I’ve been diehard Apple for years as my personal phone. My Fold 6 arrives today. I’ve watched countless videos about the fold 6 since I ordered it. All I’ve heard is complaints about the outer keyboard. You showed how to expand it. No one ever mentioned that, just complained about the camera, the keyboard, and expected it to run top of the line PC games available on max settings like a giant powerhouse desktop PC. And then, well, looks like they haven’t got it figured out yet, maybe next year we will get a Sony Alpha 9 camera, Nvidia 5090, a N power cell, and 777 fan to cool the thing. Just the fact that you can move the keyboard makes me excited to make the change from Apple to Samsung. Great video. New Subscriber!
I’m an Apple user and considering switching to this. I want to go back to Android.. haven’t had one in like 10 years . But I can’t get phone calls in my house with Apple. And my Android users are getting there calls sooo
Can u slightly see through the phones when folded like very slight when looked through between the charger and speaker? Even though the rubbers seemed joined together
After using iPhones for over 8 years, I recently switched from an iPhone 15 Pro to a Fold 6. I made this change because iOS has become stagnant, with little innovation. Just boring. I was craving something different, and I have absolutely no regrets about my decision. This phone is incredibly powerful and feature-rich. Beast of a phone
I love the fact you addressed common complaints of other fold users and tech reviewers and gave an honest response to it all. It's a tough bargain, i held the S24 Ultra, Fold6, and my Fold4 together, and the refinements are amazing. I think the sweet spot everyone wants for the housing is a 6.5" cover display. I'm an avid Fold driver as well, and although I absolutely love the SU series phones, I realize the folds i love more. Waiting for Samsung to make the Fold the Note Successor!

I've been in samsungs ecosystems for almost 2 years now with the s23+, buds 2 pro, watch 5 and tab s8+. Initially I was leaning towards a pixel fold 9 pro or one plus open because of the normal outwr displays, but after using this in store, the one hand use capability makes the narrow display more desirable for me personally. This might end up being my 1st foldable.
I bought the zfold 6 when it first came out and then returned it because I have the s24 ultra. And I found out that it was a big mistake, that's why I reordered it and got a huge discount by trading in the Fold 3. This time, I am keeping it
I got it today and returning tomorrow. Did trade with ultra 23 and decided no way I am paying $700 for this exchange. Not even close to screen of ultra 23 when it's folded. Hard to use. Video size way too small.

One thing i did notice was that the speakers are better in smaller screen. The top is actually forward firing more than upward. Try it. Open fold, play music, turn it around to outer display and see if there is a difference.
I think youre the only channel that says the outer display is perfectly usable. I wholeheartedly agree and think thats what makes the Fold 6 unique. Yes the majority of people are tired of the same design, but the slim outer display makes the phone nice to handle, even more so with one hand. Widen the outer display and itll just feel like any other 'plus' size foldable out on the market now. Despite what the majority says, i do hope they keep the slimmer form factor for the 7, but yeh lets change up the design a little bit.
Thanks for the real-world review after a month of use. Goes a long way coming from someone who has daily driven every single Fold device from Samsung. I've owned every single Note phone since the Note 2, including the Note 20 Ultra all the way to the current S24 Ultra. I don't use the spen very often but it comes in handy when I need it. That being said, I wouldn't want to give up battery life for an added spen in the Fold 7. For me, using one of the many great spen cases makes a lot more sense. The Fold 6 is the first fold device I seriously considered buying with the considerable updates and refinements over the Fold 5, but I decided to go with the S24 Ultra instead, which has been a great phone. We'll see when the Fold 7 comes out if it pushes me off the fence but I'll be looking for a larger battery, wider front and inner screen, improved camera specs, at least 45w charging and a thinner and lighter form factor.
It's the screen protector.. i have an razr plus and it has an pre installed screen protector in it ive tried it it left like that like trail but i think eventually it goes away 2:45
Great time to buy right now. I ended up getting it for just upward of $800. $200 instant credit for getting white or black. And then enhanced trade in credit. Samsung gave me $800 for my Note 20 Ultra.
Yeah that happened to me too. I love the design, but I just can't trust the product itself. Within a year I had an issue with the front screen, data connection, and now a split down the middle. I was looking at the google pixel pro 9. While it doesn't have as much, it seems to be more durable! I just want a folding phone that will last. Especially for the price you pay for it.
That trade in thing is unrealistic for most people... because most people finance their phones through their mobile carriers like me..which is why I'm still on my fold 4
You can still finance your phone through Samsung's website. They have the option to where you can get it "unlocked" or through whatever carrier you have too.
