Hahaa honestly if I didn’t know you I’d be one of those bitches but otherwise I would know better. I hope you’re holding up ! sending you lots of love 💐 !!
Just a btw new lungs doesn’t mean theyre cured, it means that they get years and years added to their short unfair lives. There’s no cure to CF right now, so even if they both got new lungs, they couldn’t be together 😔 I hope they can someday find a permanent cure for it.
Wait, seriously!? There was a little girl on a doctor show that had Cystic Fibrosis. Her life was just one big tragedy one after another and she was only 13. Her dad left her, her mom died in a car crash with her in it so she almost died in the car too. So she became an orphan, she has cystic fibrosis so that means a lot of times in the hospital, and when she finally gets lungs and gets adopted you’re telling me she will die anyways. Unfair world we live in. I know this was a fictional show but some of the scenes with her in it made me cry so hard. And I still think about her sometimes because her storyline was one of my favorites in the show. Btw the person that adopted her was actually a doctor that worked in that hospital because he took an interest in her and started to form a connection with her. It was a really sweet story.
@@molly_parker_1847 yeah unfortunately it is not a permanent thing. I have CF and as of now my life span is like maybe 30-40, I know the longest living person with CF only lived to be 86 which is a really long time for someone who has been diagnosed with CF.
@@molly_parker_1847 yes, cf is permanent, and I have it, though only a mild case. Before any type of medication at all, people born with cf only lived to age two. Nowadays they die around 30, which is still not old but it's a lot better than just two. People with mild cf can live a while tho. Its more of a mucus based thing, and affects more organs than just the lungs so changing lungs can't stop it at all. Also, another fact that's kinda sad, boys born with cf can never have kids, all men with cf are always 100% infertile.
The plot of the movie makes a lot more sense if you are familiar with Cystic Fibrosis as a disease. People with CF are very prone to respiratory infections, but they are generally not very contagious to healthy people, however, other people with CF they can tend to be a risk to. It seems that this movie is about a very strong bacteria that could prove fatal. And all of the people in this trial have CF and respiratory infections can kill you, even with new lungs that are not a cure for CF. So really he is doing the most selfless thing by telling her that they can't be together, he would rather see her live a long and happy life with new lungs than a shorter one with him.

The real Claire was amazing. Her UA-cam videos are fantastic and inspiring for anyone to see. She died right after receiving her new set of lungs from contracting an infection. She never got to leave the hospital to take a breath of fresh air with her new lungs.
I love how in every movie commentary Dylan eventually hopes it will become a horror movie! Like stab someone or beat the to death, secret stalker/psycho. Love it! ps, they could never be together cause even if they both got new lungs they still have cystic fibrosis, which means they can still infect each other and potentially destroy their lungs again.
@@jmacjr101 The movie mentions there's no cure, but the transplant can extend the life period of the patient, althought it's very risky to do, because your body can reject the lungs and etc.
The way her sister died is actually how a guy I went to high school with died. He'd gone cliff jumping with his friends dozens of times and this ONE time, he hit the water wrong. His friends were posting about it on Facebook before his family was notified. It was horrible.

Sydney Helton well if they're teenagers then there might just be a ten years later barely (the normal lifespan of a person with cf as of now is 30 years. It used to be 2 years. Though people with mild cf like me might even be able to make it to 70)
Pride JA it’s a deadly and incurable lung disease (that’s technically two diseases) and it causes extra mucus to be made. It also does a lot of other stuff like awful breathing problems. I have cf and it’s January right now and I’ve had the same god damn cold since September. (The mucus makes sicknesses stick, even the simple ones like a cold that should have only lasted like a week) I only have a mild case of cf tho

