Yo throw the live scope in the trash it's ruining the sport. No skill gap anymore every pro circuit will turn into a constant rotation of guys. There won't be anything you can do to separate your self from other anglers in a few yrs. It's becoming a joke. Trust me in 5 yrs the playing field will be so level you'll see some of the best pros getting kicked out of circuits and back to the minors
@@Theburningseason it not ruining anything. We haven’t had a single tournament all year won with solely livescope. It’s just people that don’t have it that hate it.

Fact is that livescope plays sometimes and most of the time common sense fishing wins the majority of the events and still cashes checks at every event. It just doesn’t fit the narrative that people want to distribute.

Shaky head fishing can be frustrating... I wonder if the thicker/fatter worm has something to do with it. Maybe use a wider gap hook?

Same navy grade sonar pretty lame little cheesy u got guys targeting individual fish for a for a hr, granted fish finders are essential considering depth fiding bait etc,but its getting real out of control side imageing was bad enough but looking at structure is reasonable i love this format though i think would be cool to implement a no culling rule like u got roll the dice on keeping such fish are roll the dice to get a bigger 1

I doubt anyone will see this comment, but I have NEVER EVER been a fan of electronics / Radar for finding fish: That's NOT fishing, it's like shooting fish in a barrel, and requires NO SKILL as an Angler.
You want to impress me and others who have the same opinion, then MLF needs to get rid of electronics for EVERY tournament.
And again, this is YOUR fault, YOUR fault as in Professional, Sponsored Anglers, who haven't stayed true to themselves or the sport of Bass Fishing and make everyone think they can't be successful without the most current and expensive sonar / gear on the market.
And in all honesty, it's killing the ability for new anglers to learn the art, because Bass fishing does take some skill WHEN YOU"RE NOT USING ELECTRONICS.
Now, do I catch Bass, well YES I do, but w/o electronics it forces you to actually LEARN the lay of the land and structures and where the fish are possibly at.
The ONLY thing I wish I had was a boat, there are some really nice ones for sale for around 3000, but can't afford that on veteran benefits, not in this economy.

People exaggerate the electronics impact. We’ve had 3 tournaments is a row where they’ve been pretty much a none factor. It’s just something that people like to complain about.

This is the way pro fishing should be.
I think they should have no electronics tournaments. Some of the guys stare at that shit and fish like they are playing Xbox or something. It's kinda funny. But yea. The guys that are real good at using and understanding their electronics are the guys that win sometimes. Everyone fishes hard at the top levels so u can't out fish anyone with effort ..electronics is the edge. Because you cant just rely on luck.Terminal tackle and rod real setups is the other edge. Your rod doesn't have enuff bone. And change your hook! Your not jacking their jaws hard enuff with that setup! It's too light and you probably had a cross wind slacking the line just enuff to not stick the hook.

No seriously I just have 2 Lowrance with GPS & downscan . Then when I go to certain lakes I have maps I can load. So im not totally lost and that's it.
I honestly can't say I have ever caught a fish because I seen it on the graph. Unless I was jigging for crappie. I've bass fished my whole life. Started just like you. But I'm mostly a river fisherman(upper mississippi river). When I go Pools I haven't been to in a few years I get my corps of engineers charts out and start there. Mostly I read the water with my eyes. Graphs don't come into play much because I'm almost always fishing 5 foot and less. And there is tons of shit in the water.
Did alright today. Late afternoon till 730pm Water temp 67. Receding high water . Trophyhunter 4.75 inch rattlesnake in chartreuse pepper on vcm 1/8th Oz rugby head. Working the back ends of every pocket and creek. In the pool. They was wanting pretty much a dead stick kinda strange as soon as you stop working it and let it sit. You'd have a fish on. Yellow line was the real deal today. SON!
