I've built a dozen Springers, great project guns. The grip safety and main spring housing aren't MIM, they are cast. All other small parts are MIM, but no big deal as they are easily replaced with forged.
Awesome Sir! Thanks for the Sub to his Channel! This man is keeping it Real for all of us, and bringing us really good content. Stay safe out there, crazy times in 2024. 😊😎👍🇺🇸 Beretta SR.
My opinion on Springfield Armory is that they make EXCELLENT 1911s right here in the USA by American workers. One of their management messed up a while ago and sided against the second amendment. I would not boycott the company for one idiot’s bad move.
I agree! I own about 12 Springfield Armory Pistols. These pistols protect American Lives, Your Wives, Your Kids, Your LE professionals, and more. People really need to look at the big picture. IMO. 😊😎👍🇺🇸. Beretta SR.
They came out on 10-31-22 , I've wanted one ever since in 4" or 4.25" they make both lengths , perfect carry size . Yes... IT'S BEAUTIFUL ❤️. YOUR target work is OUTSTANDING !
Nice features on SA 1911s but internal parts are MIM. You need to review a Fustion Firearms 1911. Excellent deal for the value and made in the USA. I love my Fusion Commander 1911 in 9mm.
The Garrison looks great. Been eyeing one of those for a while. Bluing does not hold up great over time. There are much better finish options out there nowadays but a classic blue job on a beautiful 1911 is just awesome in my opinion. 🤠
@@wyominggunproject Watched it. Excellent review. Terrain looks familiar…lived in Evanston for a few years. Looking forward to checking out your channel.
Yes on the 10mm Ronin. Already filmed and ready to go I just gotta drop it in order. Probably two weeks. Got some other stuff up before it but it is coming. Thanks for watching man. 🤠
Thanks for the video on a beautiful gun. I'd love to pick one up in .45- With respect to the Springfield Armory "controversy," I've been immersed in guns and gun related goings-on for a few 24's now. There are still, still, fossils not unlike myself in scope of being past their expiration date, that would like to dig up Bill Ruger's remains and subsequently toss them down a flight of stairs over his decision reducing Ruger's factory mags to 10 rounds before the impending AWB of 1994 was signed into law. They still view him as a capitulator, traitor, and roll over to the administration in power at the time. Is it ridiculous to still hold a grudge so deeply held that a person still won't purchase Ruger products in 2024? Yeah, I think so. That being said though, they do exist to this day. Americans today may have the attention span of a knat but gun culture types, at least some of them? They never forget. Some of them could forget where they live on the way home from the grocery store or have to write daily lists as to not forget what they're supposed to be doing any particular day. They forget to take their medications and swear up and down they've payed bills that they thought they had but really hadn't because they forgot. But forget about Bill Ruger's decision in 1993? Hahahaha. Nope. They'll never forget that. So, be sick of it all you like but this thing people, certain people, have with Springfield Armory? Be prepared to be hearing about that perceived inustice for the rest of our days. Lol
ALL 1911 models MUST have the barrel throated CORRECTLY as to allow the proper feeding and ejection of all ammunition regardless, even reloads...also carefully check and clean your magazines and look for anything abnormal which could cause a stoppage......These days all manufacturers throat their 1911's, HOWEVER, AT TIMES THE GUN SMITH THAT IS DOING THIS DOES WORK LESS THAN ACCEPTABE AND YOU BUY IT AND HAVE A NITEMARE
I live in Illinois. Eff Springfield. Still enjoy your videos. You review some really cool stuff. 👍🏻
Appreciate that man. I totally respect your view on the Springfield Armory incident.

I love my Government Size Ronin in 45ACP…. It is freaking Awesome. Great Video Sir!

I love my full size Ronin too. It’s in 10mm though.
God Bless you and your son to. Slim.
Just last month, picked up the ronin in .45. 5 inch stainless/blued I am quit pleased. Smooth shooter for a .45. Just subbed, keep up the good work.

Agreed. I have a Bantam and a Riptide-C. The Freedom series is hand fitted at a great price.
great looking gun!!
Thanks Trigger Bar 🤠
My concern is how well the bluing holds up to rust, scratching, etc. Have my eye on the garrison in blue of course.

It runs perfect for me.

Beautiful handgun!! Too bad it got a polymer trigger! Are you going to do video on Ronin 10mm? Thanks

I love my ronin but my stock mag is trash. It drops rounds all the time.

If only it didn’t have mim parts , rather buy the tisas sting ray in 9mm
Very valid point. 🤠
I would not trade a Tisas for a Springfield, no matter how nice the bluing job is.
You know me, hoss. .45 or die! Gorgeous 1911. Now, what would you recommend for grip and trigger replacement? She's a goddamned nail driver!
