One of my 3 favorite mass-produced Polish pilsners (the other two are Namyslow Pils and Trybunal Pils) which in my opinion, stand shoulder to shoulder with the best Czech and German pilsners. Easy drinking, crisp, clean finish and a nice punch at 6% ABV without an overt alcohol flavor. Poland is truly one of the world's great beer countries.
The caption says: "Lubelski hops, unique aroma", Lubelski is a popular sort of hops grown in Poland, it's quite nice actually, goes good in Pilsners & lagers, cheers !
Maaaan, look for Perła pils in green bottle. It's completly different beer than from can. Brown bottle is ok but green ohh. Grab it, go near river or lake then taste it. It is other demension. Right now drinking it. Cheers!!! Born in Lublin. No other beers here, no others in my throat since 15 years. Still amazed of the taste. The Pearl among the beers!
Sampled a can of this myself over this weekend (because of this video), and I love it!! I will be going back to the polish supermarket to get some more!!
I love a perla. I'm a pilsner guy so always have but when I was in Poland my mrs who's polish introduced me to it. I dig it now. I don't like export. I go and grab the standard from polish shops. On another note not polish but if you like perla have you tried the Czech lager kozel? Also incredible on draft I had that in Poland also, was fantastic.
Came across this very recently in a small European Supermarket in Coventry which featured both Polish and Russian beers. This beer is one of eight Polish beers in Adrian Tierney -Jones book, " 1001 Beers You Must Try Before You Die".
Perla Pils is a very decent can, enjoyed it on a more than one occasion ;] And you were very close Simon, the label says "Uniquely aromatic Lublin hops"
UK tap water isn't used to brew lager or beer in general, but some of the water does need "treating" before it's used to brew. The problem in the UK is that the mass-produced lagers are just made badly and at too low a strength to get a good crisp lager/pilsner taste.
A 6% pilsner? That's pretty high for a pilsner. That's what Lagunitas PILS is, which I think is very good. That would be a cool glass if they ditched the yellow stripes.
Very impressed with the imported Polish lagers, they tend to be more malty than the English equivalents. Perla Mocna 7.6% is pretty good...

Congratulations on hitting the 50000 subscribers. Next target is a million beers drank and a million subscribers.

Love this lager. It's a belter, can't complain at all.
It’s from my home town, Simon. You need to pay Perla brewery a visit.
Perla Pils does it for me has well, i drink it regularly nicely chilled i preferer it by miles over UK
brewed lager. At £1.60p locally .
Perla Unpasteurised (Perła Niepasteryzowana) is really good (gold can).
Get it at my local Polish shop. Trouble with it is...........I don't think it tastes like a six percenter? Can be dangerous for normal lager drinkers?

Good to see you getting back into your lagers.🍺
Always my go to beer👍🏻
The polish lager are refreshing. The polish water is good . Better than UK tap water used to brew lager.

I don't want to sound annoying, but it's actually pronounced perwa!
My fellow Perła bro🍻
Sad news Polish name but rule by Royal Unibrew
This pilsner is terrible. Awful caramel taste. Many better pilsners available out there