I love your channel! You’ve made me laugh so much over the past few days. I actually knew Claire. She went to my high school and she was the most extraordinary woman. She did, in fact, make these vlogs about her experiences with cystic fibrosis and being in the hospital. She also did Ted talks and all sorts of things. There is a foundation called “Claire’s Place Foundation” if anyone is interested in donating to help others ❤️
Just reading that gave me goosebumps in my lungs and I’m healthy but it’s terrible to know what happens to a person😣 it’s never fair and it’s so cool that you actually knew her. No one deserves that but did will actually exist or was that fiction?
Carly May sadly there is no such thing as fully recovering from CF... even after getting the lung transplant she would only have increased her life by about 5 years at most.
Carly May fully recovered? Girl... If you're born with cf you live with it forever, which unfortunately forever is only 30 years as of nowadays, in mild cases maybe even 70 years, but there's no cure. This is not to say anything about the jokes in the video, I do understand dark humour but I just wanted to let you know :)
Wow that’s so sad. Is it dedicated to her or did these events actually happen? I’m assuming not, (but I know she does indeed have cf)
@@emmah1750
They dedicated the movie to her
@@reesewithoutaspoon thats nice! Thanks for informing me
@@emmah1750some parts are based on her
like stella having youtube
claire had youtube channel
Dude, the writers were either hella into “The fault in our stars” or freaking loved vine
It's based off a real story
@@kahti170 five feet apart? No it's not
@JusticeFor Alexei Claire was the inspiration for Stella's character, but the story itself is not based on a real story. Claire ended up dying shortly after a lung transplant in 2018.
@JusticeFor Alexei their love story was literally what the movie was about. would've been better if it was only about the girl.
@JusticeFor Alexei no it wasn't based on claires life she was just an inspiration like the person above just said
Dylan: at least you have his truffles
Stella: *throws truffles*
That was like 2-300 dollars worth of truffles too
Dylan: Well ya lodt that too 👁👄👁
I died at that part 💀💀
“LiKe mE oR iLl kIlL mYsElF” the fact that this made me literally belly laugh is an issue 😂
i watched this movie because it’s on netflix now and i’m quite literally sobbing.
*The guy's on the floor, nurse is like "no pulse", every one's crying*
Me: what are you doing!? Chest compressions, chest compressions, chest compressions!!
This reminded me of a doctor and a youtuber- Dr Mike
@@iceicebaby55 OMG yes, me too 😂
Whenever someone in a movie passes out, the first thing going through my head is Dr Mike saying "Chest compressions, chest compressions". While the characters in the movie immediately gave up or start crying I'm sitting there like: Bro do CHEST COMPRESSIONS!
@@checkyhuf Dr Mike would be proud😂
If there's no pulse then he's already dead chest compression won't change a thing.
No, you start Chest Compressions WHEN there is no pulse to get the heart beating again
dylan in a pink hoodie and glasses is the cutest shit i have EVER SEEN
julia e it’s so sanitary
See him without that hoodie and you'll be shook😂
Giving us the big soft boy energy in the best way possible

I love how he can find a connection between Twilight and EVERY SINGLE MOVIE😂😂😂
“You can still see him if you go back into the room” damn
Hey Dylan, you should wear pink more you be looking sanitary ;)

Only Dylan can make an extremely sad movie this funny with his jokes
12:34 “at least he’s got his truf-“ *smashes truffles* “welp ok”
The real Claire was amazing. Her UA-cam videos are fantastic and inspiring for anyone to see. She died right after receiving her new set of lungs from contracting an infection. She never got to leave the hospital to take a breath of fresh air with her new lungs.
She didn't contract an infection she had a stroke.
Oh no...
Wait this is based on her oh I’d be so
Issued this is so bad
Yes you are rig ht, she really was an amazing person. I am glad this movie celebrated her and educated people. RIP Claire!
I'm pretty sure she knew this movie was being made but she died right before it was
released
"If you don't touch heads through glass, youre not in love" this had me dying
MATEA HEJ HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
its giving "dickhead says what?" "wha't?" energy lol
I love how in every movie commentary Dylan eventually hopes it will become a horror movie! Like stab someone or beat the to death, secret stalker/psycho. Love it!
ps, they could never be together cause even if they both got new lungs they still have cystic fibrosis, which means they can still infect each other and potentially destroy their lungs again.
Dylan: 'Oh his name is Will! But does he have the 'will' to live?'
Will ten minutes later: *standing on the edge of the roof*
The whole movie Dylan is going on about she’s gonna be cured
In the beginning of the movie they tell u there is no cure
His hope was strong
Transplant is not a cure. This movie is a bunch of bullshit.
I think they finally found a cure or at least a better treatment! It’s a huge break through!
@@jmacjr101 The movie mentions there's no cure, but the transplant can extend the life period of the patient, althought it's very risky to do, because your body can reject the lungs and etc.
his strain of bacteria, denied him a chance of a transplant he just didn't want her to contrant it and also be denied the chance to get transplants
"If you don't touch heads through glass, you're not in love." *Facts, Dylan, facts.* 😹
Hey Dylan, I have Cystic Fibrosis (the genetic disease from the movie) and your reaction vid made me laugh. Thanks for the hilarious commentary!
“If your not touching foreheads through glass, you are not in love” - Dylan 2019
dylan: *talks about how he will lose it if will dies*
nurse *says that will is fine*
dylan: "well, that's disappointing." 😭
I love how his jokes aren’t that funny but he makes himself laugh, that’s all that matters. 😂
Honestly I think that's what I'm liking iin his movie reaction videos. If you can't make yourself laugh, how are you going to make others laugh?
Thaaaat's me
I laugh 😅

