    I'm impressed how they somehow made Sprouse character, the stable nice respectful one, the funner more likable choice. Usually it's the reverse. But he even made data analysis somehow sweet to the point it's almost romantic. It's really a shame he didn't play a larger role, because he was arguably the coolest part of the story and he barely did anything.

    • @Overseer2579
      @Overseer2579 Рік тому +36

      That’s for a calculated reason. The filmmakers (and Anna Todd as a writer) want the target audience to think that good, decent men, no matter how much more compatible you are with them on every level, are always boring, too scared to make a move, etc., and that it’s really the immature, needy bad boy that you don’t get along with or have anything in common with but you like the sex, that’s good for you. It pisses, I think I can assume, everybody off, and it’s why I actually posted a list of infinitely better teen movies on my Instagram yesterday

But then in this one, we see Tessa acting like an actual adult with a real job and in the real world, and Hardin is still acting like an immature guy who never changed, which really highlights how childish he is.
