Excellent work guys, on large machines, even the simple or basic jobs are skilled. Impressive work by all I saw in this video. Thank you for sharing Sir.
Never took that long to indicate in a piece that size. The boring bar is nice. I use to work for company that made forge presses, pipe straightener machines and extrusion presses. We used same size equipment.
Great video. We have similar work in our shop, the largest lathe we have is a Geminis with Siemens controls. I do the programming for this machine as well as two Okuma CNC lathes using CAM. I am learning from your channel. The steady rest was already set to the right height in a previous operation? Thanks and cheers from Holland. Oh yes, please wear earplugs. Hearing damage is permanent and the kid is still very young. Noises in a machine shop are especially damaging because of the high frequencies and volume.
Yes, the fixed mount was adjusted to the correct height in the previous video. Thank you very much for your good wishes. I wish you good luck in your life. I send my greetings to the Netherlands. 👍

Good video But some disasters waiting to happen ! Hopping on and off those oily bedways One slip ! And a bit slaphappy mounting that cylinder in the chuck Be carefully lads it always happens when you think it won,t
Я тоже не понял ...они просто плюхнули люнет на станину и все. И я не видел ,что бы они подводили ролики люнета как то по заготовке. И еще, меня смутила сварка .....данном изделии.

I like how the 700 ton press flange is fatter and thicker than a 1200 ton flange something what is a guy to pay a little bit more money and I don't know about that steady rest the top piece cap I would want that f****** thing is solid as can be f****** 20 tons swinging above your head
What a team ! Great video. Watched it right to the end. Love your work.
Thank you 😊

Can't you find a little bigger lathe and steady rest.
🤔This is the largest lathe in our factory.
That lathe will handle most any ships propeller shaft without issues.
ага, баш на струга ли се работи с тая ракета ? Не можахте ли някъде отстрани ?
Sorry, couldn't translate what you wrote.

How did they know the flanged end was at the right height and was not sagging?
Hello, in the video in part 2, a fixed bed height was set. 👍
👌 mükemmel
Thanks 👍
What is the tape for.
For rod centering
Grinding on the machine Mmmm!.

I can see the metal chips going into the steady rest . Not a very good scenario.
Yes, you are right, we had to take precautions. 👍
Hello how are you 👋
Hello brother, thank you. 👋

Put your damn safety glasses on!
We have protective equipment but it wasn't used for video shooting, man.
Es mejor trabajar con piezas grandes con pequeñas
Yes, you are right. 👍
and that's what apprentice do.
👍
Great video except for using compressed air to blow metal chips without eye protection. Come on guys, you all know better.
You are right, thank you for your goon. 👍
There are no " OSHA " regulations over there
@jamesadams893 OSHA is in place but workers don't seem to care
Did you get hurt?
I wasn't hurt
No eye protection 😢

Sorry I meant the tape on the tool holder.
Tape was used to fix the polishing apparatus 👍

The reason why the flange is thick is in line with our customer's requests. Also the ropes we use are very strong 👍

Micrometer on thin oil can. Not trustworthy!
🤔 There is weight in the thin oil box and there is no problem my friend
Hi friend, nice to see your videos. What email can I use to contact you to talk about some projects?
I'm sorry my friend, unfortunately it is not possible due to the rules of our factory. 😔