I jumped in the Z Fold game with the Z Fold 3. Just ordered the Z Fold 6. I am hoping to get the same amout of use as I got from the Fold 3. Great phone, Great overall use.

I have flip 5 and I had it for 2 years it starting to lag and the battery drains faster than before in addition to the screen protector falling off. I'm trying to push 3 years before replacing it.
Do you feel Samsung will stick to their guns for the Fold 7 when it comes to display size? I personally would like a wider and bigger display that matches the competition overseas in China or heck, even the Pro 9 Fold and OnePlus Open. There's also the rumors of a Fold 6 SE with a larger outer display for the Chinese and Korean markets.
I got the fold 4 when it came out brand new. It was broken within 3 months. Like it wouldnt open and when it did open the screen on the inside literally fell apart. I took extra good care of it, it broke. Fast as hell. I paid i believe, 1800 for the phone. Never going back to fold or flip phones. I didnt do anything negative to it. Still love samsung but be cautious with the fold if you get it. Also if it does break contact samsung. They will send you a brand new phone for free. Any samsung phone for free
Indeed, many have expressed a desire for a larger battery and an enhanced camera. However, Samsung has truly shone in terms of design this year. The Fold6 offers a superior daily user experience compared to other foldables. Its smaller outer display is favored for its one-handed usability, which is its main function, and when a larger screen is necessary, it effortlessly unfolds. In an ideal scenario, I would appreciate the current design and size, coupled with a larger battery, improved S24 Ultra cameras, and an integrated S Pen slot within the fold. However, such advancements are unlikely to materialize in the near future.
I have the Fold 6 in White which is an online exclusive color. Totally agree about the battery life (better than expected) and playing the trade-in offers to make the price even palatable. I am like the usage experience so far.
The fact there isn’t an internal slot for an s pen is insane…for the cost there is no excuse. Also the battery is not good. I’ll wait until the next generation.
I did see one thing the dual recorder in camera can only shoot using back camera we cannot have a combination of front and back camera....this is a bummer...can you verify if this is true..or my camera app is messed up!!
Spigen do solid cases but way Way to bulky for a fold, like to go with a brick in your pockets. Fold is best naked and holds up damn good even then, mine has been thru hell and back ..still kicking. :)
I'm glad they didn't put in a place fore the spen. I never use it and it would cut down on space for other things like battery. I wish you could get one without spen support at all to save thickness/weight. I guess what I really want is the zfold 6 SE.
I went through 2 zfolds phones. I loved the fold when it's open. But the fold wears out easily. The first one lasted 13 months. Conveniently after the warranty expired. The replacement then split at the fold. After 30 days. I was done. I got it repaired ," more money" it's a money pitt. No wonder the price dropped. If they would just make a screen as wide as it is when open, i would buy that in a heartbeat. The fold needs to go. Just sell a wide screen.
Understood but honestly I shared everything I felt was worth sharing. If you want more insight on the Fold in general then my past reviews of older folds still apply to the Fold 6 as far as user experience goes.
@wentoneisendon6502 Not sure what you are getting for battery life, but so far today, I have 50% battery with 4 hours of screen on time. I also have NFC off as well as Always On Display.
It looks great, but the camera is definitely a deal breaker for me. I'm looking to trade in my s23 ultra, and after watching your vids, im going with the s24 ultra. Thanks!
Here are some key points from the video: * The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a well-refined foldable phone with a lighter design and a larger outer display. * The phone is enjoyable to use on the outside and inside, with the outer display being more usable for typing and other tasks. * The battery life is better than previous models, likely due to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. * The cameras haven't changed much from the Fold 4 and 5, but the low light performance has improved. * There is no S Pen support on the outer display, which is a disappointment. * The phone doesn't come with a built-in S Pen holder, so you'll need to buy an accessory if you want to keep the S Pen with you at all times. * Overall, the Fold 6 is a great foldable phone with a few minor shortcomings.
Battery size is the only reason I don't upgrade. I could care less that it doesn't have a native S Pen, I have the S22 Ultra as we speak and have never used the S Pen.
Got it today. Returning it tomorrow. Not close to quality of my ultra 23. So disappointing. It's a hassle and screen for UA-cam watching smaller than my ultra 23. But at least it's not an iPhone.
But do those OnePlus Open cameras outperform Samsungs Fold Z 6's cameras though???? Because I actually believe they don't. Yes, Samsung might not put their flagship camera on foldables (yet), but neither does the competition. Also, aside from possible bloat, the Samsung software is in many cases vastly superior, especially multitasking app support for more than two apps (versus Google's Pixel Fold 9).
