I would love to see more how to videos, I love the top 5 videos but it would be awesome if you could break down these techniques and show us how you fish them. I’m a very visual person so actually seeing you work these lures would be a huge help.
Hey Cody glad you didn't get killed bro back in New York where I use to live my girlfriend was a paramedic. And I've seen some bad accidents. I hope you get to feeling better the next few weeks. I have medical issues I've been trying to take care of and I haven't been able to fish for the past two yrs it's driving me nuts anyway you get better and get back out on the water. GOD bless you and your family.
Hi Tim. Love your videos and excellent tips and advice. Taking my son fishing for bass in Sardinia Italy next week. Could you please give us a small tips video on recording tips that you use for your Gopro or gear?
I use a chest mount with my GoPro and I also set it on loop for a minute or so. You can leave it recording and it will record over previous footage. Once you push the button up top it will save your most recent recording. Just remember to turn it back on to continue recording. Also download the gopro app to your phone and connect your gopro to it. That way you can see what the footage will look like and can make any changes to your setup that you need to. Also remember to take probably 3 batteries
I'm curious, do your tips apply mostly to southern region fishing? I live in Michigan and don't really see much content that is equally applicable to north and south. Most things are pretty universal, but I know timing can be different and some things vary.
Matt and Tim. Can you please do a video on how you guys put braid on a reel? I got the Metanium to frog and have the drag all the way cranked down but I can easily pull line out by hand. There is tension but its not locked up... I don't think the braid is slipping/spinning on the spool. I have 20 pound mono backing connected to 65 pound braid. Help! The setup with the Expride XH feels awesome but when I set the hook it gives a little bit. Thank you
If the thermocline is at 12ft, how is a deep diving crankbait effective in 20+ft? Please discuss how the thermocline depth effects where the fish will be.
@tacticalbassin is frog fishing worth it in the afternoon? I never really go fishing in the mornings or after sunset since the parks I fish are closed but I normally go around 3 pm to 7 pm on my kayak or bank fishing is the frog even worth it during those times?
Tim, down in Florida water temps are now in the upper 80s and bass are getting very lethargic. I see them suspended on my sonar at 10-15 feet below the surface but often in 20-30 feet of water. The fish appear to be too lethargic to chase crankbaits and I have tried various finesse tactics with little success lately. The suspended fish won’t hit a drop shot, Neko or Ned rig as they are too high in the water column. My only luck has been on a 1/16 oz wacky rigged senko lately but I have fished for hours just to get one bass to commit. I have tried the Hover stroller but it sinks too fast I think to get a bite. Also tried lipless cranks and square bills along with frogs and other topwater baits in the early morning and evening. I should add that I live on a 2 acre pond that is very much like a long bowl shape. The water drops off fairly quickly along the shore to 25-30 feet. The south side of the pond though has two deep pits that drop to 45 and 50 feet respectively but I have never seen and fish in those deep pits but I do see them suspended over those pits but again suspended and too lethargic to chase anything. Any advice?
Only thing better than catching them on a buzzbait is on a frog. Very enjoyable video Debo, you smoked em. I sure wish you would try that double bladed white 1/8 oz BT's buzzbait I mailed to you. It's a blast to throw especially shallow and in the heat.
It's amazing how many "go-to" baits I struggle with... Crankbaits, jigs and spinnerbaits are 3 examples, but at the top of the list is frogs. Not only have I never caught a fish on a frog, but I also haven't had a fish even blow up on a frog... 🤷
I feel you! This is what I’ve been told and believe. Time Place Conditions After many frustrating times, I’ve learned to listen to the fish. It’s hard to get them to bite a lure YOU want them to bite. But once you find what THEY want, you’ll be set. I’ve found I keep a 7” red or purple worm on a shaken head or Texas rigged, white Spinnerbait with gold willows, and a spook. Occasionally for clear water I have been finding a drop shot with 14-16 in from bottom with a Robo worm in tequila sunrise or equivalent has been the move.
I’m originally from Florida where frogs are a go to. Now live in Missouri and fishing a highland reservoir. Frogs rarely work. Whenever I see “frog” I think Pop-r or chug bug now.
I understand that some things work better here than there or better there than here, but some of the "all time best things that work everywhere" don't seem to work for me....
@gregwhitacre6226 the lake I fish is deep not a whole lot of shallow water to be found besides the very back of creeks or right up against the bank very few main lake flats you can be 20 ft off the bank and be in 60 to 80ft
@@FutureBassmaster4469 I just take pool noodles and cut 1 inch long strips that are like 3/16ths or so thick. Then remove the frog hook and stuff strips with a skinny screwdriver until I think it's enough to float the frog, no matter how much water gets in. Then reinsert the hook. They still collapse like normal.
‘If you don’t have any grass or nasty stuff’ man whoever that is please raise your hand so I can plan a trip that doesn’t involve leaving 10 pounds of algae and weed on the bank
The dog should make more appearances 👍🏼

