    Great idea. BUT, I plan to use an old black sock or bag first. No need to put glue directly on the camera! For ease of removal. (Although I admit, some people wouldn't care about that) I have to add, I really appreciated your message at the end of the video!

      That's a great idea about the sock and a good tip. I choose to glue it right to the camera, because it just made it easier to open the access door to change batteries and such, especially when I mount them 10 feet off the ground. Since then I have no worries about placing the cameras out and up high like that. Great job with the camo , but the stick sticking out 4-5 inches on each side of the tree defeats the purpose and makes it stick out. • @thefrugalsportsman
      @thefrugalsportsman  Рік тому

      The camera is plastic. That is true, but to break the attachment point isn't as easy as it looks and it would render the camera useless to the person who wanted to steal it as there would be no way for them to hang it and it might break the housing itself destroying the camera totally. If someone wants to take something they are going to take it, but the cable is a deterrent in that in adds an additional step. If people saw the camera and that it was just held with paracord they might try to tie a knife to a stick and cut it down. The cable helps stop that type of practice. Thanks for watching and may God bless!

      I do appreciate you and your feedback and your opinion is welcome. I know too that there are some that think my endings are "silly" but the truth is there is nothing more important than were we will spend eternity. I know too that there are many people that don't want to be preached at, but of the tens of thousands of views I've received on my channel there are so many that comment how much my message at the end meant to them and even drew them closer to God. I started this channel for that purpose which was to share about creation and even more importantly to share about the one who created it, his love for us and how we can have our sins forgiven and spend eternity with him instead of being destined for hell which is very real. My heart really is to help people and sometimes that means sharing the truth about something they are not aware of like a God who loves and is will to forgive our sins if we are willing to repent and come to him. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching and may God bless you richly!

    At the end you talk about God yet you kill Gods Creatures. Genesis 1:29 KJV "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat".

    • @thefrugalsportsman
      @thefrugalsportsman  Рік тому +4

      The KJV does use the word meat, but other versions use the word food. Genesis 9:3 KJV says: Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Esau hunted meat for his father Isaac, Genesis 27:3 KJV says: Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison. Nimrod a descendant of Noah was a hunter as it says in Genesis 10:9 KJV: He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord.” These are just a few scriptures showing that hunting was a part of life during Biblical times as it is today and sanctioned by God for our use. Hope that helps clarify things a bit. Thanks for watching and may God bless you!

      @@bushratbeachbum That's the whole point none of us are good people. All we have to do is weigh our life against the 10 commandments or God moral law and we will find we are all sinners. The reason I think people oppose God is simply because they love their sin. I was the same way. That's why I needed the forgiveness of God. We are free to Live and believe how we want, but know that someday we will all stand before God and give an account for our life and without us repenting and putting our faith in Jesus there will be no defense. If i'm wrong then its no big deal we will all be just dead in the ground, but what if the Bible is right? Something to think about.

    • @thefrugalsportsman

      You are welcome for the video I hope it was a help. I think we have to first realize that God loves us more than anything. He longs to have a relationship with you and me, but our sin has separated us from God and from having that relationship the way it was meant to be. Sin is a serious thing with God, because it is the exact opposite of God's holiness. Our sin no matter how small makes us unclean before God and brings us far short of God's standard of holiness. Picture you are so thirsty, and I hand you a glass of ice water. But before you drink it I tell you that I placed just one drop of the Covid-19 virus in the water. So let me ask you. Are you going to drink it. Probably not. Because as pure as the water is that one drop of the virus makes it unacceptable. So it is with our sin. As much as God loves us, our sin makes us unacceptable before him. In fact the penalty of our sin is death and eternal separation from him forever. I know that sounds sever, but that is what the bible says in Romans 6:28. But he loves us so much that he was willing to send his son to earth taking on the form of man and paying that penalty for us by living a perfect sinless life, paying the ultimate sacrifice by dying on a cross to pay that penalty of sin and then raising from the dead to prove all of it was true. Although we can't be holy on our own we can receive the free gift that God gave us through Jesus Christ his Son (John 1:12) and have our sins forgiven by believing in and putting our faith in Jesus and what he did on the cross. It is then through our faith in him that we can be bought back into a right relationship with God where we can live eternally in heaven with him. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life. although I love to hunt and fish the main reason for our channel is to share that story and message of God's love with those that need to hear it. All I can do is share how he changed my life, what the bible says about his message of hope and how real he is to me, it is up to others to either trust and receive God's gift of eternal life or follow after their own way. My prayer is that God might reveal himself and draw you to him that you might experience him and his fullness all he has for you! Thanks so much for watching and for sharing as well. Hoping all the best for you, and may God bless you and your week!

      Well,we have to agree to disagree.
      Can you find anywhere in the Bible Jesus saying I am God worship me? Or I am son of God worship me?
      The answer is NO.
      You are saying,God punished his"son for our sins!
      It's like me saying when I gone home,my older daughter broked the TV,so I punished the younger one.
      Isn't that unjust?
      Is it God so unjust?
      If God works like this,l don't want such of God.
      So,my God is different from yours.
      My God is only ONE (no son), real God whom created me, you and everything.
      Have a good time.

      The fact of it is is that the Bible in many places declares Jesus at God almighty. 1 John 5:20, Titus 2:13, Isaiah 9:6. The Bible also talks about Jesus being the Son of God over 40 times (feel free to Google it for the verses) so I'm not sure where your thoughts on that come from. The thing of it is is that Jesus was there in the beginning as part of the God head (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) Genesis 1:26 "God said let US create man in OUR image". Plural not singular. I said that God loved you and me so much and that is true. Jesus freely offered his life for you and me. No one took it from him. He himself offered it to pay for our sins, because of his love for us. It's not my job to convince you or my desire to debate. You have a choice to believe what you choose. I'm just hear to share the message as I said. Maybe our conversation will prompt you to look deeper into the Bible and the Things of God. God loves you and so do I! Take care and God bless!

      Glad you liked the first half of the video. But I can’t leave God out of it because the whole reason this channel exists is to share about God and his love for us and how we can all be forgiven through Jesus Christ. When people are offended about me sharing about God it lets me know that they believe God exists as they wouldn’t be offended by something they felt doesn’t exist. We all know in our heart that God exists. Our conscience and creation around us prove it to us. But our nature is to rebel and sin against God. But even in our rebellion God loved us so much that he sent Jesus to take on our punishment for sin and to die in our place. He made a way for us to be forgiven so that if we simply turned back to God and put our faith in Christ and what he did on the cross God would see us as righteous and acceptable because of Christ. He is the only way any of us can come to God the Father (John 14:6). Life is short, but eternity is forever! Once we die there are no second chances, no do overs, Hell is very real and lasts forever and the only way to escape it because of our sin is by trusting Jesus as our savior. Because of my love for others my goal here is to just share that message. Whatever people choose to do with that message is between them and God. I too was far from God until someone shared with me God’s plan of forgiveness and my life was changed when I put my faith in Christ. I will be praying for you that God might draw you to himself as he did me and that you might see the truth about who he really is and his deep love for you. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts. Take care and may God bless you richly!