That was a fair usage update. I do like the phone a lot, but the lacking S Pen support, as you mentioned, is frustrating. There is not a single decent case for the thing if you want to carry the S Pen at all times.

If they would just make a screen as wide as it is when open, i would buy that in a heartbeat. The fold needs to go. Just sell a wide screen.
I love the Fold6. The lightweight is a big deal. The trade in deals are awesome.
Any downsides?
Here is the real question, how well does it RuneScape
I love this phone, but i can hear crunchyness when unfolding now. Ive had it since release in july. Battery is also not great. I dont run a case
Is Z fold good for gaming?
Yes.
Would have enjoyed more content on the 6 as opposed to comparisons to all the previous versions, which I don’t have and never will.
Understood but honestly I shared everything I felt was worth sharing. If you want more insight on the Fold in general then my past reviews of older folds still apply to the Fold 6 as far as user experience goes.
is the zfold6 good?
Yes it's quite good! But many of the previous folds were also good too
@ShaneSymonds iam buying the magic v3 international version do u recommend to buy the z fold 6 instead of magic v3?
@@yeahthatsme6400had the V2 and sold it. Very happy with my fold 6 now
Samsung have a good trade in program, it makes it easier to upgrade.
EIGHT HOURS????? I rarely get more than 3-4! I always have Wi-Fi on and I'm always connected to a smartwatch.
Try changing your Performance Mode to 'Light.' It is doubtful you'll notice any decrease in performance.
If you do one thing: TURN OFF 5G. I went from barely 6hrs to clearing 9 hrs easily with 24hrs use.
@keng8883 I did this. I seem to get about an extra hour
@wentoneisendon6502 Not sure what you are getting for battery life, but so far today, I have 50% battery with 4 hours of screen on time. I also have NFC off as well as Always On Display.
My Note 20 Ultra 5G just cracked 4 years later. Dropped from 650 to 150 trade in...
I'm so stressed 😫 I just traded my s24ultra for the fold 6 and I'm not sure if I made a mistake. 😢
The camera bump is definitely s problem in other phones...z fold 6 is perfect
How is runescape on these phones?
It looks great, but the camera is definitely a deal breaker for me. I'm looking to trade in my s23 ultra, and after watching your vids, im going with the s24 ultra. Thanks!
I have the samsung fold 5. I'm happy with this. I'll wait for the fold 7 or 8
Why not just trsde in after you get a 6
I have the six, luv it! Have trouble with the pen.
bruh in germany the trade in price for a fold 3 is 150 euros wth
Hopefully that rumored fold 6 slim/ultra will be the foldable that samsung changes it all this fold 6 is just a fold 5 all over again
Im going to wait till the 7 comes out to make this purchase want it so bad.
The 1+ Open’s camera bump is exactly why I got rid of mine. Great device otherwise.
Z fold 6 definitely has alot of upgrades people are trippin lol I got the z fold 4
10 grams is wow that is huge difference thank you for share that with us, you nailed it scale and then 10 grams lighter Amazing
bro this Samsung galaxy zfold 6 white color is so cool bro 😊
Here are some key points from the video:
* The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a well-refined foldable phone with a lighter design and a larger outer display.
I need to decide..Fold 6 or Pixel 9 pro XL
Don't buy the foldable Bro.
The fold cameras are better than the oneplus open. Check out my fold 5 - 5 months later to see a camera comparison.
After 2 months inner screen went green and att wanted to repair rather than replace, be aware!!!!
The best case is one with a credit card holder hands down
I'm watching this video on my new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 😊
Note 20 ultra
Note 10+🎉
Watching on a 1TB iPhone 13 Pro Max thinking of trading it in
That was a fair usage update. I do like the phone a lot, but the lacking S Pen support, as you mentioned, is frustrating. There is not a single decent case for the thing if you want to carry the S Pen at all times.
Is there a case that comes with it?
@@erodablaze5869 Unfortunately, no.
I can trade my s24 ultra in and get it's for $720 right now. It's tempting, but I don't think I should
I know your brother. His name is Kyle symonds. He is a 6th grade teacher in Etown middleschool. I have him for one of my classes
Yo relax with the info lol
Outer screen not support spen is the only reason that makes me did not buy this yet
juz got my fold 6 2 days ago.i trade in my fold 5 for a fold 6.i love the fold 6.cant regret it....555
I have it with that same case and love it
