Just wanted to comment on here to give anyone thinking about purchasing some first-hand customer experience. Fit on my 2021 4x4 Supercrew f150 was excellent, welds and finish were all great. I'm a home-gamer who would be at best an intermediate mechanic and I was able to go from unboxing to completely installed in an afternoon. The biggest problem I faced was getting the bolts to thread on the closest nut retainer on the larger bracket. For some reason, I had the damnedest time trying to get that bolt to properly thread in. I ended up walking the hole in the frame by about a 1/16th to the wheels and then everything lined up well. Bwoody's customer support has been very helpful. I had an issue which was more than likely my fault (Make sure that you tighten your leaf spring u-bolts to proper spec the first time, no counting ugga duggas.) and they responded within two business days, stating they were sorry for the delay. Would purchase from them again!
Just ordered a set of these bars for my '22 RCSB, looking forward to getting them on. If I were to get the RIdetech lowering kit with the rear axle flip, will I still be able to use these bars?
Yes, As long as you don't use their shackles. If you do use their shackles, you would require our extended frame brackets that we supply for the belltech kits.
Forgive my lack of knowledge but will these work on a 2023 F-150 platinum 4x4 with 6.5 bed ? Truck has power running boards. Truck has been fitted with the ford performance Bilstein leveling kit and after installing a whipple supercharger now i feel i need something like this to help plant the power.
You should not. We can send you the brackets for the kit along with our diagram to provide us bolt hole to bolt hole measurements to be sure. This is how we produce the custom traction bars when needed.
It looks like a really decent kit, and considering it for my truck. Just curious, after drilling into the frame wouldn't you recommend some rust prevention for the holes? I understand that the brackets seem necessary for a solid connection, but is the frame not strong enough to hold the bolts by itself by drilling the correct diameter thread pitch? Also, Would the kit help with squat when towing? Again, just curious. Other that that, I've heard good things about the kit.
Apologies for the late response. We do recommend rust prevention sprays for customers located in very salt prone areas. I'm not understanding the second part of your question regarding the frame brackets however. Also, This kit does not help with squatting when towing. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us! tech@bwoodyperformance.com

Do yall make this kit for a 2016 with 4 inch lift?
Do you have to have the truck completely off the ground with no tension of the rear suspension or can you install them with the truck on the ground?
The truck does not need to be off the ground - It is best to set the bars with the vehicle on the ground.

Yes sir, These are compatible. The running boards will not interfere with the traction bars.
If I decide to run the Bell Tech drop kit, after installing without. Are the location of the holes the same? Thanks
We offer an extended bracket for the belltech kits, We can offer these brackets separately if you were to call in to our sales team.
