I have an army buddy that lives in bear country and the sound doesn’t matter to him, he said just as long as it goes bang. I am a ar10 & 12 guage guy myself and to be honest magnum slugs out my marine mag and Mossberg spx do all the damage I need for 4 and 2 leg threats.
What ASR mount do you use with the Osprey? Do you have a break also and if so what one? What handguard or rail system also? Finally, what optic? Thanks!
This has to be the dumbest thing I've seen today. If you want to fully suppress a .45 caliber round, get a cheap .45 ACP carbine with a threaded barrel. You're wasting lead, copper, and brass for no reason. It's your money, but you are annoying.
The subsonic 45-70 has over 200 ft lbs more energy than a 45 ACP and is much better for hunting medium size game at longer distances. Trying to compare a 410g bullet to a 230g bullet is pure stupidity! And the 230g 45 ACP is going 200 ft/second slower! Sure you can take a deer with a 45 ACP, but you would need to be very close. Clearly Hornady makes it for a reason! It’s not like I hand loaded these! 😂 Tanks for watching, troll.

I tried to mount my Holosun 510 on my SBL, but I found it to be too tall for my liking. Wish there was an aftermarket mount that made it sit lower...
