The neighborhood looks nice, and this place has good bones. It would probably be great for a mult-generational family set-up. Put teens or adults kids in the attic apartment and Grandma & Grandpa in the other apartment. The 70's stained glass light fixture in the first unit might have some decent value. A family working in the trades could probably do well with this property.
Jeez, how depressing. I enjoy a lot of the unusual styles, the classic homes frozen in time and seeing different perspectives of comfort different people have in the videos on this channel. But videos like today are just depressing, I can’t imagine experiencing life like this or wading through the aftermath. Looking forward to more cool and unusual architecture or a house full of neat old stuff down the road.👍
Love the channel, but please let me disgree with your statement that this mess is because "people have different standards". This is a result of someone with a mental illess. I would be willing to bet that the reason there are state of the art mechanicals in the basement is because the someone has been trying to help this person and was able to get him/her to agree to those improvements, but they've been unsuccessful in gettng him/her to throw anything away.
Gross who the hell is cleaning this place out? The foundation is weak the wall's are shot. By the time you put in all the money in to it is worth it? But we're do you start🥶

I'll save the bike in the basement, go through the bottles in the attic. ( some look antique) and check out all the National Geographics!
This looks like a great project for the fire department
Great lot (s)...but the house is a monster project.
The first unit did have power, the stove clock was on.
I think this place is a tear down, that’s something I don’t normally say.
That new boiler is oil fired.
The outside is attractive style, hiding the disgusting inside. I can't even being to imagine the smell.
I feel like I need to take some antibiotics after that tour.
It has a nice layout inside if it's feasible to fix-up. It's a shame that people who rent always have to destroy the places they rent!
@@donaldclark9462 wow, “people who rent always have to destroy the places they rent”…
That’s not remotely true.
This is a full gut! Nothing that I can see id saveable
I think the guy was living on the 3rd Floor actually.

And this hoarding behavior destroys the lives of others such as the hoarder’s children, spouse, etc.

Teardown.
Bluish green?
Wow
Why would they spend the money for that nice of a furnace when the place is such a wreck?
We are based in Killingly and we buy Hoarder properties we would like to collaborate
I'll buy the house for $5. Cash
