That was a fantastic finish Gabe! Even more special because it was from the back of the boat. Looks like your boater was really good about keeping you in a position to be competitive. If the co-angler is doing good, that could work to the advantage of the boater, in seeing what they're biting on. Looks like Finley was taking care of some security breach, Haha.
Awesome derby Gabe. Your boater was a great guy to fish with. Congratulations on your 5th place victory. That’s awesome considering the pressured lake and fishing out of the back of the boat. Plus all the other co anglers you fished against. Awesome content as always. Keep up the great work. God bless
Well done Gabe! Watched the whole thing, I'm glad you were able to grab your check before the MLF crew left. I may have to try your secret worm here at my next tournament on Eufala!
Man great job on keeping them honest. Congrats on a great finish. Side note, about time that cohost stopped sleeping on the job and turned into a guard dog 😂. I have a ton of footage to go through from Grand Toyota.
You're literally only person other than me who throws that jig. I had a good thing going monte lol. Just joking brother. However that jig absolutely works and gets hung less than anything I've fished as far as jigs. Shame you can hardly find them now.God bless sir
Good job of catching bass. I'm glad you placed 5th. You had a good partner and you were on some fish but you still had to catch them and you did. Congratulations!
Watching from Canada, we really do not see dock fisherman often. There is enough water to fish to exclude docks and its just seems intrusive. Not to mention not alot of largies are around, but a smallmouth does call docks home, just get left alone.
Thanks. I just did some research. A pound of crawfish has 67 grams of protein and a pound of shad has 76 grams of protein. this is what I came up with based off about 10 mins of research. I think crawfish just become available in the early spring and bass take advantage of them.
Congrats on your finish, hopefully U got your trophy. A buddy of mine tied for 5th once & they never sent his. I’ve got a lil “secret” worm also, that I’ve probably made over $5k as a Co on it the past 3/4yrs. Had a 2nd this yr on it & lost that bfl by ONE ounce. They eat it on every lake, I just have to figure out the color they want. It’s not even a “big” name brand, just a lil small tackle shop worm. I’m so secretive about it, that I take it outta the original pack & put em in a Zoom bag 🤫🤫🤫
Okay I have a question about bfl rules. I've been researching the bfl because I'm interested in fishing on the co-angler side. I was reading in their rules that the minimum length limit is 12 in. Of course unless the prevailing state limit is higher than they use that. Here's my question it says for short fish that there's a 1 lb penalty for every short fish weighed in. So if you catch a 14 and a half inch two pounder, why wouldn't you weigh it in especially as a co-angler and take the 1 lb penalty? Or even if you had a pound and a half fish that was a little bit short. It's good for points. Am I misunderstanding the rule or is that correct?
Great finish, congrats buddy 👏
Thanks Issac. Digging the new 1/2 oz Procaster.
Nice work Gabe!
Thanks buddy. Appreciate it.
Great job! Congrats
Thank you!
Awsome smackdown 👍
Thanks ✌
Great video gabe I managed first and had an outstanding boater threw a jig all day long. Keep making this content it’s really great!!
Awesome. Congrats. Seems like a jig was the deal out of the back of the boat

Awesome job. Congratulations on your 5th place finish!!!! 🎣✌🏼
I was fishing same day as bfl I was catching them on the first secondary point with a jig as well. Near gravois off main lake
Cool. Must have been a pattern then.
Good going, Gabe!! Congrats on a top five finish!!!

I actually hoped I’d get to meet you at the tournament and low and behold I got a cameo… well done tin horse
Heck ya. Glad you made the video and thanks
GET SOME!!👊🤘
Great show to many houses and docks there for me 😂😂😂
Good Tournament Gabe. I tied with you for 5th in this one. Threw a jig all day and like you I had a great boater. Good luck in the next one.
Sweet. Really appreciate the comment. A good boater makes all the difference. We were both one small upgrade away from a win. Good luck down the road

Congratulations on a great day Gabe .
Thanks

O Ya Baby
@@TheTinHorseMonty I wrote that comment at the time of the sammich. After watching you had a really good tourney…good job!💵💵
Right on brother. Nice work on the 5th place finish.
Thanks man
Congrats Bubba. Great finish.
Thanks bro
I need to get in on the jighead bite...not something I do much. Thanks for the info and great video again.
You bet. Thanks
Gotta love that lug 🪱 worm
👍
Sweet. Congrats

Thanks buddy. I appreciate it. It was a good day.
Boater was super cool I like the way he fishes slow. Lots of people I fish with fish way to fast for my style!! Good Job Gabe!!
Agree. Had a great draw.

Thanks for the feedback Mike. Been to Canada once and loved it!!!
That was a rather big graph on the front of Blaukat's boat. Interesting
LOL
Nice job! I've heard that crawfish actually have more protein than shad. And big females prefer crawfish when they can get them.

I call it the turtle pattern, flip up under a turtle usually catch one
LOL
Nice....
Thanks
Nice

Dang... 1 ounce. I would rather loose by 5 pounds. I understand about the worm. Can't let everything out of the bag.🤣
Loved it !!! Who makes the worm?
Thanks

Good question. You're short fish will not be weighed in and you will get a 1 pound penalty applied to the rest of your weight..
3/16 shakey head with a MH casting rod? You must hate spinning rods as much as me. 🤣
haha I still fish an 1'8th oz shakeyhead on a spinning rod but I like that hookset on anything heavier.
Cant get baitwrx check out to work.
Hmmm. That interesting. Should be able to put code THM10 in the code box and get 10% off.
