builders on the latest & best materials & are aware of all of the builders projects, quality & standards... They are also aware of builders who don't market or use realtors, that you may never know about. You can interview builders from those referrals...
You have truly out did yourselves. I use of the second floor as it relates to the scale of the kitchen and other areas. I really appreciate seeing it completed with furniture. The space was portionately well used.
I need one of these in Florida. Maybe a little smaller and a second one for visitors. but over all this thing is a dream.

One suggestion...leave more elbow room on the wall side of each double sink vanity. I hate banging elbows into the wall or towel rack when using a sink.

I was listening to The Dave Ramsey podcast today and I heard someone tell him that they built barndominuims and I instantly realized that it was you doing a debt free scream! Congrats! My husband and I are 3 months into his program and we have already paid off 8K in debt. I have you to thank for getting me to check out his stuff. I watched the video where you paid off your house and you were the 2nd person in a couple of months that talked about the Dave Ramsey program and I thought after seeing your video that I really need to see what this is all about, so thank you. We are looking forward to doing our own debt free scream one day. Congrats again!

I love this idea and this house. We're moving to the panhandle of Florida and was wondering if there's any chance these survive Hurricanes?
Going back over some episodes I had missed surprised I missed the last on this one beautifully done surprising there's not a Big Ass Fan in the living area
Their website says $130/sqft for basic interior. This video says roughly 3900sqft with first and second floor, not including the attic so that’s $507,000.
The garage space is 1400sqft at $50 a foot so $70,000.
And the porches are roughly 1400 sqft at $42 a foot so $58,800.
Grand total for the BASIC build not including attic, patio, or covered exterior areas = $635,800. Expensive but that’s a MASSIVE HOUSE.

I did a bathroom wall with a near exact same 3-dimensional heavily textured tile like you show here for a customer. It looks absolutely fantastic! ...But it is an absolute NIGHTMARE to keep clean. You can't even begin to imagine how much crap each one of those tiny ledges will collect. Take my advice: Don't ever do this to your bathroom wall. I speak from experience! --- but it looks great, doesn't it?
Solution: small leaf-blower once a month. Then proceed with dusting/cleaning the rest of the bathroom the traditional way.
Have to say this Cowboy Condo turned out better than Excellent. The attention to detail you and your guys use can not go unnoticed. It truly sets you guys apart. I was able to watch the first video where you were putting the cables in for the stair railing and how you use your own technique because the actual pre-made cable system was too expensive. I know these are all custom made and your clients are picking and choosing distinctive items but I have (2) questions I would like answered if you could. (1) I'm looking into building steel homes here in Central Florida, mainly because our lower-income housing inventory is extremely depleted. Nothing fancy just well built and low-cost upkeep. (2) knowing the difference in climate from Texas to Florida, what gauge of steel and what would you recommend as far as insulation would you use if you were building in Florida vs. Texas. Okay so here is the one you won't answer, what is the average cost per sq ft on some of your builds? Keep Doing What You're Doing, and Keep the Videos Coming Also. Your work is Top Notch!

I am guessing this is going to be a hunting lodge where they bring lots of people with with them to hunt. If it was beds like that in an everyday house, yes would be strange. For an everyday house I was thinking another living room with pool table and such.

But when we the viewers watch your you tube videos (which is also helping you $) we're looking not because we love Barns... But because we're hoping it's cheaper to build a house out of a barn than brick. Customization is not it, we can get a brick house any way we want it to but it's expensive. It's all about the price for us... Market, advertise the cost savings... That's what we want to hear. It's all about the money! Love your work.
