No one has shown off the 90 degree dongle. That lil guy is a huge game changer. Makes me now look at the Smooth instead of DJIs or Instas. Thanks man❤

@@joecline__ Hey :) Actually I don't have either so was wondering about them. What I do have is a DJI OM 4 unopened which I will probably sell. It seems to be in high demand as it's selling for about the same price or even more than these. Not sure why that would be.

I’m a little upset that their apps don’t make use of the rear microphone on the iPhones. I usually like to record a subject in front of me speaking but all you hear is my voice behind the camera and way to loud. I had a Hohem before the 5s which used the rear facing microphone which makes way more sense. Even native iPhone camera app knows to use that microphone and not the front one

Quick question, how do you get the GO II to work as a recorder with out connecting to it's receiver? I tried to use mine as just a recorder but afterwords there was No audio that was recorded. Setting I need to consider? Thx

How do you plug the Lavalier dongle into the phone? It looks like that end of the phone is right up against the housing of the Zhiyun.

Hi, Firstly, thank you for the ZHIYUN smooth 5 review. It is good and comprehensive too. But I would like to know if I'm using Samsung Note 10 lite, Would I able to get all the features of Smooth 5 on the Gimbal as well as the apps function properly? As most of the reviews was made with iPhone, so I'm wondering the Smooth 5 will actually good for Android phone.

Filmic pro on Android interfaces super well with this gimbal the apps it comes with i personally dont like but filmic pro and this gimbal is amazing

When I saw first the Q5 I was thinking that this would be some kind of issue, more if you use extra lenses (mean extra weight to be balanced).
This is why I went for a DJI OM4 because the clearance for the lightning port is OK.
You're right, a L shape adapter or separate record+sync are the only work arround.
Another solution would be a bluetooth mic that would pair with the smartphone direcly but I didn't found any good quality one.
We have already spent a lot of money in gimbal and our wired microphone. We don't want to spent more
