We've had the same issue on Truman lake just above you. Lots of bites but no keepers. Plus they're setting up on weird stuff that they normally don't. Making for a really hard fish. Forces you to get creative, places and bait wise. Good luck this weekend. You always figure it out
LOZ kicked my butt last weekend in the Solo Pro series. It’s a love hate relationship with that lake. She’s kicked my ass more than one time. And the big boats whooped my butt too last weekend with the weather in the upper 90s. Can’t wait for cold weather and they’ll put those big boats up for the year. My kidneys still hurt !!!
Man fall fishin on deeper rocky lakes can be so feast or famine 😂 insane one day and they’re vacant the next almost like they understand quicker these days that they are being fished for
I know I've had days I caught a few here and there and then realized when it was all said and done that I knew less when it was over than when it began. 😅

You never know when an ounce is going to cost you money. I always try and make sure I have a limit . But I live in Ohio and fishing is usually tough here.

Lake of the Ozarks: 93 miles reservoir length, 1,150 miles of shoreline. (More miles of shoreline than California has of coastline.)

Problem is that lake is getting beat to death hosting 20+ tournaments there a week for most of the year...day or night, it never stops
