Agreed and not just the duration. IMO Samsung phones have taken the, "they just work" title from Apple. My S24 Ultra and Fold 6 worked better out of the box than my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Much smoother and less janky experience overall.
It's the only reason I'm still undecided one what phone to get. I'm on an old LG Stylo 5, but I keep phone for over handful of years usually. I definitely prefer what I'm seeing from the OnePlus phones, but the over double the amount of updates for the current Samsung devices has me leaning more to that, despite the much larger cost I'd be paying.
😮 The screen is not 1 mm wider it's 1 mm of larger overall but it's 2.7 mm wider, they shortened it which made it just 1 mm larger overall but the outer screen is 2.7 mm wider.

Better quality? Samsung had lot of issues with foldables. Samsung and long term durability are two different things unfortunately. Samsungs are really good mobile phones but hardly last 3 years!

Been using the Z Fold 5 for the last 8 months and it's been my favorite phone since the blackberry curve I had almost 20 years ago. I suppose I must have small hands but using it closed is more than fine for me, I use it folded most of the time and never have any trouble typing or viewing things. Unfolded it's still super easy to hold and use. I would say the battery life criticism is accurate though. It's not absolutely awful but it does demand daily charging whereas my previous phone, a galaxy s22, seemed like it could go days without needing to charge. The crease when unfolded is not as noticeable as it appears in videos, and at this point I don't even register it anymore. Not seeing much in the Z Fold 6 from this video that makes me feel like I have to upgrade, but if you're watching this and considering buying a Z Fold then I would recommend it.
Good video as always. Im finding im using my fold more than my S24 ultra because of the screen size. Didn't realise you are on the Kent coast... I'm from Deal myself.
Had mine for a month now and had to send it off for repair today as a black circle of dead pixels and a long line going down the crease appeared. If I lightly pressed on it a pink line of pixels appeared going right to the end of the phone. Bit gutted but still absolutely love the phone!

I love this phone. I thought I'd be annoyed by the width, but it's not terrible. The performance is slick, displays are awesome and the boxey build of it, it's all I've wanted in a phone (simple lines, metalic frosted case, easy to hold). I haven't owned a quality device this good in years (I just wish I could still run Windows Phone).Anyway.
How ironic is it that Samsung is the first to make an uninterrupted screen (no hole punch!) with 90 degree corners. I also like that when closed it just looks like a normal phone. I might bite if the price comes way down. I will also need confirmation that small amounts of dust wont get inside when closed and muck up the screen. The brick design serves a purpose and should assist with that. (Edit: 5:18, nevermind... Smh why.)

I sold my s9 ultra tab and and got the new oneplus pad 2 for around the house...what a tablet by the way for €500 with free gifts and is manageable in the hands unlike the ultra 9..it was just too big!! But yeah you're right with the combination..I LOVE my ultra phones as always..just use a tablet at home and it's covered. The Fold 6 was my first foldable phone and i didn't enjoy it to be honest.
Samsung's foldables are just walking adverts for Samsung displays to sell their foldable screens to OEMS. They hold all the patents and cost them billions to create. They don't want to compete with their customers, so you just get tiny incremental revisions while the competitors blast ahead and Sammy still makes gazillions of dollars. Anyone who buys a Z fold or flip needs to ask themselves how much Samsung is paying them to advertise the handset.
