Huge thanks!! Invaluable tutorial alongside your other vids on FORScan!! I just picked up a 2018 Lariat 3.5 and it is night and day after a few changes. The double-honk delete is worth the $50 OBD cable entry fee alone. Fake engine noise delete was also a complete gamechanger especially if your an audiohead like myself -the B&O sound system is drastically better without it. Cabin noise is also considerably lower on the hwy. Deleting the TCM adaptive learning tables and disabling adaptive learning all together is like a new truck when it comes to the 10 speed shifting. I've yet to jump into the As-Builts, and have been unable to figure out auto-folding mirrors on lock.. I've tried Lincoln Mode, and Mirror Auto Fold with no luck.

I appreciate your attempt at explaining using ForScan; any information is more than I had before......BUT you say in your title, “New easy way with no spreadsheet”. Yes you showed it can be done without a spreadsheet BUT you were aimlessly clicking on stuff with no direction as to where to go to get to a certain setting (and you know a lot about the settings). A new user that has absolutely no idea of what module to go to would be just as lost as you seem to be. Honestly, I think your “phone quit recording” because your poking around didn’t work, so you had to find one that did. All I’m saying is a spreadsheet that drills down to where stuff is and gives a description of what it does is helpful. Thanks again.

This is amazing. I had no idea this was accessible until i started trying to find a way to change out my own back up motion sensor, which has to be reprogrammed. I am hoping this will allow me to do that. I kind of jumped in the middle here, and would like to start with first video and watch them all. I am waiting for my Motion Detection Sensor to come in from China. Ford was on back order anyway and the price difference was literally over a 1000 dollars less. So THANKS. I bought some ANZOS headlights Housing for my 2019 XLT halogen. It has the led STRIP but I have to put it in parking lights for it to turn on MANUALLY. Is there away on forscan where they turn on by them selfs?

So this is great. I changed my radio splash screen to Lincoln a long time ago with this software and the spread sheet. Well I did not back up my default programing and sync 3 would not update as it did not see it as a F150 But now I can change it back and try to update it agian.
It sure would be a lot easier and easier if this was like the J Scan app for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. All you need is an obd2 wireless dongle and the app. It's really that easy
But... I like spreadsheets. My copy of forscan resolutely refuses to even look for my bluetooth, even though the laptop was paired with it. I'd rather use the cable anyway.
2020 xl sxt. I cannot get rid of the stupid bounce back window feature on the passenger side. I’m thinking this is the ticket! Also I hear the adaptive learning for the transmission shifts is often the reason for issues I believe you can default if you buy used and disable.

Ford dealer just charged me $120 to turn on the trailer brake controller I installed. I put taller tires on so my speedometer is off. They told me they couldn't calibrate it with new tire size but they obviously don't know what they are doing.
Great video, I have a 2019 F250 Platinum. I added LED lights strips to the bed. I tied them into the existing bed lights but when i turn them on, they quit working. I have to start the truck for them to reset and turn back on only to go out again. From my research, it's drawing to much. My question is can i change this in Forscan so that i can use these LED lights in the bed with the existing bed lights? Thanks

Also I have a problem with the Radio, all components like GPS, climate, backup cam. 360 and all other apps work but the radio runner does not work or turn on.
I got a 2023 F150 power boost with blackout has three quarters of an amazing tow package but even when my trailer is not connected it keeps saying height restriction ahead Every time I go under an overpass Is there a way to shut that off in forscan also is there a way to change the power output to the electric drive so that it will go farther or faster versus a stock setting for when the motors should turn back on for drive power or charging
This may be a long shot but would you have any knowledge if the turn lamp drl and hyper flash disable option would work on a 2010 escape? I’ve done a full led conversion on it and have been thinking about doing this for a while. You’re probably thinking “why the hell does this guy have a 2010 escape???” Honestly it’s because I’ve been turning mine into an off-roader, and because I fell in love with them after my grandmother bought hers new in 2010, so they hold a special place in my heart to be honest. Great cars that are criminally underrated. Just hit 60K miles in mine today and WILL make sure it’ll run 5 times that.

Next I will try parking lamps and fogs or driving lights and see if that will take. If it does I will switch out the driving light bulbs with amber LEDs. Currently stuck on parking lamps and low beams.

The Akon headlights are on my F250 not this truck. The highbeam auto is controlled by the camera and module so changing the headlights should have nothing to do with it

My 2023 rear bed camera was deleted by ford due to parts being unavailable when the truck was built. I want to add the camera back by replacing the third brake light lens that has the camera. I just downloaded and paid for Forscan a week ago. It only has the as built options. So it's very confusing trying to figure anything out. Everything is just numbers and nothing shows what anything is. 2018 F150, 2018 Explorer, 2007 Mustang. All 3 only have as built data.
I realize this is an older video but i had a question regarding the DRL changes and even headlamps. I changed my DRL to turn lamp aswell and enjoyed it, but I noticed when I hit the unlock button on my key fob the low beams cut on with the park lamps, whereas it used to just cut on my park lamp alone. Same goes with my headlamp switch, from auto to park lamp option, to the middle option…the low beam is always on. The only time my low beam does not come on is if my DRLs are on or the headlight switch is all the way off. Any ideas, thoughts, solutions?

I know you can change the mirrors to auto fold if they are power. As far as the dome light you should have a button overhead that turns that off when the doors open
A very late question. I disabled my Canadian DRL lights and not my parking lights in front are not very bright. Yours are how mine used to be. How are your parking lights so bright?
Hi, I wanted to know if you could tell me which Headlights housing you have? and it "looks" like still uses stock size bulbs... which is what i wat to do? also your TL as well, im guessing your truck is pre 2017? Im also looking for the setting to be able to type on the screen using android auto while driving, as well as stock navi.. due to the safety lock you can only do this while fully stopped thanks in advance for any help,.... great vids by the way.... Those are the stock led headlights that came on my Lariat 502a package. I have a video of the settings for navigation in motion. Search under my Forscan playlist on my channel I am unsure of the Android Auto as I rarely ever use it. Basically only when I use Waze

I think the BMW software is a little less user friendly than this. I have not tried this on my Z3

You have to wait for the odometer led's to go off before you turn the ignition switch back on to reflect the change for the themes

I have 2020 f150 lifted 3 1/2 added 35s will FORScan let me update my tires and rims to speedometer.

When switching to MS it does not load further modules. I bought the same one you have off Amazon and licensed it. Why is this happening?

Got Forscan in February and I wish I knew this. I’ve input codes manually on three trucks now…

There are auto switching dongles now that make things easy and no drop outs.

The Akon headlights are on my F250 not this truck. The highbeam auto is controlled by the camera and module so changing the headlights should have nothing to do with it
FORScan doesn't pick up the DDM and PDM for the auto fold mirrors.

That is strange. I have never heard of that happening before. Maybe reset the values and try again

Question I have a 2012 mustang and dropped an 2013 Recaro in it bothe the new and old didn't have power seats and the airbag light came on and couldn't figure out the issues can't slap the old seats on because they're gone is there a way I can edit that on the for scn?

You could try to set it like mine. I set the turn on for drls. Anzos should show amber when turn is on

I change the steering wheel on my 2017 F350 XL To a XLT steering wheel with buttons how can I get them buttons to work with my aftermarket stereo. I’m pretty sure I have to go into the BCM but I don’t have the values numbers for XLT

I know you can change the mirrors to auto fold if they are power. As far as the dome light you should have a button overhead that turns that off when the doors open

A very late question. I disabled my Canadian DRL lights and not my parking lights in front are not very bright. Yours are how mine used to be. How are your parking lights so bright?