The way her sister died is actually how a guy I went to high school with died. He'd gone cliff jumping with his friends dozens of times and this ONE time, he hit the water wrong. His friends were posting about it on Facebook before his family was notified. It was horrible.
Honestly I love most all charecters being played by Cole sprouse. They are all so full of chaos and angst I live for it.
Title should be: "20 minutes of Dylan making jokes to avoid crying while watching a teen movie.
"Sex inside the vatican"
Dylan: "hopefully not with the Pope"
CHRIST ON A BIKE, that got me gooood
Christ on a bike LMAO
Christ on a bike makes no freaking sense but I couldn't stop laughing at it so great job after two days I thought of it and laughted randomly in class everyone looked at me like I was crazy

i saw this movie in theaters with my mom when it first came out
i was literally choking sobbing and my mother WAS AS DULL AND EMOTIONLESS AS A ROCK I AM SCARED OF HER
This is sooooo true for me and my mom. She NEVER cries at any movies or shows! I'm pretty sure this was the only thing I've showed her that got her to tear up. I cried so much watching this.
dude mothers have seen everything. mothers can go through hell without crying I am convinces. I don't think I've seen my mom cry from a movie once. they have shit to do, no time for emotions

“give me a ten years later”
me: this is cf there probably isn’t a 10 years later😬
Ooh.... that's both funny and sad.
Ooooo... Harsh tho ngl😂👏
Sydney Helton well if they're teenagers then there might just be a ten years later barely (the normal lifespan of a person with cf as of now is 30 years. It used to be 2 years. Though people with mild cf like me might even be able to make it to 70)
What’s a cf?
Pride JA it’s a deadly and incurable lung disease (that’s technically two diseases) and it causes extra mucus to be made. It also does a lot of other stuff like awful breathing problems. I have cf and it’s January right now and I’ve had the same god damn cold since September. (The mucus makes sicknesses stick, even the simple ones like a cold that should have only lasted like a week) I only have a mild case of cf tho
7:08 i thought he was gonna say he ends up stalking her and that's why he gets a 5 feet restraining order
i watched this movie in theaters on my birthday with my mom because it came out on my birthday and we cried like the entire time and i rewatched with my friend group for their first time last year and we all cried so hard…we’re such babies
“Is she pregnant?” “No she ate a burrito”
Cystic Fibrosis Nurse: Spit the junk out of your lungs so you can survive
Dylan:Ew don’t encourage this!
“He’s got that emo boy attitude that only D E A T H can cure”
Dylan: i regret making jokes about this.
Dylan, literally a few minutes later: stronk leggz.

I love how he feels bad for making jokes after seeing Claire even though we know that Claire would have thought this video was hilarious

Aww yess🥺
I can't with the emo jokes lol 12:49
18:43 aww i like the ending of the book better 🥺🥺
Dylan: “Her sister died bro, don’t make jokes!”
Also Dylan: Consistently makes jokes about her sisters death
Everyone: How many death jokes can you make?
Dylan: yes
when i saw the "for claire" at the end IMMEDIAITLY started to cry because she's one of my favorite youtubers and i was so sad that she past away :,( imma definitely watch the movie now in it's entirety
No one deserves that but did will actually exist or was that fiction?
if she died and then he lived and fully recovered would have made this so much sadder because he was fine with dying but she wanted to live
Not very long ago the lifespan was only 2 years, so if we ever find a cure, it'll still be a long while
