  • In this video I demo and review the Bullfighter D160SE electric guitar. This is a really interesting guitar that is a fully functional electric guitar with 2 single coils and a humbucker.... but it also has an onboard FX processor that includes clean, crunch, distortion and metal gain settings along with reverb, chorus, flanger, tremolo and delay, The guitar also has a built in drum machine with a lot of various drum styles, tempo control and is also Bluetooth capable so you can play to tracks. The guitar takes a 18650 lithium ion battery (not included) but can be purchased online or locally at a hardware store or wlamart etc.... Overall... this is a nice guitar that has a lot of fun features to play around with and could be a very versatile practice tool for a student or someone just wanting to have fun. I hope you enjoy the video. Please subscribe!

    I love it, my first guitar was like that but it had brass buttons and was analog L O L this is really taking me back that was about 19 78-79. Got it at sear and roebuck

    Hey hey hey! Wutup, Marty! Man this is a cool little rig right here! Shoot... I love this thing. I might need to check one of these out. Maybe if they're still around at Christmas I can ask the Fam to grab me one. If I can wait that long. How cool is this? I don't need it. But I dig it! Great vid. Great playing, as always. And man... you just make this rig look so cool ! Rock on, Brother.

    This is a cool idea, reminds me of the old Cort Effector guitars. Those buttons are kinda tough to read though.

    Cool ...I think Mooer GTRS did a variation of this first. They've one down to 349.00 now not sure how long that's half off. SS frets and suhr style beak headstock with pretty cool effects and features. I like this one too. No app needed but probably a lesser quality by the sounds etc. Still this is promising for a kid or young beginner needing a all in one to keep busy and inspired. Great review Man.

    If it had a built in speaker, it would be the perfect couch guitar. But this would be ideal for the youngster starting out.

    Don’t think I’d buy one of these guitars but your demonstration makes me want to buy a drum machine! What a great practice method!
    Any suggestions on one of those?

      I recommend a Boss RC-500 2 track looper, it has a fantastic drum machine built in and is customizable.

    Middle pu is WWWAY too close for my liking. The overall sound.. just as a guitar...is; different. But not bad, as inexpensive axes go. The onboard effects package is actually impressive.
    Overall, a pretty complete starter package.

    Hi Marty, Thanks for this review; regarding the 18650 lithium ion battery, it appears there are 2 types of the 18650... A: One has a "tip" like most round batteries (Flat on one end and a tip on the other end) B: this one is "Flat" on both ends - can you please tell me which one you used? Thanks, and again, thanks for the review.

    Can it do the drum pattern for “Spirits in the Material World?” But seriously love the video and interesting product. Maybe not for an expert player but that’s not who it’s geared toward. Thanks for showing us.

    Totally unrelated question for you buddy, I have never tried the wrap around guitar strings around my hard tail Charvel. Just purchased some reverend willies 7s to try out. Does it make a difference, do you now or have ever used this string method? Thanks man

    • @Ranch5150SkinWalker
      @Ranch5150SkinWalker  3 місяці тому +1

      Wrap around makes the string a little slinkier feeling and in some cases can increase sustain by a little. 🎸🤟🏻

      @@Ranch5150SkinWalker thanks man. I’ll string her up in the am. Have you done a lesson on wouldn’t it be good by nik kershaw? Maybe in the future, great tune . I would rather learn it from you man , if not that’s cool. You da man my friend

    While impressive, thought it sounded pretty decent, especially with no effects on it, considering you can plug in the mini-amps nowadays, like a Spark go or even smaller.... Not sure I see the added value of having the effects that you can't adjust ON the actual guitar. Sure the added value of a rudimentary drum machine that you can jam with but even so....not sure it's more than a gimmick. Cool video anyway.
