The snowballs and ribbon work were great. Wouldn't have chosen pink and purple for winter wonderland colors, but the baker listened to the bride and delivered!
Beautiful cake!! Personally I'd have loved it with more of the little pink and purple flowers on it, but still very pretty.
Cant believe that the cake is actually the best seen so far on this show !

the little boy eating that snowball is so cute. haha. so this cake is a little bit on the colourless side, but as long as it tastes good and people are happy, id say its a success.

I liked that she used the colors very sparingly in the cake, as it is easy to venture into the realm of tacky with hot pink. I think the snowballs were the cutest thing, and it was amazing that she pulled off something both elegant and fun. That being said, I would have liked to seen all the bakers interpretations of the cake. They all sounded like they understood the couple really well.

Wow that was fabulous very sweet couple deserve this cake. The baker is a really nice person who listened and worked really hard to pull together a non Christmas theme without it being gaudy and it worked probably one of the prettiest cakes on this show! You got to see it to believe it don't skip by reading the comments

At 5:43, when she says, 'it was really nice to meet you,' that is the kiss of death in any interview. If you hear that at the end of an interview, you didn't get it. In fact, I've used that as a barometer as to whether or not I got the job. I've never been wrong when I hear that phrase. LOL

I didn't really like the cake, but I liked the fact that when you cut into the cake you get different colors

I don't think so. Her cake is gorgeous. She proved that "being colorful" is not all. Her cake has a complex design, it is elegant and harmonic.
Gorgeous Cake. I think the 2nd gal would probably have done something really cool, too. Could have gone a little funkier, with a bit more colour and it would have been nice to have modelling chocolate versions of their dogs on the bottom board - nothing garish -just quirky and cute. Not to take away from this cake, which is right up my alley. Beautiful, feminine, seasonal without being Christmasy, well executed and delicious.
i went to a school interview and they said nice to meet you. i got admitted in though. sooooo.... yeah. may not work all the time. but!! i think youre really onto something!

I don't like it, the second baker was the best option imo.
I'm a cake decorator. A tip decorating cake decorator. I hate fondant. Cookie cutter skill is what you're seeing here with the fondant decorated cakes.
If she's a professional she should have covered the silver cake board esp when it's a wedding cake! Poor form.
