Lmao you're such a fuckin Ionely Ioser that you need to make clickbait titles to get any attention in life, so pathetic
I went to an actor studios to learn how to act. They promised us a safe space to create. Well someone stole my idea. How do I, submit something but at the same time protect it? I even had a copyright on it.
@@lauracatha3625 the funniest thing about this video is that Joaquin refers to him as "kid" but Leonardo's merely a few weeks younger than him as both were born in 1974
@@lauracatha3625 There used to be an 'old school' std procedure. I think it worked something like this: you print out a hard copy, seal it in a waterproof envelope, write a working title or your own filing code # on it, put sufficient postage on it, have the mail clerk postmark/time-stamp it in front of you. Retrieve it, write DO NOT OPEN in sharpie on it, then give it to your agent or lawyer to keep in their vault until you're fixin' to sue someone's ass.

Leonardo isn't a better actor than either Phoenix or Bale. He is very good looking, though and looked a lot better when he was younger. Dude looked more like a popstar than an actor. The appearance of your lead actor is an extremely important factor when promoting a movie. You want someone the audience will like immediately and someone they will not get tired of looking at. You also need someone on the poster to attract the teenage audience. Leo fit the bill.

TWO FINEST ACTORS IN HOLLYWOOD ♥️
All in all, both men are fantastic at their craft. Cheers.
Gladiator is my favorite movie, and the acting of Commodus really deserved the Oscar for that movie.
I know out was just a role but I identify with the characters. He was so base and obnoxious in that character that I could not watch him in a part for a long time. DiCaprio is insanely gifted actor
One of the best ever without question.
Just watched Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, one of his best performances
He really is, his range is unmatched.
There’s something people overlook about Leonardo Dicaprio, and that’s his ability to get so deep into the character but not lose himself to an existential crisis, vis-a-vis “who am I?”
He essentially sheds the mindset he adopted to best play the character, like a snake shedding a skin.
That’s genuinely not an easy thing to do when you get so immersed in the roles.
Joaquin is such a real dude. You can see the nerves and gitters hitting him while he gives this humble speech.
He's so humble ,love them both!
Joaquin is like the Mozart of acting…. He truly channels characters from outside himself. A whole different level from Leonardo. But very magnanimous and humble in his respect for someone w a different gift- playing himself very well.
I’ve always felt the same about Leo. Doesn’t take away from his brilliant films, but you do wonder if he’s really that good or if he just always gets the best roles.
@@anthonyangel3109 i think if someone is always getting the best roles, then theyre probably that good
@@mosalad7176 of course he’s good but it’s the look he brings that really carries him. As a result, he’s more likely to get a role than a more talented/versatile actor that doesn’t fit the look. I don’t hate him, his movies, or think he’s a bad actor, but he’s undoubtedly overrated as a result.
@anthonyangel3109 Well the look is part of what makes an actor. He's done very well at using the gifts he was given. Now if we're strictly talking about the ability to transform into a different person and become that person, Joaquin blows Leo out of the water in my opinion. I love them both though. Leo is amazing at what he does and Joaquin is amazing at what he does, and they're very different. And if we're talking actors I wouldn't feel right if I didn't mention Daniel Day Lewis. There's certain roles that are absolutely masterpieces. Joaquin in Gladiator, Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York and There Will Be Blood, Leo in Wolf of Wall Street.
Some actors can transform themselves, and some actors can become the character with their own touch, that’s kind of Phoenix and DiCaprio.
Right, he was just throwing him some flowers. The delivery was good too.

"The Master"!!! He was so BRILLIANT in it and so few people know about that film. So many future oscar winners in that one film.
Joaquin Phoenix is so good at speaking. He really doesn't get the coverage that let's this shine. The inspirational voice. The feeling of soaring! There's no darkness here, no profanity. It's just freedom from the chains of pain and struggle. 🌹
He's a a list actor been in a ton of movies with multiple award nominations also countless interviews what coverage does he need?? Hes has that kinda power and influence to be covered the way he wants to be covered
I love the fact that he was so honest. I think that his parents did a great job raising their children, even though it was an alternative way to live, because all of the kids seemed to have the quality. Kudos to them and him. 👏🏼
You always look SO good when, in the spotlight, you praise someone else.
Smooth, Phoenix.
Absolutely love Joaquin in his roles, especially Gladiator. But goddamn, his 'Move, children! Vamonos!' line from the film 'Signs' always gets me LOL. XD
En qué película es eso?? Leonardo is a living legend with one of the best bodies of work. He’s basically my all time favorite actor!
Leo would have never been able to play the emperor son in Gladiator the way Phoenix did
But could Phoenix fight a bear like Leo ???
That’s a super solid shout-out 🙌🏼 I grew up watching Leo, being about 5-7 years his junior.
