greetings from Poland :) there are quite a few honey lagers (ales are also present) in Poland, but one of the best non-craft one is "na miodzie gryczanym" - "made with buckwheat honey" as the name translates
I'd love to see you review Perla Chmielowa and Perla Export. Those are their major lager brands (Chmielowa is labeled as a pilsner but it's really not one). Most of my friends prefer the Export version, while I enjoy Chmielowa (means "hoppy" although it's not that hoppy obviously). I don't see much difference between those two. Maybe do a comparison?
Tried this - didn't note much honey on the nose; more an aluminium note you get in cheap beer. Yes it has some honey smoothness but the main impression was really poor beer in which a saccharin tablet had been accidentally dropped. I would prefer just the normal (pretty bad) Perla frankly and this went down the sink pretty quick
That's a bit harsh in my view. It's an easy drinking lager that is sweet with honey, and no harshness I could detect. Stands out of the crowd for under six pounds for 4 tins. 8 out of ten bearing in mind the price and alcohol content. 👍
Yes good spot, I uploaded this video then checked it on you UA-cam search and found there is now 2 Perla reviews by me of the same beer. The hazards of reviewing over 4000 beers :-)
This is awful, and reading thru the comments; if they not using real honey, this makes it even worst! Don't bother 1/10 and the 1 is for the fact that it'll get you pissed!
Thanks I was kind of expecting that just from the review suggesting the flavour was so strong - it's not ecomonic and most honeys won't add a huge flavour profile so guess a lot is caramel and the like - suspect that's exactly the same as with jack daniels 'honey' which tastes of a overload of sucrose and chemical flavourings
My daughter and I enjoyed this one.

Good stuff!
Looks like they reduced the ABV, the can I picked up today has 5.4%

They sell this in my local off-license... I really like this one! Reminds me of a lighter Hiver.
Wow...big jump from 2 out of 10 three years ago. What's changed...the beer or your palate?
#teamsłodyczka Haters gona hate, but remember this; judge beer by its style, nor your own preferences. Good review man, cheers!
Just drinking one now very sweet

John Smith NEVER waste Beer. It's a SIN.
Crazy never beat Budweiser but in a honey beer might be a match up against Lomza honey beer
Didn't you review this one few years ago?

Tastes better now than pal
Quite an odd beer!

They are using 0% honey in this beer, to be precise they don't use honey at all :) they are using honey AROMA. It is on the back label.

Man, this beer is the worst of the worst you could pick :)
This is a very poor beer

Stfu, it's okay, actually
Beer not worth reviewing.