I like that you include a personal side with family and pets in your work. Shows character versus the youtubers who prioritize promoting themselves.
Thanks for your info to help us
Good video on fishing lures for the month of July went fishing last week and caught a 7.34 lb bass on top water frog
Bloop , bloop , bloop . Keep it up man! Great video!
Yes I agree the dog should make more appearances but mr. Tim another good video good info 💯
Beautiful dog man lol 💪🏽💪🏽🤘🏽
That’s wild. I’m pretty sure I sat on that a few weeks ago at WoW
Good list. Swim Jig definitely in my top 5 tho.
Thanks for the info. Notes taken!!
Thanks so much!!! I enjoy fishing in the summer for bass and this video helped me out!!! I just caught a three pounder! Thanks for the advice!
such a good dog
OSP tiny blitz for cranking in and around grass is the best
Love a Pop Max!!! Thanks!!
Beautiful dog, Tim.
I been catching big ones left and right on gold n black war eagle buzz bait on edges of grass matts

I'm going to get everything he's talking about, but first I got to get a kickin'combo spin casting reel&rod
Great video as always! Still waiting on the South America vid!
Want to bring dog alone what happens when they have to go to bathroom and the banks are not ideal to pull up either cut bank or weeded jungle?!
I’ve been killing it on whacky rigs I use yums I’ve caught 19 fish so far with whacky rigs
Thanks Tim
Tim- "Bloop. Bloop, bloop, bloop."

Great dog breed
Nice looking dog
What about a swim jig In a bluegill pattern is that a good option right now?
Damn Do i see some grey in that Beard. Holy smokes Tim. Thank you for this video.... i really like these videos.
Gorgeous weim

Do you recommend these lures for bank fishing? I don't own a boat.
Zoom flukes are really good with a weighted ewg hook
Yes except the middepth crankbait might get stuck. Go Texas rigging plastics and moving baits like underspins, spinnerbaits, or swimbaits.
I believe your dog is "livescoping". 😊
Sweeet. It’s fun right now dude. I gotta stick with the chatterbait until I stop getting SMASHED on it. 😎🤙🏽
Ever get out to Nickajack? We have zero luck there
👏👏👏 thank you Tim ,awesome job ❤️🤙
Great work
But I wanna see some bank fishing

The dog is even triggered by that crank bait
We talk about livescope to much that it’s over shadowing the effects that AquaView is having on the Tour. Let’s talk about it!
Can you do a too baits you would throw from shore aka dealing with all kinds of things to get hung up on lol
Dog- "Dad, I'm over here. Who in the world are you talking to??"
Tims dog up there scoping
Like the top 5 presentations. How about something that works, that might be off the wall the bass wouldn't expect but will bite
The color june bug seams like a blue gill imitation to me.
Is it possible to throw an A rig on a spinning combo if so how heavy is preferred because I only have a semi heavy spinning combo
Frog fishing aka "power on power" means once you hook the right fish, your XH feels like a ML 😅
Tim I have to know what Steez AGS that is that I keep seeing show up

Try a jigging spoon or flutter spoon

July, when fish are still on beds here in SoCal lol
Ours are done. It was the BGs on beds when the City lowered the water level.
@@funkymojo111 There was still bed fish at lower Otay last weekend, as well as Perris. Like a month, 2 months between last wave and this one
Three months late but better late than never !

Megabass jerkbaits, shakyheads, Cranks, how deep ya in bud?

do you have any cheaper options for poppers?
Pop-r or chug bug
Maybe the new Z-man plastic poppers?
Does anyone else cut thin strips of pool noodle and shove it inside thier frogs? No more squeezing water out!!
Damn genius
Wouldn’t that mess with the bait squishing down on the bite and ruin your hookups?
@@neonwhitea.1548 It hasn't so far. I don't pack them full...just enough to stay floating.
Wait, what? Can you elaborate more, bro? Sounds brilliant, just trying to understand this!!

I wish fishing videos were shorter and fast;/
I can't catch a damn thing lately, even the rock bass have moved out 😢
Throw a wacky rig 5" senko type bait or weightless 5" senko w/ 3-4/O hook all day long.....u will get bites, if there are fish in the area
Tim, I have noticed you don’t use the gangster music at the end of your videos anymore lol what’s up with that?
Gangster music?
the water temp is still low 70 degrees in north east ohio weird summer
Pretty much done with my ugly stick I've been fishing with for about 5years
What happened to your champion???
You got a skeeter
Where’s Matt?
Only thing working for me are senkos and whopper ploppers
You have a Weimaraner? You can't be all bad if you have a Weimaraner! Lol.

The real tip should be. Don't fish for bass in July. If you're not eating them, why catch them?
Bass out of ice, is where it's at.
Any one know of any videos about quarry fishing for bass
Steroids, I believe you misspoke and should have said steroids and more steroids on top of tren and HGH.
