Then i started thinking: Its either a place of life with little pieces of death, or a place with death with little pieces of Life. Dragonblight made up my mind because of both Ruby and Emerald dragons Then i and a friend splitted into the Ruby and Emerald dragonshrine. Nothing on the ruby, he found the tear on the emerald.
That we did my friend! I was the one who went to check these, Thought it was the Ruby shrine at first, life dragons going there to die and all... Searched for a good ten minutes, nothing there, so I followed my friend's suggestion to try the Emerald one, Found it there not long after. That is the story of how we finally solved a step that took the discord 7 hours to find. Should have seen the discord's reaction when I posted the screenshot of the Dark Place!
I think it's there due to (even after many retcons red and green dragons now have basically no difference anymore, both purpose of life and Alexsa stealing Ysera's power sprout plants..., so *I* have to propose a redefinition): red dragons care about the actual carnal life of beings and the world of the living, but the green dragons caring about life as a spiritual energy/essence and therefore linked to the emerald dream, that's the mentioned "realm of life" in "where the realm of life and death ... spill over in your world". So the dark place is accessible anywhere the emerald dream and the shadowlands come in contact with, i.e. the resting place of green dragons. I guess so ... does that make any sense? ^^
4:28 Fun fact. This is old loading screen for the "Emerald dream" from vanilla. If you played on the private servers and you get there, this is the only place where this loading screen appears.
You gave me all the more reason to save Uuna. She is more than a "pet". She is a true friend. And my character (draenei paladin) also suffered badly as a child, so I will go and I will save her. Then, we'll go on Azeroth World Tour and share lots of hugs. Thank you, Blizzard, for adding Uuna to the game. You made this troubled world a little more heartwarming. If I'll ever be in doubt, I'll see Uuna, we'll share some huggles and I Will know that everything will be all right in the end.
Super late reply but I like to think that since the Light itself kicked my Death Knight out of Lights Hope Chape, it also later forgave him and rescued Uuna when he tried but could not.
By the Light, Uuna's story makes Pamela Redpath's story from the Eastern Plaguelands look like a comedy. Another demonstration of the Legion's cruelty.
I think the entrance to the Shadowlands being in Dragonblight makes a bit of sense. The dragons are one of the most ancient races on Azeroth, and that is the land that they all go to die in order for their souls to rest. Makes sense in hindsight, but I'm sure trying to figure that out for the puzzle was a huge pain in the ass!

oh i remember the post master quest that Nobbel did on stream where he was wasted and broken after hours of failure and always sent letters from Kharanos to Outland.
The scenario with Uuna is, in my opinion, a very memorable moment for me. I was in my werebear form, and defending her behind my arm as the shadows closed in around us was such an awesome image. Still waiting for the mailroom though.
Question regarding Johnny Awesome: is his dialogue any different depending on whether or not you do the quests in Hillsbrad Foothills that you mentioned around the 12:20 timestamp?

The A Dark Place scenario is rather hard. Took me many tries to get through. I did it on my mage for the world tour portion of the chain, I really should've done it on my Paladin as she has much better speed boost gear. While you don't have Mimiron's Head mount, I don't have Argus' scythe.
I feel the postmaster stuff was a somewhat wasted opportunity for some really funny and fourth wall breaking quest lines based around how the actual player base abuses the mail system in various ways or how the mail system used to work etc.
Wifey and I always just said the postmaster was Alucard, because frankly who else is going to wade through the wreckage of the dungeons to send us the trash we left behind?
Would it be possible to do a lore story of Rhonin or Krasus? Both of them are influential characters dating back to the War of the Ancients with Broxigar. Awesome vid btw!

Got her on my second try. The last part of the scenario was hard, but I did it pretty easy. The Mail questline, however, was just rubbing salt in my wound. since I still don't have Invincible. Didn't care about the Head, got that ages ago, but Dammit. Invincible was too cruel.

Except Blizzard has conditioned us to expect achievements for the effort we put in. They have been pushing this idea very hard, ever since they introduced achievements back in the day. To then not give out an achievement here just doesn't make any sense. I don't play WoW that much any more and when i do play i don't care about mounts, achievements or any other prize to boost my ego. I also don't care enough to do this girls quest, or the orphan quests that this one is copied from.
