    Just curious have you put any new content out lately I subscribed to your channel that I haven’t gotten any notifications and question for you what’s your average rate of return on shoes and could you put a video out on what’s your average sale price on your brands that you like to pick up like sketchers Nike Adidas and so forth I’m selling some shoes but I have a bunch of shoes that haven’t sold yet just curious thanks man

      We’ve been focusing on Instagram content. We have 0.4% return rate. We sold 7400+ pairs last year with 34 returns. Average sale price depends on the marketplace you use.

    My main source of inventory of all things are storage units. Bought two 10 x 20's that looked to be full of toys and video games. They were, however, there were also tons of shoes. Some new. Still culling the garbage shoes but have over 1000 pair so far. Ridiculous amount but once they get into listing selling pipine it should make for an awesome profit. Cool vids you guys have. Just discovered your channel.

    Does poshmark or Mercari allow returns for used shoes ? eBay is ridiculous, I sold a brand new pair of Levi’s the guy wore them then wanted to return them sent pix of a different pair of stained jeans . I had to refund him got the jeans back no stains ? But now I can’t sell them as new 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

      Poshmark and Mercari have much better seller protection than EBay.

    How many items and what are you donating back to savers to get that 20% off coupon ? Where are the items coming from that you donate back ?

      2 pairs of shoes in a plastic bag. We have been testing wholesale purchases and the pairs we are donating don’t meet our requirements to sell.

    Do you guys clean inside the insoles of the shoes? I find a lot of the time when I'm cleaning shoes that look very clean and I take out the insoles, they have a lot of dirt and pet hair inside them occasionally. This adds some time to the cleaning process but I feel like it's necessary in order to not get any negative reviews from buyers finding out that the inside of the shoes are dirty. Just wondering if this is part of your cleaning process as well.

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  3 роки тому +1

      We always try to source shoes that are in great condition inside and out so that we don’t have to spend a lot of time cleaning them. You’re right….the stricter you source the easier it is to get great reviews.

    Hey Rnzy, thanks so much for all of the knowledge you guys share! My questions are, when it comes to checking comps, do you check comps for each shoe on each platform you sell on or do you pick one platform and just check comps on that one site? I'm currently just checking comps on Poshmark but wondering if the trends are pretty different between platforms, do I need to be checking multiple for each shoe?
    Second question is, what have you guys set as your profit minimum that you go by when deciding if a pair is worth picking up or not?
    Again thanks for sharing what you've learned, and congrats on the pregnancy, I'm due this fall as well. Here's to happy healthy babies!

      Each marketplace has its own value for each pair so it only makes sense to check comps everywhere you plan to sell the pair. Pairs sell for different prices on Poshmark than they do on Mercari. We look to worst case scenario double our money after all fees and taxes but we average 3X - 4X our money after all fees. Doesn’t matter what we do though….your goal should be to improve on what your numbers were yesterday 👊👊

    • @rnzynow

      Source shoes that have “insides” in great condition. If you want to go a step further try spraying some grandma’s until it foams and use a soft bristle brush. We have links to that stuff in the description of this video 🤝

    Question, sold a new pair of Pumas in the original box on Mercari, if I put them in a 1095 box I am over the 2lbs, $12.00 shipping threshold. If I remember correctly that is what you suggested in a shipping video. Am I missing something ?

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  3 роки тому +1

      Yes. On Mercari we always select 3 lbs (unless the shoes weigh more than that) because there isn’t a difference in price between 2lbs and 3lbs. On Mercari it always makes sense to make sure you know the weight as you list the item because it’s required when listing. If you guess then you run into situations like you’re in.

    How soon can you get by not reselling as soon as you source? Is it still profitable if listing a day or two later?

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  3 роки тому

      Yes it is still profitable. Some marketplaces market value changes daily so simply make sure you have systems in place to get everything listed. Most people don’t and then they build a pile of unlisted items that never sell.

    Hey man. Thanks for much for the video. I was wondering what you do when you have shoes that haven’t sold in a couple weeks. Do you keep them for a while before lowering the price. I’m still learning which pairs sell the best and I’ve bought some that I can tell are hard to sell. Just wondering what I should do as I agree with you I don’t want to store shoes I want to sell them. Thank you!!! 🤙

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  3 роки тому +3

      When shoes aren’t selling it either means you didn’t research what they were selling for on the marketplaces you’re using OR you need to improve your listing. Best way to prevent stale inventory is to do more research before you buy.
