Very nice video, really liked your personality and the fact you didn't have music playing.
Just wanted to drop back by and tell you how great these work. I have had them in the field for past 2 hunting seasons and I'm going to make some more. Great stuff.
Awesome man. I haven't used anything else for about 10 years. They really are nice to use
Went to the hardware store this morning it worked great!
You'll never go back to straps! ;)
this is such a daft idea its ....genius ....untill it was in the tree i did not know how it was going to work..............very very clever.
had to subscribe
It works great. Youll never go back to straps again. Thanks for stopping by and joining us!
Solid setup. No tools needed is awesome!
Very nice tips. They’re no go for public land in Florida (can’t drill into the trees or use bait on public land). But looks like a good idea for the farm.
There is ab alternate method you can use without having to screw into the trees. Youd just use a plate instead of a screw. But then you have to use a strap for the plate, so it almost defeats the purpose, but itll allow you to get the cam up higher out of other peoples view.
Same for NH - can't do anything to damage a tree on public land, and on private need written permission from the land owner.
Great idea and a simple and cheap way to make a trail cam mount. I am using them now after watching this.
Good deal! Like I tell everyone else.... You wont go back to straps after using these. Thanks for watching

Awesome man! You'll never go back to straps
good tree mount idea. first thing i do when i get a new camera is throw the strap that comes with it in a drawer.that strap makes a camera so easy for thieves to spot.
I agree, thanks for watching🍻
Wow! Great advice! Thank you so much!
I like the camera mount tip. Very nice.
They are great in my opinion. Ive yet to go back to straps.

Add a rubber washer between the eye bolts and it makes a great friction washer. very easy to adjust and tighten by finger.
not a bad idea!
Great ideas
Excellent video, great idea even if it’s nor yours.
Awesome method thanks for showing us that🖒
Well done
ingenuis lil mount bracket for cams! I got that stuff in an ole junk drawer at home too.
Nice! The chainsaw part was a good laugh 😂
Nice job! Keep up the good work.
Great idea!!!
I'm going to do that but also strap a large hose clamp around the tree and camera with a padlock . Make the thiefs work really hard to be successful
Thank you dear I love the ideas... I'm using regular nuts in case someone wants to steal my cam
Cool thanks for sharing ❤️
Dude really like what I'm seeing on your page.
Thanks man, I appreciate it
Gotta wonder who were the 8 idiots who dissed this video. I knew most of this stuff and have used these mounts. This is a good presentation of the concept and build. Kudos.
Probably folks who cant screw, screws into trees in their area. Thanks for watching and the kind words!
So cool!
Hey, Hi from the Missouri Ozarks and thanks for the good idea, I was thinking about putting together something better for mounting my cameras and get rid of the straps.
You'll love these, Scott. Thanks for watching and good luck
Nice share
It's a big like. Have a good day to u.
Godbless 👍♥️
Super Idee
Now this is what I call an "everyman" solution. Peace.
excellent
Looks like my kinda of channel
Yours looks down my ally too! Thanks for stopping by
Georgia!!
Yes, Sir. Born and raised
I could steal that in a heart beat . I use 3 1/3 to 4 in wood star screws
Its more about having 0 limits with the mount. It only helps against theft if you have it up high enough. Without the straps its harder to see the cam also
Are the deer gonna get their tongue cut on the plastic? Just wondering. Thanks for sharing
Deer are extremely tough animals. In fact, one of their favorite things to eat on is briar. More than likely the plastic won't phase them. Thanks for watching and asking questions👍
Does cameras look s expensive
Great idea but i cant use this around here :( unless you got a way of making it theft proof. Any idea how i can get my cams mounted and not be stolen. Just got 4 cams stolen off me last week.
That's whats great about these. If you put them up high out of view, thief's wont see them/cant reach them.
Wouldn`t it be nice if we could just remove the thieves from the gene pool all together.
@@chuckward9793 I tell ya what, aint nothing I hate more than a thief
Hey! Nice to meet you. Your one of those handy guys aren't you?
Thanks for stopping by! I do what I can😎
What about Trail Cams without the threaded mounting hole?
I guess if one wanted, they could make their own threaded adapter with a long nut/ coupling nut and some jb weld. Or something along those lines
@@StrungOutOutdoors Touche', now that's thinking outside the box. Thanks!
You do your own traps.
I want/need a stand that can hover high over a dumpster facing down to catch people doing nasty s**t
If you can screw it in by hand, a thief can screw it out by hand. So how does this rig stop trail cam theft?
Bill, it allows you to place the cam just about anywhere. Ideally, youd put it up higher, out of sight. Not having a strap makes it a lot harder to pick out. With it being higher, its an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing. And unless they have something to reach, they wont fool with it usually. Thanks for watching!
@@StrungOutOutdoors I'd like Locked up and out of sight, out of mind better. If the happen to see it, they will take it without being locked around the tree. I do like the mount you made, great idea.
Great idea, but come on you gave that peanut butter lick didn't you.
lol you know it!😂
Rev up them chainsaws!
go big or go home 😂.
